I have a DDI account and was looking forward to using an app to supplement my books during games. However, I am unable to login to my DDI account as it keep requesting that I login to access everything in the Options Menu but does not give me said menu. I am therefore unable to use the app at all.
what it did not tell you is that you need an active DDI subscription to use. bad form. EDIT: ok it says so in desc but it doesn't tell you a DDI cost any money.
This doesnt work at all. Wouldnt show me anything after I logged in my info. I feel like this might be a scam
Testing my login doesn't work until after I save it. Otherwise great, straightforward app.
No longer connects to DDI, so therefore no longer usable. Sad :(
So I can't use the app unless I described to D&D Insider. So it takes it me to the link so I can. But there's no way to subscribe to it. I've been trying to describe so I can use this app. I've been trying for months and cannot use this app so I'm deleting it.
If you have a DDI account, this works nicely. However, it requires you to constantly reenter (every 2-3 searches, it seems) your ddi password, which is very frustrating.
Just needs to remember my password between sessions. If I exit the app (or switch to another app) , I have to re-enter my password.
Can't use unless u have a DDI. In the processes of uninstalling right now.
This is much easier/faster than just using the compendium in the browser. Thanks :)
Edit: it's the best compendium app out there.
Using Samsung galaxy s3...and when I select an item, when it opens, all I get is a small window with " ï¿ 1/2 " shown...not sure if its just my phone, as other ratings suggest this works, but uninstalling and reinstalling didnt fix.
Too bad not all categories are included.
I guess i didnt know free meant the you had to pay money gor an account yo use it
Can it be moved to sd?
Not the best looking app but it does a great job
Requires a D&D Insider account, so be forewarned but is a great front end for the compendium. I use it with my ASUS Transformer TF101 at the game table.
All this is is a shortcut to your web browser.
Log in is broken - My email address log in has more characters than the sign in box. As a result it pushes the "ok" button off screen and I can't cl
As said love the app, but would rather pay than have advertising. Application 5 stars Advertisements -1 star
Login option is faulty.deleted
Finds Items only, but fails to retrieve other searches such as spells or even races
It rubbish it only gave me links to places
Increasing Functionality
This was great while I needed it. Now that the compendium is mobile phone compatible, and with the inclusion of ads, I am uninstalling.
Lost a star for including ads in latest version. Unless there's going to be significant updates in the future it's unnecessary.
This program is fantastic! Made my life so much better!
As a dm, being able to look up stuff on the fly is awesome. Search feature allows me to quickly find solutions if i dont have the specific book handy
Update 1/20/15: no longer links to DDI account since the URL to access changed. Original review: Installed on both my phone (Samsung G3) and tablet (Nexus 7) and it works smoothly. Linking to my DDI account is smooth and I haven't had any issues with it throwing gibberish at me in either 3G or wi-fi usage. Please read through all of the description so you can see that you must have a separate DDI subscription to use this free software. Thanks for the time and effort!
