Garbage app!! Does not have near the same functionality as the desktop app. You can select seats and get information, but you cannot use the tab to see photos of the aircraft interiors nor can you get overall details on seat pitch and other details in the information tab...they both simply do not work. I uninstalled this app. IT IS GARBAGE!!!
The app worked great in the past, but several bugs have appeared recently. Most recently, the output seems to be simply a mobile html output, that doesn't fit all the data on my screen. This renders the app currently useless. Fixes coming???
App used to work well but now it won't even show correct flight route when entered any of the three ways. Instead shows the same route and doesn't even show the right aircraft type anymore. All that works well is flight status, which you can get anywhere.
it is okay but glitchy since they got sold. press on a seat and it doesn't always give you information for the seat you pressed on. info and photos rarely work. it's fine, but not like it used to be. Update: info and photos never work in the app anymore. clearly not something they plan on changing.
Crashes when tapping date field. Making the app 100% useless. They should fix this app, and allow offline use (so you can research seat information while in airplane mode). Otherwise, what's the point? Might as well use the web page.
Loved this app until it got really buggy. Photos tab doesn't work and they have stopped updating the planes. Like I said before I loved this app because it provided a better user experience and interface over the others. Sad to see them forget about this good app.
As several folks have said: No ability to click on a seat for specific info. App says so at top of screen. Other things (flight# search etc.) works, but clunky. I'm guessing when they got bought "corporate" decided to let SeatGuru rot. Too bad, used them for years.
The website does not display properly (can't see the right side of the content) in Chrome (v69) so I tried this app. It simply displays the webpage in the app - with the same issues it has in Chrome.
This app/site used to be great! I submitted a support request. They replied back saying they are no longer updating the content to the site (and I assume the app as well) and are unable to provide support. If it was maintained, I'd probably rate it a 5
On my tablet the text boxes on the right hand side are half off the screen making them useless (except as some kind of word puzzle). Can't zoom out any further, nor rotate the screen. Back to the web site...
Unable to enlarge the map or click on any seats. Both info and photos tab do not work on the Samsung Note 8. This app was working fine last year - not sure what happened or exactly when it stopped working ☹
The seat map functionality seems to be completely broken. Clicking on a seat does nothing. Even clicking on the key no longer brings up the key. The app has become useless with these bugs.
I work in this field.and I use this app.its very useful. But still needs a lot .for ex. If you can highlight the seat facilities for each seat plan like infants seats and disabled passengers seats and all these features.like this the app would be perfect for using in the aviation work.
Exactly the same problems as using the website on mobile. Looks like this is because they've just wrapped the mobile website in an app container rather than developing a standalone app. Come on TripAdvisor, you're better than this, stop being lazy.
Used to be helpful. I think it used to show multiple seat configurations for flights that varied from time to time. Now, it shows 1, often wrong, seating chart.
Seems like this app has been abandoned, hasn't been updated since March of 2020, and crashes every time you try to enter information, which makes it completely nonfunctional.
It's a great app when it works. I was able to look up my flight, but when I click on a seat it gives me info on a totally different seat on the plane. I will click on seat 81A, and the info for seat 14B is displayed. This used to be an app that worked fine! What happened?
Used to work much better. Now, when i put in my flight, it returns all the airplanes that the carrier flies! Not just the one for my flight. So i need to know what type of airplane is being used? This app used to tell me that. Now disappointed.
Seems to have stopped giving the most useful information (seat width) . As a fat bloke I used to use this to find the best flights / seats that would be a decent size for me . Now there's no seat info at all on seat width or pitch - kinda nulling the point of the whe app.
The app just seems to be a search interface to the mobile site. I had to systematically click the seat map to find my seat which ended up being in the white space past the tail of the plane. It's gonna be a windy trip.
Reiterating previous reviews. Information isn't displayed properly in the app or in chrome. You can't display seat information either. Bad UI and experience.
Used to like the app, but it no longer works. Can't get photos, or other information to open anymore. The ONLY thing that works is the seat map.
It doesn't do much more than showing you a map of the airplane. You cannot zoom in, so it is very difficult to tap with your finger on the tiny seats. Also it's full of adverts.
Appears to be broken. It crashes when I go to select a date. I even tried clearing storage entirely. Same behavior.
Crashes everytime using search. You can't enter dates, then crashes. It's worthless, use web site.
The website is OK and the app is weak. The fact that if I switch between this app and my Delta app it resets the view and I have to re-find the aircraft type almost makes it unusable. Also, adding in a basic feature like setting a favorite airline would save a ton of time. Not to mention that several popular Delta aircraft layouts need to be updated.
