It's very good, especially for a free app. It finds as much or more than Andro Search free, and Andro hides many results unless you have paid version. I've done searches for an extension, like APK or MP4 and it finds all items on internal and SD card storage. Search Everything is fast, and even has a Sort option on the results. Ads are nonintrusive and barely noticeable most of the time. This is an update of my review done in July 2019. The app has improved since then Keep up the good work.
I have been looking for a file mgr/anything that could find certain files. Tried about a dozen that did not show all my files.. Finally this one did. Great so far thank you. UPDATE: I take away 5 and leave 1. This was listed under file managers. It found the files I needed after about a dozen others couldn't, but then it couldn't cut, copy, it paste them ( I needed to find them to copy them ) it did open them but I can do that in their default apps. I kind of wonder now what's this app for then?
Edit: still no suggestions incorporated. Original: Quite good. Needs few improvements: 1. After opening the app, the default focus should be on the search field. This would be more usey friendly and efficient. 2. There should be a 'cross' on the right side of the search field to remove the query. 3. Feedback option in the App is of no use. I had to type everything again in Gmail app.
Nothing this app can't find. To bad it's. Not able to do much with the found content. Being able to link it to a file explorer that works with this app. It's rejected all of my explorers I've attempted. And having ability to edit SD card contents. Thank you
The great thing about this app is that I can search not just your normal internal storage but I can also search your micro SD card if you have one installed in your phone or tablet. Those are really good job.
Idont do tech nor do i like location beeing so necessary for everything as well as google looking over our shoulder and telling us whats rite and wrong. I had parents for rhat n they did a good job. It chooses to delete or relocate photo n video. (I lost over 1000 photos of both my dead wife as long everything else) its very useful other then that. Just make parenting programes optional programs not manditory.but it is well maid
Thank you for adding 'Open Path' option in the context menu. Working well. It is the best local file search engine in 'Everything-family' upto date as the XDA Developers discontinued their 'Search Everything' program (does not support SD Card scanning after android 6.0). It would be better to have a Search Bar Widget like Google on Home Screen. Search algorithm is not as superior as the 'Everything' program in Windows. Take it as a positive criticism. Thank you.
File searching is very fast. Displaying hidden files also. Very good. But folder searching also must be included. Opening the path folder, sorting view options etc must be added. Aug.20: I can search and open folders now. Wonderful search app!! Why the icon is different after installing the app?
Excellent at searching for a single string but useless for multiple strings, therefore not scaleable. E. g. if a search for "epub" results in 5000 matches, it's impossible to add additional criteria to reduce the hits - it just reports "No results".
Pc version is useful. This one can't be customized at all. And according to the comment section, it can only search 1 word at a time. I was hoping it could find doublet files with it, but not possible. Anyways, the Windows version is highly recommended for pc users.
Believe me or not, this is the best app ever. I downloaded several app to search a specific, but none worked for me, as i installed this application, i was able to find many lost files but file name and file extension.
One thing i don't like is the search results are not automatically alphabetical order!! Its so annoying everytime i search i always press manually the sort a-z. Hope you update this one. Thanks. And please add scroll button at the side so that it can advance directly to the bottom of the results.
Hello developers. May you help on the following. The reindexing page is very slow. The reload page opens faster. May you help us by loading the reload page instead. Please make the app faster onces we open the app, it takes many minutes reindexing and loading. Help please. This app is very useful.
One of the reasons I prefer Android to iPhone is the fact that it has a proper file system that lets me organize information the way I like. Of course, a downside to that is I sometimes forget where files are. This app solves that problem and more making it a key tool for me.
Found files that file managers' search functions couldn't, and showed path. That's all I wanted. Reminds me of Windows' Everything search program. On The Fly algorithm is cool but ads aren't so only four stars.
Can't find the ringtones I downloaded or that I recorded on my new phone using this app. It worked better with my old phone. However it's not looking up things that I need now. If I can't get it to work soon, I will uninstall it and find another app to use. I am extremely disappointed in this app which used to be at a four or five level.
DOES WHAT YOU HOPE IT DOES! TYPE A KEYWORD OR A WHOLE SENTENCE OF THEM, FIND YOUR FILE! EASY!JOB DONE! I don't know what the review saying you can only use one single search word is talking about cos I just tested it and I'm keeping it installed as it works just like it's namesake in Windows! Indexes your files first so when u search u get instant results upon typing. I Don see how that can be improved upon and yet STILL there are complaints here!? I highly recommend this app so give it a try!
Seems to pull things up very quickly as if it's reading the file tables off the drives themselves. Would be nice if I could export the result list. I'd pay for that feature.
Absolutely useless does not even work. You look under settings and all it has is radius and feedback there are no settings you cannot find any files it is absolutely useless it doesn't do a damn thing
There are so many files on my phone, it was difficult to remember where certain ones are, but this app solves that problem quickly it's a great app
Very easy to use and quickly found hidden folders & files. Only problem was there is no way to copy and paste files into the hidden folders.
This is a must have app for every android user who wants to quickly access files from any location in their mobile device. Am So impressed.
This app was able to find the file I was sure I'd lost. I recommend it to anyone that knows you have that file but just can't locate it. Great app.

Useless. I downloaded this app to find file locations of apps, but it can't do that because it has no option to search hidden files.
Excellent file finder, easy to find by name or extension such as jpg, or MP3 etc. Then you can click/tap on a found file to open it in a handler app.
Bring option to filter hidden files. Lists so much unwanted hidden files. bring an ad free version also
this is very fast and finds every file on my tablet. i have 2 other file searchers, but thus is by far the easiest and fastest. if this is something you can use then look no further and try this now. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐'s
I don't think you understand you saved my life literally.🌷🍀 I was looking for a file that I thought was lost very important work and I actually found the copy of it and the location because I have thousands of files this app was really helpful I can't thank you enough for making it thank you so much for your great hard work
Works really well; even includes files in usb. One suggestion though, on your next update, I wish you'd include a feature similar to Samsung's My File where the app would include searches that that may include a space like "2018vacation .mp4" instead of just a single word. Otherwise, it's really really good. Also, wish you guys would allow the app to work in landscape view.
