Updated latest version this morning because it's been running super slow the last few days, and said I needed the newer version. Doesn't work at all after the "update". Always seems to be unavailable at the time when I need it most, it's very frustrating. I've been banking with SSFCU for almost 15 years and I think it's time for a change. The actual in person banking experience has gone WAY down and if the online experience is no good what's the incentive to stay?
The app works fine. I don't have problems using it except for it can time-out too quickly while I am doing a transaction and looking up information from another source. If it times out, while I am doing transactions then I have to re-sign in and do them again. I have discussed with security service this short time the app will be active before it kicks you out. I guess the people who designed the time-out situation, don't actually use the app or their full service website themselves. Sad!
Negative about the app: The answer to my secret security question popped up on the words for my suggested auto complete. I don't want the security question or password to pop up, even web browsers prevent that, so I've uninstalled the app. Negative about the bank: sneaky added fees that you don't agree to first, they just change the policy and you have to catch it. The positive about the app: depositing checks with app is super convenient and easy, just snap a pic and enter the amount.
This app is always crashing or "unavailable" around the weirdest times of day. Not sure if it has anything to do with the bank itself but the app needs work. Plus sometimes it says I need to update to the newest version in order to use it but its already been up to date. so I have to uninstall in and reinstall it again in order to access my accounts. such a waste of time.
It used to be great but it started acting odd and it was having a lot of system updates which didn't allow me to log in. After the newest update it's saying my password is incorrect although I know I was entering it in right so I tried to change it but it wouldn't let me saying it didn't meet the criteria even though I made sure it did. I hope it can be fixed soon because it worked great before
The app had problems about not being available before, but since the new update, it is really terrible. Can't log in at all. I change my password, log in once, and then l have to reinstall and re-change my password just to log in again. Plus it doesn't support anything instant when it comes to venmo. Really not great.
Downloaded new version because it was recommended after the upgrade. Now my settings don't save, quick balance options don't save or work and neither does fingerprint login or the remember me option. I have to log in with username and password each time to check a balance. Lame... I'd rather have the older version back.
Before updating my app, it was just fine. Now after, its just a lot of BS. I've done everything from restarting my phone to uninstalling and reinstalling the app to log in but it keeps giving me the same BS from connection timing out, my user name already being registered and I need to use another, or I'm locked out and I need to unlock it. I can log in online through the bank's website but the app's being a huge @ss. I hope these problems get solved soon especially for Xmas shopping after bills
Fingerprint ID keeps requiring reset. Only works a few times before a message pops up telling me that "it appears fingerprint settings have been adjusted". Also, push notifications of withdrawals and deposits appear the next day instead of real time, which is useless for me. Other than that... It's ok.
It's great over all except when you get locked out after a update in which you need to change your passcode. That's all fine and dandy but since yesterday I did all that I needed to. It told me my account was unlocked but when I went to go log in I was locked out again. So I tried for a good hour yesterday redoing the unlock verifications and it was not having it. No amount of "your account is unlocked" was actually working. So I decided it was a glitch and would be fixed by today. It hasn't.
Most of the time I dont really have a problem opening it. But lately it has been extremely slow and wont even open. An if it does decide to try to open it gives me the completely wrong security questions. Which I have to call customer service an have then change it. It is a GIANT pain.
I can't access to my account after the last update. Update: After a few months of use, you cannot access to you account after 12am for me is really important because I worked nights, and the app keep logout my account every month or so and many times when I really need to check my balance really quick, definitely im moving to RBFCU i never had those issues with their app.
App stays on loading screen but won't open. Doesn't take me to username or password entry. After a few minutes it'll shut it out completely but won't let me report. I need to be able to check my account online. Please fix this. Aside from this I've had no issues and I've enjoyed using the app
App is horrible. It just freezes up. It used to work but updates have destroyed it. How can you run a bank and not have a simple working app. This is complete BS. I've had enough of the horrible service and faulty software they can never get right.
It is becoming increasingly frustrating over the past several years how often this app is non-functional. I try to check in and about 20-25% of the time my banking information is not accessible. This is not even close to a new issue either. SSFCU can and should strive to do much better in regards to online customer service.
The app is fine it's the bank I have issues with. They charge random fees every month. Two fees of $15 and they don't give any explanation of the fee. I understand the late fees that's on the person with the loan but they will charge fees no matter if you pay on time or not. I had both sometimes I would forget to pay and that's on me but the random fees are bs.I payed my car loan off with the pay off amount posted and they still charged me the $15 fee.So I had to send that $ to close the account
I dont know if it's the app or just the bank but they have done this to me twice now where they will show a payment go through and I'll have the money to cover it and then some how the date changes and I'll get hit with an over draft fee. its ridiculous at this point. this makes me want to close my account and I've been a member for 6 years
App. in general is user friendly, however lately, everytime I try to use it, I get a warning that the app is out of date, and that I need to find another. I reinstall it, and it works briefly, then I get that alert again. I don't know if they are revamping it, but it gets aggravating.
this app is absolutley rediculous!!! I've been trying to download this app for the sixth time since you "updated" this app!!! Before July 10, 2019 update i didn't have any issues with the app, I've tried everything and NOTHING is working!!!! WHY?? This is terrible!!! I can't access my accounts for almost a full week, wth did ya'll do??? PLEASE PLEASE FIX THIS CRAZYNESS NOW!!! I like many others I'm sure would really appreciate you fixing this major issue??? PLEASE AND THANKYOU!☺️
I couldn't get into my app yesterday because of a system update. So i waited until the time they said they would be done. Now it's giving the message:"Error Forbidden" What does that even mean???? There's an OK button but when tapped, just loads the same message block.
They forced everyone to update to an app that didn't work afterward. Now it works, but 'Remember Me' and other functions aren't working no matter how many times I prompt it to do so. The app was better and at least functional before all of this. Now it's just another worthless app taking up space on my phone. You're better off using their desktop site over this nonsense. Hopefully they will get this stuff fixed.
App used to be fine - bare bones but functional. After recent update I have to log in with password each time, even though I keep selecting and setting up the fingerprint option. At first I couldn't log in at all after the update as others have stated. I eventually got to a point that I could access the app but it's annoying as hell to not be able to use fingerprint. I have a Pixel 3a; specifically didn't get the 4 because I like the fingerprint reader so this is especially frustrating.
