Right off the bat, it asks you to pay, you can avoid that by just tapping the x on the top right of your screen, or just press back on your phone, not all phones have that tho, so idk. And the best part about this app is IT DOESN'T EVEN WORK! You take the picture, it gives you the option to edit it, and yet it shows a white picture on there and when you tap next, it doesn't do anything. So naturally I pressed it 4 more times then it said "you've searched more than 5 times, get pro!” don't bother
This app is more like a scam. I downloaded it on my phone to search an image and it did not work. After couple of days, my account was charged for $212 without my authorization. Now I'm fighting on getting the refund and so far no luck. No response from the developer. Counting on google support to get this fixed. This is extremely frustrating and I dont understand why such apps are allowed to be on Google play.
Terrible!!!! Wanted an app that would search my saved photos of product to identify them. This app did not allow me to search my photos only online photos. I tried cancelling the app before the trial but was unable to do so. I contacted them several times after being billed over $200 for a years subscription and have yet to get a response or even help with accessing my photos from the app. Rip off for sure!
$200 for an image search? Preposterous. And get this: they load your gallery from oldest to newest, so I had to scroll from the first picture I took on my phone all the way down to my screenshot from 30 seconds ago. I found what I was looking for, but the price and user experience of the app are unbearable.
I installed this app even after reading the reviews thinking maybe it'll work with my phone though it doesn't with the latest reviews here. They were right. Nothing works. All i get after pressing the "Gallery" button to choose the image that i want to reverse search is blank white screen. Easily the fastest app that i install then uninstalled in my life.
To unsubscribe go to the page where it says uninstall or open. Under that you will see manage subscription. Click on mange subscription and follow prompts. I was trying to rate it as 0 stars. This app does not work. It never moved pass the first screen. It wants to charge my card for $199. Not this time.
Very very expensive ad; for what it is I mean. If it deliveres then I could totally see the worth but other than that, be careful. Apps like this charge you a ridiculous rate but give you a small window of freedom while using the app for 3 days or so hoping you'll forget about the subscription. Now they have that ridiculous amount (you know... Like we talked about earlier) and that money will end up so tied up in litigation you might have just kept the app on your phone for the icon. Haha 🤣🤣
Ridiculous! Disappointment! Cash grab! It immediately tried to get me to spend money. Then when I went to uninstall the app, it wouldn't let me the with the first 2 attempts and it's been "uninstalling" since I started this rating and is still going as I type. I've never encountered this particular predicament with any phone or any app.
No control over app. Opened it up and immediately wanted me to subscribe (~$200 a year). Tried to exit and it put me at image upload screen. Could not do anything effective. Tried to confirm they did not bill me for services. No way to confirm. Seems like a money grab.
If Smart search is the best image search app then I am the USA President. As it bugs you to take out a subscription of $319 per year, but if you don't it freezes at the search screen. Uninstalled and reported, but I know Google won't do anything like they failed to take action on many issues their own user's have reported many times over years. 👎👎👎👎👎👎
I'm not even sure if the app was messing up or what, every time I tried pulling up the gallery nothing would show up but it still let me click things. So I chose the last picture I downloaded and tried to hit next but that didn't help at all. Your app maybe bugged, please check it out.
As soon as you open it this "free" app wants you to pay for it. Finally found my way in to try it out, gave it the requested permissions and then found it utterly incapable of bringing up my gallery images so I could select what pic from my gallery I wanted to search for. This app was a complete waste of time and failed its singular mission. Uninstalling.
When I want to search something from gallery, it shows me older pictures of my gallery on the top. Newest pictures of my gallery are shown at last of all pictures. It seems me too disturbing. Also, I can't choose a pic from any folder. All pics are shown together. It needs much time to find a pic from all the gathered pics.
Make sure to click "see all reviews" and then "positive" and select no for all of them. You can do this for free, 💯% better results. Yandex, google, yahoo, pretty much any modern search engine. Bad tech. Do not download, or pay.
I tried this application. Neither of the buttons work. The camera button does nothing, and the gallery button goes through some faulty initialization process where it looks like it is going to work but it eventually leads back to the main screen.
Very slow application, its takes hours to load a photo and at the end it says error or something wen't wrong, i haven't done something meaningful with the application since i downloaded it. they also try to force you to give 5 stars when they do not actually deserve half a star. It's a complete waste of time and data.
Most of the features are paid. The most annoying thing is it doesn't let you select images directly from your gallery instead your gallery images appear on the app in such a jumbled way that it wud take you ages to find the image u want to search from.
I installed this app to search by image and immediately found this app to be absolutely hopeless and useless. I immediately uninstalled this app. But I wasn't aware that I should manually cancel the subscription from the play Store subscription settings which I learnt just now after receiving an email from Google upon raising a complain regarding the charge of $199 from my debit card. I requested Google to refund but they directer me to the developer.
Haven't been able to use it yet because Google wants payment before a free trail. If Google wants to sell apps to help its search engine, they should offer 30day free trails and have the app downloaded on all available new devices so people will depend on its fast and easy way to search for an item instead of leaving it to Google figure out what someone is looking for the when they dont know. If u like the feed back, I'd like a free app? 😁
Not giving me an option to unsubscribe anywhere. The app does not work. I allowed for my camera to be used but will not open my camera. Only will let me open my pictures, which there are none since it wont let me take any pictures. It will let me click the clock image as well for history but there is none! Super annoyed. Would like to unsubscribe but the website wouldn't work. Scam!
Horrible. Just horrible. Right off the bat when I tried to search for an image from my gallery, the images from my gallery wouldn't even load. I've restarted my phone, uninstalled the reinstalled the app and its the same thing over and over
Limited searches without paying for extra AND when I tried to select photos to search up, they all came up invisible. I couldn't even see what image I was looking at nor would it actually search the image.
Worst experience! The images are not loading at all! No alert messages regarding the issues. Nothing. Uninstalled in 10 min... Requesting the developers to look into the issue.
You must be completely incompetent to think anyone is gonna pay $400 a year for that. It'd be more worth the money and I'd probably have better luck trying to reverse image search by making text based images in the Google search bar.
worthless, it doesn't even bring up the photo you're looking for, nor an image that is even remotely close, I download and use apps all the time but this app is the absolute worst in the play store, waste of phone space, pass it up ppl
This app is the worst one. When I opened the app it showed you will need to use pro. When I skipped this option another page came in which gallery and camera was there. When I clicked gallery it was not showing any image only white page. I sware it is worst app....
MASSIVE SCAM, DO NOT DOWNLOAD - 3 days 'trial' period to be able to scan for 1 x photo and then was going to charge me $319.99 for 1 year subscription. Lucky I saw the email the day after and cancelled before charge. From what I can see in these reviews, some other people weren't so fortunate.
This is a fraud aap. I have not used this aap not even for an hour and even uninstalled, the subscription amount of inr 16800 has been deducted from my account. When i requested for refund ,google declined. They asked me to contact developer. I will try that. Not sure whether will get it or not. But it's a very big amount for me. Hope the developer will understand and refund the amount.
What exactly you guys thought before making this user non friendly app? :D Its an android app, so obviously images needs to be uploaded from the gallery or file explorer.. but you have not given any option/index/gallery to open the file location.. and may be expecting users to first search the lication of file, by your chaotic way.. Anyways.. God bless you..
When I said "search for image" I didn't mean "I want to spend and hour looking for the picture I want to look up. When you go to select the image to look up, it brings up every single image on your phone in one giant scrolling list and you have to search for it, and it's not in any order that makes sense. There is no option to sort by folders or anything like that at all. I gave up entirely before I was even able to look up a single picture.
