Uniquely Seattle, The New Rock 98.9 launched in spring of 2016 with a playlist developed for the Northwest from 90’s Grunge and Alternative to Hard Rock. You’ll hear stalwarts like AC/DC, Metallica and Led Zeppelin. A typical set of music could include Nirvana, Black Sabbath, Green Day and Seattle’s own Queensryche. The station is dedicated to music with 55 Minutes of Rock each hour.

Constantly drops out, have to keep restarting app. Contest rules change at any time. When I signed up, it said you had to have an 'all time' listening history of 98 hours to earn an entry for Temple of the Dog tickets. I was 15 hours away as of this morning, now they changed it to 98 hours in a month, as of now I only have 33 hours that will go towards that, and I have to keep listening. Other people will have the chance of getting 2 entries. That is BS.
