Galaxy s8+ installs and runs fine(minus screen sleep but setting on nm phone can fix that). This runs through and basically solves the questions with little to no animations. The answer key is in The back of the book already which lessens the need for this app. I dont want to say it's bad but I feel it could have been more than it is. I did uninstall because with the answer key this seems repetitive.
Downloaded, not sure why you need to access my photos and etc. Also, none of the books shown are what we have, even after it states on the front cover of our book we just bought to download app to see, hear, and read. Will buy the books, but want nothing to do with your app. Fix your issues, then maybe you would have more positive feedback from just about everyone that I read.
It is pretty horrible that you have to allow video, and photo access to an app to help kids learn, or it won't work. There is no reason for you to do recordings when you are supposed to be reading the words to a child to learn how to pronounce them. Shame on you for creating something that will not work unless you have access to record, and scan through a device's pictures and videos.
All this lets you do it see a pic of the object on the page in color... for example it opens a camera app and downloads a color pic of one of the pictures on the page... like an apple or ant. This is a huge waist of time and very disappointing, next time maybe have a real company help you so you don't face the same fate... don't bother its not worth the timea
It did scan the page but all it showed was objects visually solving every question so quickly that it took a moment for me to realize what it was doing. It doesn't explain how it's solving or any more detail than that. The app is unnecessary for teaching math. <3
Horrible experience, couldn't even use it because it keeps doing a loading screen. Everytime time the camera opens the loading screen pops up then goes away then comes back. Can't even use it.
I am a homeschooling grandma; I too was interested in using the supposed interactive capabilities (term used lightly) I didn't feel the need to approve the use of my phones pictures speaker etc. The books r great app leaves something to be totally desired. #nottheappfor mystudent
I was really excited about this app. But unfortunately, I couldn't even get it to work. It was taking forever to download the page. In the end I decided it was not worth the time. We do enjoy the books but the app not so much.
Zero stars! I bought two of the Pre K-K books, downloaded the app. Neither of the two books I bought are in the library! Could you please add Alphabet preschool workbook & Colors & Shapes preschool workbook!! So frustrating & disappointing! I will update my review after they are added!
Great idea just not quite hitting the mark. Scans page quickly but the voice sounds horrible. I can barely make out what he is saying.
Since I'm not permitted to give zero stars I gave 1. None of the books we have are in the app even though all the books reference the same app. Only books included are the ones shown in the preview screen shot.
Uninstalled the app. When I scanned a page it kicked me out; I had attempted several times. VERY frustrating and not helpful.
Does seem to work in a way that would help a child or an adult. Reads random object from the page with no examples or assistance.
downloaded the app and it doesn't do anything when you select back or library. I wanted to see what the app did but it only let me select which book I was reading and the camera loads up but doesn't scan . currently using a galaxy s9+
Can not use app without granting permission to access photos and record. Unnecessary. We will stick to the books.
This app doesnt have all of the books.... We have 2 different books that say to download the app& neither are on the app. Its totally useless. The books themselves are alright but the app sucks.
Didn't work at all. Stuck on loading and then just goes to black. From the other reviews sounds like my kids aren't missing out though.
The first four pages di not have icons. The alphabet is on those pages. How are you to know how to pronounce those without voice? This is awful for someone trying to learn Spanish. I uninstalled it within 15 minutes.
This does not work with our see hear read books. The library is very limited.

Wish it could scam the whole book for beginners and kids
newer phone (android 9 pie) no problem, newer tablet (android 8) works but may "not be optimized for your device". older tablet (too old to run android above 4.4), same optimization warning - no luck. it will find the page, go to downloading but then it seems that Unity crashes and doesn't display anything. I suggest being more clear about the app's system requirements! the app's features and content, that's still to be seen. as far as AR, I'm not impressed but it's for kids not for IT folks.
