• Better maps with more detail and topo graphics. The old maps are obsolete and you will be prompted one time to remove them. Don’t upgrade if you are on the trail right now, or have a sentimental attachment to the old hike files. :)
• We’re given the downloading of Hikes to the Android operating system. This should make for more reliable downloading.
• New Sedona Weather page. Poke the smiling sun on the main screen!
• Hike ratings and Vortex sites marked in the download screen.

This is an awesome app and totally work the purchase if you plan to check out more than 1 trail during your entire trip! The built in navigation to each of the 100 or so downloaded trailheads was so helpful for us to make an efficient point by point trip. Totally worth 5 stars however I put 4 for now because we did find one glitch on the app where when you select a trail, it brings up the information for the trail immediately above it on the list. Once this glitch is fixed I'll update to 5 star
I'm a front-end web developer, and I can attest that Jon provides the best customer service I've experienced in 20+ years in the field. The app itself is easy to use, accurate, comprehensive, and simply a brilliant idea to download the trails before you get into those canyons. Well done, sir!
Very limiting app. I'm a runner and just want a phone version of all Sedona trails on a map with my GPS dot. I want to be able to see the maps before downloading, and I want to be able to see multiple "hikes" at a time on a map. The map is the most important part of an app like this and it's an afterthought here. I don't care about all the text/descriptions, I just want a trail map!!
Horrible and i cant believe i bought it
Great app - especially if you're a new visitor to Sedona and looking to do some hiking. Pair this app with an area map from a visitor center or the chamber of commerce and you should be set. The two used together make finding your way around much easier . The app itself worked flawlessly on my Android phone and judging from the few hikes we took, their hike descriptions are very good. Highly recommended, and probably the cheapest thing you will purchase during your stay in Sedona. Happy trails to all.
I have used this excellent app twice while hiking in Sedona during two separate March Breaks. We are going to Sedona again this March so we will make use of it again. I would also recommend using it with an area map, Google Maps (you can download google maps onto your device so you don't need cellular access) or my favourite topo map app Gaia GPS. Again, you can download maps onto your device negating the need for cellular access.
Won't download hikes to tablet and email attempts to get support are blocked by APP. No phone support provided.
Made our time in Sedona much more relaxing, efficient, and fun by helping us to find the right hikes and feel confident that we wouldn't get lost driving there and while on the trail. App navigation is a bit unusual, and interface is not the slickest but that is part of its charm. A worthwhile investment.
Use this app whenever in Sedona. Nice to have never knew there were so many hiking options.
The app keeps freezing up after downloading one trail. I had to keep uninstalling and reinstalling. Very frustrating.
When I first tried to get maps saw elev profile or nothing be patient they are probably still downloading

Simple and informative
Some books and webpages like to obscure the names of the hikes to get you to buy before you find out where and what the hikes are. The website compliments the app and the app works without any network access, which is critical. The combination of this app and a topo map really helped make our Sedona hiking vacation a success.
This is the app you want! Following trails is easy with this genius app. It makes hiking in Sedona so much more enjoyable because you don't have to use a paper map. All the trail information is on my phone so it's easy to take with us. The trail descriptions and points of interest are not too wordy, they are 'just right' which allows you to concentrate on the beauty of Sedona. I mean, that's why you are hiking....to enjoy the beauty! Good job with this app. Highly recommend this one!
My family recently hit the trails and used this app to easily navigate the Sedona paths. We had never visited the area before and found this to be an excellent resour e.
This is an indispensable app for experienced and inexperienced hikers alike. I have personally hiked over a dozen trails around Sedona, and even though I am a seasoned hiker, I have had trouble trail - finding on many of these trails. Some of the issues include out of date trail books, poor trail signage, and unmarked trail intersections. This app keeps you right on the trail eliminating wasted time and much angst. This is the best $4.99 any Sedona hiker could ever spend!!
Really can't say to much since it locks up my phone every time I have tried to use it. Should have tried it before 15 minutes so I could get a refund.

I totally love this app. The trail descriptions and tips are very helpful and accurate. Having GPS guidance to trailheads and the locator to plot exactly where you are on the trail make getting lost either on the way to, or on the trail, highly unlikely. I don't usually pay for apps, but I'm glad I made an exception for this one!
