SECURY'LIGHT

This LUTEC APP is designed for LUTEC SECURY’LIGHT camera systems with LED lights. Once you have connected the app with your device, you can watch the images and videos taken by the camera on your phone or any suitable device and includes two-way voice communication. See who visited your home whenever at anytime from anywhere.
The APP allows you to choose from three, adjustable, predefined presets: LOW, MIDDLE & HIGH security, you can also set the app to CUSTOM level, allowing you to fully control your light or lights. This includes adjusting the PIR sensor detection range, brightness (LUX level) time on duration, time off etc.
Message alerts can be sent your mobile device every time the camera or light detects movement, all of which can be recorded with the date and time. Plus, many more unique features.

The device has become more and more unreliable and difficult to control. You set the preferences in the app and it changes them to something different when you next go in to it. Also it will only turn the light on if the app is set to '🌞' mode, as such the light will activate day and night! And as for the 'notifications' we'll let's say they aren't very swift to say the least even on the same WiFi, let alone on 4G or 5G.

This app only works with one light, Don't buy a second and expect it to work. I have contacted security light email and exchange many emails, reset the light many times. The the app will not "add" the second light., Update 3weeks of emails back and forth, the app seems to have been updated. I can now connect my second light. Changed to 3 star's.

New update of app no longer connects to my camera. After resetting the camera I still have the same issue. Firmware update frozen when it was processing. I had no power cut during the update. I can see the green LED light on the device flashing. My internet connect is 100% fine. I have been advised to power off my light for a while by support which i had done. Made no difference.

Purchased a lutec light, installed the app on 2 phones, for some reason the settings didn't seem to synchronise on both phones, deleted the app, tried reinstalling and now the app will not run. If the app is sorted out I would love to give it 5stars. I have now been in contact with a very nice chap called David from Customer services who has pointed out where I was going wrong. The app is now working perfectly.

Very hard to connect the light to wifi through thr app. The app seems very unstable and having tried for many hours to get it working properly, I gave up and returned the light. I really wanted the light and app to work well, but it just didnt work for me. Then I saw many other reviews saying similar things....

Update: Thank you for getting back to me and sorting out the issue, it all works as it should now. You were very helpful. ------------------------- Since the latest Update, have been unable to access my camera. I have reset the unit and reloaded the app, to no avail. I now have a very expensive light on the wall. I am beginning to regret my purchase!

Dreadful. Spent nearly £200 on the camera. It connected for 10 seconds and now won't connect at all. It's going back to Homebase. Avoid. My WiFi speed is 80 mbps and the router is 1 foot away. I've reset the camera and reinstalled the app. Dreadful experience. Had to pay somebody to put it up too.

I can't download the app on to my galaxy s8 and it is frustrating. It keeps telling me download pending. Not sure where i can look for trouble shooting. It downloaded the app but it can't connect with the light. Can more them one phone connect to it ?? I will get a booster to strengthen the signal and try again.

Update: I gave this product 1 star because I had trouble with the set up. Apparently, it was another app that I need to download and it's not available in the app store. I read a review here and learned that I had to email tech support for the app to download. I did that and then I received an email with directions. It works finally. You should just make that app available to avoid the trouble.

Does not seem to send notifications to device. I have Samsung s10. I have allowed notifications and cannot set the app to send notifications. Can change other settings and update light. So everything else seems fine... this not working is frustrating If I could get notifications to work. Would be a lot higher stars

Playback freezes since the latest update. I have had the camera for around one year and has been working fine. Since the latest update the playback freezes and sometimes will not play at all. I have replaced the memory card but has made no difference.

it will not send alerts to phone! using on ESA model. I have setup phone to allow and app to send...but not even making attempt..everything else working fine...forums say previous to 2018 the app worked fine! please fix! I have wasted allot of money update- they got it working for a while.. now it stopped again! very frustrating

Brilliant product .... got abit frustrated as worked for a month really well then hit and miss. I got it cheap so remained patient and finally after 6months did a hard reset as in youtube video and its back to full working order. similar items are alot more expensive so stick with it . thanks to lutec for support. If the camera had wider angel it would be perfect.

Second light issue.... The second light is an ESA it's a poor quality picture with pictures breaking up and becoming pixelated, when engaging second camera through the app it takes time for it to appear sometimes doesn't appear at all with continuous connecting swirling annoyingly on the middle of the screen, My router is 10 metres approx away from second camera, reset several times. Really really poor Your exclamation has STILL not helped , what's this "wrong password" BS ? Buyers beware. 👎

Cannot share the app to a new device as there is no QR code available to scan on either of the devices I have connected. Also cannot find where the serial number is to add as Manual input. Support information, waste of time. I had to delete and reset the camera to get anywhere with this. App is awful. Then I see the response from the developer. Not something you should need to do everytime you want to share the camera. Come on developer, we pay a lot of money for these devices, least you can do is make the App usable.

It almost set itself up, done exactly as directed and everything went as beautifully as this HD picture i can watch 24/7. I think I'll have another. I Seriously dont know why everybody having trouble connecting. Couldnt have went any better.😁👍

Hi, i have a 1 unit of PERI that is working properly this few months, but apparently the unit connect to the app anymore, i tried to reset and set-up again but still no use it couldnt detect. i have a good router speed and even bought an extender, how you solve this problem

was easy to set up, wifi was automatically duplicated from my phone connection, i just had to add password. i have now connected 2 devices already and had the kids run out side to test the talk features :)

I really like to download the videos for a range of times, and it is easy to take videos off the ad card onto pc. That makes the product excellent.

Complete Rubbish, year long problems one after another!!! In reply to your response, I have continuously been in contact with you and you have not solved the issues! I recommend anyone who has continuously has the same ongoing issues to contact trading standards as I believe the product is not fit for the purpose inwhich it was intended! You need to stop keeping palming people off!

My Libra was working well for a month until we had a powercut the other week. Now I can no longer connect to the device. Have tried factory reset, app reinstall, tried apps on Android and Apple. Regretting this costly purchase :(

Lutec have now broke my unit while trying to go back to previous firmware update (Undocumented updates caused camera not to function as before, if known would not have updated) and so far have refused to replace unit. If you update your unit will be locked to their cloud system. Unable to access camera using IP address since latest Firmware update. Does not work any more with apps like Tinycam. Makes the unit useless now.
