SeacoastBank Personal Banking

Before the upgrade, an excellent app. Now it's unusable. It freezes, it closes, fails to respond. Has crashed my phone twice. Buttons don't respond. A call to Seacoast was futile. They advised me there had been no complaints about it and implied I was too stupid to use it (Been with Seacoast maybe 7 or 8 years). They refused to look at the feedback here. Apparently we aren't real customers. Only option is to go to full site and wade through security layers. Not exactly "mobile" banking.

This app can be good if it worked all the time. I've had it for several years, it's convenient, I can see all my accounts, and it's great to deposit checks online. HOWEVER, the pages do not load 90% of the times! It is so frustrating to try to check your account and not even be able to put your login (or pin) to sign in because the page is completely blank! Restarting the phone doesn't help, you have to actually uninstall and re-install the app every time this happens, which is very often.

Overall a basic app. Pros: Works 99 % of the time on my note 9. Does what I need it to do. No limit on deposit amounts. Cons: no fingerprint to login, you login once to view your accounts then you have to login a second time to deposit, transfer or pay bills. Needs one login for everything. (Fingerprint) the check deposit needs to be updated where the camera auto adjusts and takes pic. when depositing a check get rid of all the pages with legal stuff as I only need to see that once.

This app is probably the worst app I've ever used. It opens randomly, forcing me to restart my phone, uninstall and reinstall it. A week later, I have to do it again. And it's not just my new Motorola g7 Power. This app didn't work on my previous phone either. The people who made this need to never work in app development ever again, and they probably should be beaten with long bamboo sticks for 3 to 5 minutes each.

Awful app, great bank. Every time I open the app I have to restart my phone or the app will keep opening itself up after I logout. I'll be scrolling on facebook and about 20 seconds later seacoast bank pops up! Sometimes it randomly does it as well. Its very frustrating, especially when you're driving and using your gps but your bank app keeps popping up!!!

App constantly (several times a day) starts up on its own. I am a contractor and am sometimes working on bids through various platforms on my Samsung Note 10, when it decides to randomly start up it forced me to start the bid completely over. It us costing me time and money. However i need a banking app for other reasons. This may force me to change banks completely. I had absolutely no issues prior to your buying out first green bank.

This used to be a great app. Easy to use at the touch of your fingers anytime of anyday. NOW... is horrible!!! Can't even get it to open. I've called tech support, nothing. I've called the bank, nothing. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled, nothing. Turn phone off and restarted, nothing. Turned Wi-Fi off and on again, NOTHING!!

App keeps forgetting my username and or password. I never changed it but it still keeps locking me out of my account. I have to call an operator to straighten it out and nothing has changed. also the app keeps opening up by itself. all the time. And when it does I have to delete it and then reinstall it. Big pain

this app is such a pain!! it constantly restarts itself on it's own. my phone will be locked and sitting there the app turns on. Or I'll be doing something on my phone and the app will again restart itself and clear out what I was doing. love having a banking app and the app works good while on it but the whole restarting thing is soooo annoying!!

5 MONTHS LATER AND STILL CONSTANTLY HAVE THE SAME ISSUE. Just spent 30 minutes tryimg to deposit 7 cks. Still cannot get two of them through. When attempting to make a deposit, app constantly says cannot read back of check (or front), regardless of lighting, dark background, etc. Have to sign out and back in to complete, with no changes in how I take the photo.Then I can get about 2 or 3 cks to deposit before the same BS starts again

The most troubling app I've ever used on a phone. Constantly draining battery power in the background, does not load & fails to launch after anticipating for minutes, forcing me to uninstall & reinstall the app between uses. Never had this problem when I had First Green Bank. Edit: the only functional means of using this app is by forcing to reinstall for EVERY USE. I'm switching to a competent financial institution aligned with ethical values and practices.

App opens on its own, which is a new thing. I never had any problems with it until a week or so ago. Now it has gone haywire! I deleted it, and went to the app store to download again, but it shows there are ads now?! Not in my banking app, no thanks!! Seacoast, please fix your app or there are lots of users, like me, who are sadly going to be changing banks!!

I loved the app & used it all the time... until today. I appreciate the security efforts, but you've forgotten the customer. I'm really annoyed. The app requires me to accept the terms of accessing everything on my phone, including contacts, camera, etc. When I call Seacoast I'm asked for security information including pin & 4 digits of S.S. without the option of declining to allow this information to be given. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE !

I usually dont have issues with this app but in the last 2 weeks I've had to uninstall the app at least 5 times because it keeps trying to load on its own. I didn't have to do anything.. I could be on FB or IG and in the middle of me scrolling down my newsfeed this app would pop up out of the blue and I'd have to keep hitting the exit prompt to shut it down. PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM

Generally, the app isnt that bad. The reason I gave it two stars is due to the application constantly opening itself up and asking me to login. When it does this, I have to completely restart my phone because the seacost app wont let me do anything else. Any time i attempt to open another app, it switches mebto the seacost app. Kind of a big bug if you ask me.

I've been using the app for months (when it actually works). I get a new phone, re download and it says my user id/password is incorrect. I can use the same one to log into the website just fine. they said i have to call to fix it, but every time i do, they are experiencing "an unusually high wait time"

App is very slow, it's sometimes very unusable due to not loading up. It takes 5 days to update purchases. Also other times it cannot even process your login password and requires you to use your account password to prove who you are. But when that is entered you have to press the submit button 50 times to send the data. aweful app.

The features are great. I can conduct ALL of my banking from my phone. HOWEVER, the stupid app WILL. NOT. STOP. POPPING. OPEN! I can be doing something else and it pops open right in the middle of something else. Infuriating!!! I have Uninstalled it numerous times and Reinstalled it only to have it do it again....

The worst banking app. only installed it 2 days ago. 1st day got locked out. I tried to use my debit card that night and was rejected. I called and was told there was restrictions set on my app. I never set any. they told me they couldn't get me back into the app until Monday (2 days later) because their 3rd party people who do control the app are not available at the weekends. The app will also randomly open on it's own too after closing it. This happened twice whilst writing this review.

App has always been buggy. But now it refuses to load at all. I tried reinstalling, but now it refuses to send me texts for verification. The same happens when I try to use the website so I currently have no way to access my account. I see this is not a new problem for this bank, and yet nobody is responding to customer complaints? This is disappointing.

The app was amazing until a week ago. Every single time I open the app all I get is a plain white screen. Nothing pops up no matter how long I wait. I have force closed the app. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled the app countless times. Nothing is working.

This is a terrible app. It CONSTANTLY opens itself and I cannot get anything done on my phone. I have to download it to check my balance, or deposit a check, but then uninstall it immediately. PLEASE, Seacoast, read all these negative reviews and fix the app. It's been like this for well over a year.

please fix this app asap. it is unuseable since the last update. i have uninatalled and reinstalled several times. same problem. the app randomly opens and tries to force me to log on and crashes any other apps i have open. it happens almoat every time i am on my phone, making my phone unusable too. deleting this app until issue is fixed. bye bye online banking. disapointed.
