This is by far the worst app i have experienced. This is meant to be an app for security yet i can never use it when i actually need it. The error 170 is never ending and i need to be able to set the alarm and disarm remotely when travelling byt instead it will just give me an expected error or tell me another user is in the app. Will be investigating alternative security companies.
Terrible App. I am considering changing to another supplier as my mom uses Olarm without any problems, yet here I sit with error 145 and a logged complaint which takes 4 days to provide feedback. While on holiday I could only access my alarm on this app twice. I am home now and my alarm works fine, just this horrible app won't work. Useless. Time to search for new alarm company as I need app access for travelling.
WORST APP I have ever used. Biggest waste of money ever. It hardly works. Arming and disarming takes forever to do if it actually does happen. Really Frustrating
Not always working, and update on inconvenient times.like when I want access I have to wait for update to finish to disable alarm. By that time I could have being hijacked. Lot of times you need to 3-4 login. It does not login on first attempt. Cant change channel status. Disable one channel. Was working and now not. Sometimes you disarming the alarm and when you go in it triggered the alarm. It did show you disarmed on display. It looks like it did not reach the unit.
Arming and disarming on this app does not always work (it shows as unarmed, but when opening the door the alarm is set off because it was actually still armed). Very slow to open and load. The old app was much more user friendly and responsive (if I had a choice, I would have kept the old app...)
"Upcoming" SecureGuard update abandoned on most devices. Some are getting updates while most are still stuck on a buggy app where you have to wait so long to activate and deactivate the alarm and it's frustrating. Please actually inform everyone about when the rest of the users are getting the update. It's been months now!
You can basically just arm and disarm your alarm remotely. Anything more like bypassing zones is such a chore due to how slow and probably inefficient this apps code is. Constant timeouts are part and parcel of everyday use. If you need an example to see how it should be done, look at Olarm.
Are you not ashamed in promoting this app. We've been paying for this app since last year December. I think the technician has been out 11 times if not more. I was getting sms's every few minutes right through the night as this is located at our work premises. I'm at a point where we considering cancelling our services. One star is still being too kind. This app doesn't deserve a star.
What a useless app! Loads forever and shows alarm is still armed when not. You will struggle for hours to put your alarm on or off. Just loads continuously. @Fidelity ADT all my apps is up to date. Do yourself a favor and look at all the ratings. Problem is definitely not on my or your clients side. Get a better app!!!!
App works but there us issues that needs to be resolved. If a zone is bypassed and alarm was deactivated the app shows zone is still bypassed. But if alarm is armed zone shows bypassed on app but activates alarm. Also if app starts up. It gives a message of zone refresh fails. Otherwise app works fine
It is taking the wondering option away and give me control over my ADT alarm system.
U have downloaded the new app and I am struggling to set the alarm and to deactivate while in the house. This makes it difficult for me to set the security system. I question if this is as a result of my new phone but it doesn't seem to be.
Very bad pls dont use this app it does not work. You cant use this app the panel doesn't want to respond maybe I should report this to hello Peter
It's convenient coz you canarm or disarmremotely, but there is a delay in communication between it and the primary device. And when you try arm or disarm it tends to buffer a lot.
Not getting alerts since updated to the new version. Still getting alerts on second phone with old version installed. Why? Can I roll back to old version? 21.07.21. Update. Problem resolved. Thanks Joos for your support.
10+ times adt has had to come out and sort out this pathetic secure guard. It's rubbish. Don't get it
App is ridiculously slow and causes more frustration 5han anything else!
Bad app. Horrible configuration and setup, slow connection times, poor response times when setting and canceling alarm if you ever manage to connect. Too many time outs and refresher needed.
The app is all well and good, but it is slow to send commands to the control panel.
Don't get notifications telling me where the alarm was triggered
With regards to this feature that is apparently on the app: "- Remote bypass of zones – for when you need to give someone partial access to your property." There is no option to bypass a zone. If there is, please can you tell me how to access this feature??

Wow, I thought I was the only one who has a bad user experience with this app. It's shocking to see how many complaints are listed. Are you really proud of this app? It's basically useless and I can confirm all the other complaints listed. The app has so much potential. Unfortunately terrible development will be its downfall. Come one ADT, you can do better!
..this app is very frustrating, never connects online even if you're right there in the same room with the panel. Its a scam that we have to pay a monthly fee for this. Terrible service!
This app sucks! Been sitting for 2 hours trying to get onto the app but it won't connect to the device. Honestly a huge waste of money I am not impressed at all! Because of the stupid app I ended up hurting myself running to shut the alarm up. Fix this rubbish please!
Very good system can always monitor via app
The app works intermittently at best. Unable to arm, disarm or see what zones tripped the alarm. Renders the app useless.
Works well. 'Would be a great addition to allow a text export of all the alerts so one could record the history.
Worst app ever!!! The previous version worked really well but this is useless. Can you seriously do nothing to better this? It does not communicate with alarm pad and you can not arm or disarm. Not even the panic button works...
