Security & Antivirus Guard

You guys are on point with security. If I had any suggestions, it would be to include better, more detailed instructions when it comes to turning things on/off or allowing certain permissions, like accessibility- for people who aren't as familiar with how a smart phone works. I had to help my father install this and turn everything on for his phone. Other than that, excellent app. Thanks Sophos!

This app is trash. Zero% in it's stated job. In Accessibility InterceptX goes Off after a time on its own or on phone restart even after setting it on. The problem with this app is that it does not really do the job of ensuring intercept x has a persistent running status. The settings of intercept x is returned to initial state and you have to always set the phone app to do its job. Quite frustrating.

Free, no ads from one of the top in its industry. Will also explain in depth why some apps are low reputation. Plus with the watch dog compagnon app it's always on without an annoying notification on all the time. Have the paid version on desktop. Highly recommended

As an average end user, this app has a learning curve albeit minimal IF one has the PDF manual saved to Google drive and reefers to it often for the first week or two. **IMPORTANT** If using Files by Google and user has enabled Intercept X to run continually in background: Files may request you uninstall the above app citing 'no use, taking up space' do NOT uninstall THIS app as THIS app is the 'engine' making Intercept X run in background continually. You've been warned.🖖🍻

So simple yet a nice little touch to make sure you stay safe. I expected an icon, something to interact with or even permissions. But nope. Just a periodic check.and starts the antivirus suite up of it's not running.

I've first installed this app on my TCL smartphone with only one problem after a phone reboot or after exiting power saving mode l would have to manually restart the app .now I didn't let this discourage me this is by far the best antivirus protection I've had I installed it on another phone BLU view 1 without the problems I have it also on my tablet no problems so it appears to be less compatible with lower end phones .my advice is for the developer to work on compatibility issues

Odd. Appears in apps list but not in drawer. Not clear why one needs this if they already have Intercept X. It's apparent Sophos security products are for those who don't need hand-holding but that's okay as long as they protect as advertised.

Worst app. Every moment it's asking for allow it to run on background. From power management / battery saver option I granted permission but the app don't able to fetch the permission. Many other people also have that same problem. Update this app and fix the bug. I have to uninstall this app.

I like how Sophos is being thoughtful and creates another app to ensure protection. But 1. What if this watchdog app is turned off. And 2. I found my phone is a bit hotter and slower when installed this, so I will just stick with the other app that already has background running allowed.

If you use Sophos Mobile Security, you need to install THIS app from the Google Play store. This app validates and ensures the integrity of the Sophos Mobile Security app. In simple terms, it checks the Security app hasn't been compromised. This app won't show up as a useable program in your app list.

Wow this is one of the greatest apps I've ever used! It stands at the top of it's category bringing an unsurpassed level of security not thought possible for a free app. If you are serious about security and want the absolute best install it right now you wont be disappointed! Goes hand-in-hand with Sophos Intercept X

Fantastic. Better than the rest I've ever used. Try it. I would be surprised if you remove it. Try on pc as well but a sub is needed.

Is they any way to validate it's still running & kickstart it from inside Sophos interceptX?? if its been put into sleep/frozen/hibernation by app's like Superfreeze or SDMaid?? Rarther than having to uninstall/reinstall it to start it??

Best there is! This product has been used enterprise wide in our company for years, since 2010, and to me, the products are amongst the best...the reason why I won't hesitate to install Sophos protection on my phone.

Garbage! It scanned twice & the app icon just disappeared! Also, one should think that this app would really do anything but it doesn't. NOTE: A hallmark of a good app developer is that if they have a bad review, they RESPOND TO IT even if they know a problem exists, they let folks know they are doing so. Now it's time to UNINSTALL...

Minimal interaction needed. Very few false alerts. Works quietly behind the scenes.

nothing to complain about so far..love the security settings where u have to put ur. ode or print to open, so that's good if someone else has your phone & think they can sneak around w/it..

This seems to be a solid app. The Samsung apps/"element" on my phone cause a lot more trouble to me than they're worth! A blunt blurt but 🎯💯. -TheRealJenessa.

Installed without any issues. Very easy to setup. Works and performs perfectly.

Makes sure that the other app from Sophos keeps working. But sometimes it crashes none the less.

The setting "Ignore battery optimization" cannot be enabled for this app on a miui device on a permanent basis. Therefore it asks again and again after every bootup.

Hi sir i'm facing a problem with that when i installed this apk but it is not showing apk on my home screen / menu bar why this??? And i can't open it ,Here is no option for open.
