Sea knot

Every day we were binding sites. We can say with them begins our day: we tie shoelaces shoes, ties, sashes. Going on the road, tighten the rope and again things were binding sites. When we go to rest, haunting us again nodes
- on duffel bags, tents, volleyball nets, fishing gear.
In short, the rope (cord, rope) has been and remains an important tool in the hands of man. Today, even in space people could not do without the rope (it was a special synthetic rope): it was used as a tether at the exit of astronauts from the ship into space. For whatever needs or used a rope, it is inconceivable without knots made her ingenious interweaving, ligaments, and loops. Once we take the hands of the rope, we immediately begin to think how to tie it. This program contains instructions and descriptions of tying more than 70+ knots.

p/s The program is being upgraded and improved, stay tuned. Similarly affected by an English translation (machine translation) if you are ready to assist in the translation of the program I would be very grateful to you.

Good illustrations, but horrible translations. The menu could do with thumbnail overviews.

The search function is not recursive into categories so its useless...app category organization is good...

Good variety of knots, but needs to have some better English translation & names of the same knots. Like the grassy knot is called a Cerrick Bend in Alaska or was in the 70's, when we needed to join two shots (predetermined lengths) so we could launch our King crab pots in deeper water. Easily untied after being pulled up from 100 fathoms if you needed to add more, or less.

Looks like a machine translation from russian to english with classic errors like "onions" instead of "bow". A distinctly russian version of nautical knots with some unusual regional knots. Not good for instruction, due to the poor translation and a persistently ambiguous style of presentation (often 2 related knots listed under one name), but interesting for researching russian sailors' methods.

The translation is so beyond confusing (at one point I was reading about an archer who hangs on to onions?). The descriptions are absolute gibberish, and some of the advise is horrible and dangerous (there shouldn't be a single rescue worker or firefighter alive that uses a slipknot to lower a person down), and a good majority of the knotwork shown has just been renamed to make it look like there are more knots than there actually are (I.e. the cat's paw, and daisy chain, etc...)

Who wrote this? You should be on TV competition against a 5th grader.

The actual not in the way they represented is great. However unfortunately the written instructions are a little unclear and probably need help in syntax as well as composition. Otherwise it's a really great app if you can get past the words because the pictures are just very very simple. And that's why I'm giving it five stars.

Good variety of knots only problem is the translation which sometime is incomprehensible. Fix this and the app will be one of the best knot apps on play

I would be more than happy to assist you in the correct English for your app.:-) I still practice knot tying and I am always looking for new knots to implement. A book store here has a book for sale (knots) for almost $300.00. I really want that book.

Delete, indentity permissions are new and not needed for these apps. Look for better apps without this unnecessary sec. settings

The User Interface is poor, I keep wanting to swipe to the next knot in a page to page manner, instead I have to go back to the contents list. The machine translation is of a very poor standard, the knot names when translated from the Russian?, bear little resemblence to the en-gb names that these knots would be known by. It seems to have been cribbed from an old russian instruction book.

This book most likely is a translation into English. The English is so bad even if a bowline where there I couldn't find it. If I can't find a bowline this book is useless for Sea Knots. What knots I did find had poor information even if you dismiss the miserable English.
