SDPB App
The South Dakota Public Broadcasting App allows you to listen to South Dakota Public Broadcasting Radio and Television, pause and rewind the live radio audio, and view the program guide all at once! You can explore On Demand content, search for programs, bookmark a program for later, and wake up to SDPB with the alarm clock!
Live Streaming
• DVR-like controls (pause, rewind, and fast forward). You can pause the live stream to have a conversation and pick up right where you left off! Or rewind to catch a comment you just missed!

Not a very well behaved app. Difficult to shut down (rebooting phone is sometimes nessesary), frequently stops live stream (pressing pause and play sometimes resumes but only after listening to an advertisement). A bit hard to find content. I just wish phones had FM.
I have trouble using it to get programs on your special website
It stops constantly. You have to keep restarting. I have reinstalled the app 3 times. It will work for about 1 week then start stopping again. I have called SDPBS but never got a call back from their tech dept
Consistently great programming. Not consistently great connectivity and streaming.
Was much better before the last upgrade that took away the option of listening to this AND a scanner app at the same time.
The content is fine, but the app itself shuts down frequently.

Love it! On Demand keeps me walking and healthy! It's smart and clever and people look at me strangely walking through the park with a smile on my face and laughing bc they don't know I'm listening to Ask Me Another.... or Wait Wait ✋

Livestream is frequently disrupted.
Easy to use. Much more stable since upgrade. Bluetooth connection to bathroom speaker... No more bathroom radio taking up valuable space. Easy app navigation. Thanks sdpb!!

Love to stream public radio & hear SD news I missed. Easy navigation. Lots at your fingertips.
I use this app mostly for radio. While most of the time it goes fine, the signal has a tendency to go in and out. There also is no way to mute the radio or pause it so if you ever need to turn it off and on again you must also restart the program.
I would give this five stars, but it does cut out more than I think it should.

Often it will not stream. I do love to play shows that I missed.
Generally, this app has the features which I was hoping for on an app for South Dakota Public Broadcasting. It includes a lot of information about the SDPB programming. It also offers live streaming of both television and radio. Unfortunately, the live streaming of SDPB's television feed is not working. Based on positive reviews, I am assuming that this is a temporary glitch. At any rate, the live streaming of the radio service does work, which is enough to make this a keeper.
