SE-SC/IPB

The Presbyterian Church of Brazil is a religious community made up of members who adopt as the only rule of faith and practice the Holy Bible and how expository system doctrine his Confession of Faith and the Larger and Shorter catechisms.

It consists of a federation of local churches, with civil headquarters in the Federal Capital, organized according to its own constitution, with glorious mission to worship God, spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to promote Christian education and social work. Exercises his government through councils and individuals regularly installed and the Supreme Council is its General Assembly.

The Executive Secretariat, through its representative, has the primary duty to respect and enforce the decisions of the Supreme Council and its Executive Committee, and move the churches under the guidance of the committee and take care of the file, documents and correspondence of IPB .

The secretary has to also serve to official councils and all members of the IPB, during the eight years that takes its mandate. The Secretary is elected through voting by the Supreme Council of the IPB, in which the representatives of the presbyteries throughout Brazil have voting rights.
