Search By Image

Excellent Photo Search Tool. It simultaneously runs image searches in Google and Yandex. There's a third search as well, but it almost never shows anything so I don't even know the name of that one. Between the first two you'll be hard pressed not to find information and better quality images though. Excellent!!! For the bad reviews, what are you people doing wrong, this app works perfectly. The only ads are when you back up to the main page after an image search. Fair deal. EXCELLENT APP!!!!!!

This is somewhat of a useful app. It works about half the time, but what do i exspect when there's gazillions of images out there for the app to compare to. I'm sure that will change over the years as it catches up with all the images added daily. I do recommend this app if you're searching for stuff for resale it does help! Even basic info or researching. When it does find things that I'm looking for it takes a relatively short amount time to do so! Great tool to have, and its free!

I find this app quite useful when looking for places to live, so I can see which listings are frauds. It gives you the chance to see if the same pictures are used on other websites and other listing in different places. The app has some minor details that could be chanced/improved to help the usability, but other than that, it's a great tool to have.

This app is useless. 99% of the time i take a picture for it to search, the results are never even a fraction close to what the picture is. For example, i needed to find the price of a heating pad. I took a clear image of the box and i get results for sweaters, light switch covers, label stickers, bulletproof hoodies. Does that stuff look like a heating pad? Not close unless i missed something.

I selected an image and it either goes back to the main screen without taking the image to the screen to start the search OR I am at the point where my image is selected and I am able to press the search button and then it goes blank?! I have tried to use the camera option. Did not work.after a frustrating afternoon I eventually got a result but I thought I would share this and the link doesn't work. So I don't know what is happening with the app and if it is a common experience? Any ideas?

Terrible. So I was just looking for a Free Image Search! I then I had to put in my debit card info. Then didn't uncheck the little box at the end before I hit submit. So I ended up in a Free Trial with a $1.95 charge to my debit. And in 14-Days I'll be charge $4.95 then $33.00 for a subscription If I Don"t Cancel! The system went to several different screens after putting in for my debit info; now I do not even know who to cancel with. Oh! After all this still no results on my image search😕

I really like this app better than Google lens now because it will find close matches almost all the time and Google has been saying there's a problem, almost every time. Kind of crazy since it is using Google's search engine most of the time lol. I wish I could save the pics I take on the app sometimes and that's a little frustrating but so far A+!

Good for searching and identifying anime figure, although not all the time...but it's accurate more or less 70+% above...my only issue some time takes more than a minute or so to load the images.

This amazing! I'm surprised there's something as efficient on here for free. You can pay extra to remove the ads if you want, but it works amazingly with the ads but if they get annoying, you can remove them for a reasonable price. Anyway. thanks guys and gals for creating this, and keep up the good work!

So when you use the app you can take photos or select a photo in your gallery for it to search for, but no matter how hard I tried the taking a photo option by using your camera it didn't work at all on the bright side though the gallery option worked perfectly, another annoying feature about it though is the ads which isn't really uncommon with free apps but sometimes apps have so many ads it annoys people and makes them uninstall it.

Well so far 3 different image searches of 3 different tools instantly finds a you tube video for a music band called SOLID. Not sure what tools have to do with music. Especially 3 completely different looking and sized tools. It's more of a joke so far. Will try more stuff before I update review and/or uninstall/keep this app.

I’m just hopping back in here to say — more than 2 years later — it’s STILL the champion! Oh the others will find images for you, but will they list the DIMENSIONS? This is what separates the men from the boys. Tip: This bad boy wants to be swiped. Drag left or right to access the different engines. My favorite is Yandex. Dimension Dimension Dimension. I can’t emphasize it enough. What a great little app.

Not at all helpful if you want to find things to buy or id. Too many useless Pinterest results, foreign sites & irrelevant results- best if you select Yahoo, the lesser of 3 bad search engines. Also, WAY too many pop-ups & ads. Horrible interface. Horrible privacy policy.. Other than that ... it's better than nothing

Absolutely unhelpful. Trying to identify action figures and it never comes close outside of color schemes with 2 links to the same 2 YouTube videos of best fictional characters. At least Google lens has little indicators that let you know when it recognizes something.

This is a very simple app. Although I highly reccomend google lens (Which is not compatible with my device, but my mom has it). But this is a great replacement! I Iike how you can switch between search engines and I also like how it tells you what the picture is called. It loads less, and it is a spectacular app!

Great at finding smilar images. However, most of the results are in some foreign language and I can't find the instructions anywhere to change the language to English.

Great app!! It puts a name with a face in a few seconds a match or similar pictures come up.. The profile info. Is detailed and several other pictures post as well.. 👍👍

Way better than just Google lens by itself. Y'all give 3 different search engines to use and can edit the search field along with the photo in order to help narrow down the search. 🙂

This app needs more work. I found it to be clean & easy to use, but the image recognition algorithm/software was wildly inaccurate. Tested it on a number of household items and the only thing it correctly id'ed was toilet paper! It thought a doorknob was a "zinnia" and a remote control was "Yamaha Motors corporate headquarters". I really wanted to like this app, but it needs help.

This was the only app that was able to accurately identify my carved grizzly bear statue. It even gave me a similar image that appears to be right on target. The only problem is the website that has the similar image is in a foreign language, so I don't have a clue as to what is being said about my bear. I can not find anywhere to interpret the ino. Otherwise, this seems like a good app so far.

Makes it easier to search by an image, much like using desktop google image search w/ upload. Unfortunately doesn't allow tumblr to share pics for direct search - must save pic before opening this app to do the search (or share image from photos app works too). Would be super nice if there was a setting that would allow you to blacklist sites from search (like pinterest.* which never has original content); can do this in the app with -site:pinterest.* after the initial search.

Horrible. I wouldn't recommend. I needed to figure out the brand on an mp3 player... simple right? There was an identifying symbol o the back and what should have been an easy image to search and find proved to be not so easy with this app. Needs some major improvements... sorry yall just being honest! And there's ads... smh. Oh well.. uninstalling immediately!

When I search for an image it comes up "results for tree" or results for "red hair" so I crop the picture and it says " results for close up" and none of the pictures look like the photo I'm searching for! I even did a search for my own pic to see if it would work, knowing I've got plenty of pics out there, and it came back "results for pink hair" and showed pics of people with big pink hats or pink flowers on their heads! Doesn't work!

Its overly generic, like if you put a picture of a building with its name clearly there and everything it won't show you that building, instead it will just show you similar looking buildings that are totally unrelated to what your looking for. I don't recommend this app, it's a waste of time and data and I would have given it 0 stars if I could.

Updated: Great app. I was confused when I decided to change my rating. When I searched for an image and the result is found in the Pinterest site, the site itself (not the app) would ask for a login, which I mistakingly thought was the other way round. It is the Pinterest which is nagging and annoying. My apologies to the developer. Your app does deserve FIVE stars. Thank you for replying.

All in all pretty good app,But it has it's glitches. Ex. Sometimes I'll upload a photo to search & it will completely search the WRONG THING,or something completely irrelevant to what I was wanting. With that being said it's pretty handy at times when it's working.

I would rate this 0 stars because the pictures are blurry as h*ll, and when I tried it with pictures of rocks. It said on was an artifact, the second and invertebrate, and the third an ant. The reason I installed the app is because their were rocks that I didn't know the names. So please fix this issue.
