See Jane Go

Finally, a ride-hail option designed with women in mind. See Jane Go, now available in Orange County, CA, offers a women-driving-women trusted alternative to taxi and other rideshare apps, such as Uber and Lyft. (Because we think getting into cars with strange men should be reserved only for online dating.) You’re just one polished fingernail tap away from having a fabulous female take you to your destination. Whether you’re going to work or to work out, you’ve got a trusted gal pal to get you there. Had a martini too many? We’ve got you covered. Car in the shop? No problem. Whatever your reason, we’ll get you where you’re going because we love helping women move forward in style. Let your driver know if you want to chat, listen to music or just enjoy your ride in silence – she wants you to be comfy.
Launching in Orange County, CA. Other areas coming soon!
- Driving on Purpose. With every ride you take we’ll contribute to some great charitable causes that help women everywhere.
- Dude Alert – you can bring a man along for the ride as long as he’s accompanied by you at all times (lucky him!)

Cant even get a ride. And they are always so far away. It's annoying. You won't ever be competitive to lyft or uber if you can't offer the basic services you're trying to make money from. Always.some error message..always drivers no less than 20 minutes away.

Im excited to drive for them.

Safety will always come first. I'd much rather pay pennies more knowing I'll arrive at my destination without the possibility of being groped or possibly something worse.

I can't access the app at all. Everytime I try it freezes. Only reason I gave it a 3 is because a friend told me it was good.

Cant wait to drive for this company

While this is still a start up, having only begun in 9/16, they have grown so much so far! They are constantly improving their app to fix their bugs. They both want and need to hear what working and not from folks so they can make it better. As a driver, my passengers are so very grateful for this safe option for them and everyone has been excited to be a part of this from the ground up. It's so great! The average wait time for a ride is between 10-30 mins due to lack of drivers on the road, but that will only continue to improve. Save time and Pre Schedule your rides right in the app! Love, love, love this app and the company.

Its too expensive way to expensive

It's a great idea but it's obviously still in beta form. It's really annoying that I have to login every time I've used it. And every time I've tried to hail a ride, the response time was too long, which is shocking because I live in Orange County, CA, where the app was founded and is most active. I'll still try to support and use See Jane Go just to break up the rideshare monopoly Uber has, but it really needs to step up its game if it wants to compete with Uber and Lyft.

I love Jane but the app really needs fixing.

I like the idea of this app But it's not very reliable I'm guessing there's not many drivers in my area that's a "Jane driver". It's either I gotta wait for along time for a ride or they always ended up canceling me at the last minute after waiting for a long time.

They are pretty good they have a few technical difficulties they have to work out but other than that pretty good

I really love the idea but the app doesn't work. It malfunctions regularly and is difficult to request rides. The app needs a lot of work still. I hope it gets up to par because I would rather have female drivers guaranteed.

Love the concept but the app is seriously lacking and needs a LOT of work. I get notifications that I have a ride request (as a driver) but my screen doesn't show anything for me to accept or not. Very frustrated! :(

Really great my wife and daughters can be safe!

Their app is new and in beta stages, but they are working hard to deliver a safe, fast and secure way for women who usually would never be able to take a ride out of fear, jealous partners or travelling with children. The company is only 3 months old, so constructive criticism concerning the app from females would probably be rewarded. They also have an office you can call to assist scheduling rides, drivers and feedback to a human gear to help! UBER AND LYFT can't offer me any of those things.

I havent used it to request a ride yet so this is based on me trying to set up my account. The main problem I have with this app is that in order to change your settings, you have to go in to a browser and do it. Doesn't that defeat the app aspect of this? Also, Little things like entering your postal code is glitchy and not being able to to log in through fb or Google is a little cumbersome.

What a great job for woman

Van. F. Nov 10, 2016

guys need to understand this app isn't aiming to discriminate but give women an option to ride with a female all the time. it makes us as women feel more safe and comfortable. you men that are complaining about female riders only and what now, you are not a women therefore you don't understand what it feels like for us. respect the fact that this is a great resource to young women like myself. please don't ruin this app with your negativity and complaining.

The guys that whine about the unfairness of this service are the creeps that need to be avoided! It isn't unfair--it's actually pretty sad that it came down to this. Ya'll ever read the news? Did your feelings get hurt because women are geniunely concerned for their safety? Get over yourselves.

A Safe Option

I love the idea, but i have to be honest that the app needs tweaking. It'll be hard to use if it keeps malfunctioning

Even though John drives safely, is a professional (with a law enforcement background), has all the respect for women and men, you're telling me he can't drive as a partner for this company????? 😢😢😢😢
