Application allows you to save favorite articles so that later you can easily get to them. Also you can add notes when reading articles. One of the features is that you can play speech in the SMCP category.
***Nautical calculator***With this calculator you can easily calculate rhumb line and great circle distances. As well you get rhumb line course and great circle initial and final course.On the first screen you should enter departure and arrival coordinate, after that press "calculate" button to get results.
Further version of Sea Sector application will contain more category and more content. One of the features will be a celestial calculator for calculating elements of celestial navigation and estimated time of arrival calculator. Also we will work on adding more content in the existing category.

Older version is better. The new version requires internet connection. Seafarers cannot access this while at sea. Too much ads.
All lessons are well explained and simplified making it easy to use. i have not made a subscription yet but like the outcome of the app give it a try.
overall i am pleased with this app, although there are a number of spelling and gramatical errors. the images of some knots could be better.
This is a very organized and easy app to youse, my experience has been excellent and I will continue to use it.
Older version was helpful and access the application offline..this application for sailors and bad luck is there is no network available at sea ..those who on sail can't use offline ..

The COLREGS isn't updated with the new rules and annexes. And a quiz would be nice.

Does the full version of the app include the four pillara of IMO? STCW, SOLAS, MLC, MARPOL. If yes id consider pirchasing the full version?

Not that great Honestly most of it is under subscription lock, and what is available has ads between 80% of these very short snippets of information that could be found online for free. For something titled a course, there are no tests. Youd get more if you bought a book. Only really good thing is how its organized.
