According to CBT models, negative self talk – individuals’ interpretations of the self, others and the world - maintain psychological difficulties such as depression, low mood and maladaptive behaviours.

DO I SUFFER FROM DEPRESSION? TESTING YOUR DEPRESSION LEVEL
We all sometimes want to know how our situation compares to others and where we are located on the graph. In GG Depression, we introduce an intuitive and quick way for self evaluation - the Assessment level. Please note that the assessment is just a guide designed for personal feedback as well as mean for our system to personalise content based on the results. The assessment test should NOT be used as medical/psychological advice.

HOW DO I PREVENT DEPRESSIVE THOUGHTS?
The foundations of healthy thinking and self-talk are built upon beliefs. Our beliefs have the potential to bias and affect our ability to deal with daily situations. For example, if I believe that "My choices have to be prefect", I won't be able to live up to these expectations. My confidence will decrease, my mood will become low, and depressive thoughts will take over.

BELIEFS AND SELF TALK
Beliefs and self talk are interrelated. Once we learn to embrace healthier and more adaptive self-talk, it can change our beliefs and help us get rid of the ones that negatively affect our confidence and self esteem.

IS THIS APP SIMILAR TO PSYCHOLOGICAL THERAPY?
Our app platform is not designed to be used as a therapy or treatment, however:
1. It is being used by CBT therapists as a complementing tool.
2. It helps in maintaining self esteem during or after therapy.
3. It is found to relieve symptoms of anxiety, worries, obsessions and more.

STATEMENTS (OR THOUGHTS)
The basic task in the app is simple - you will be presented with thoughts. If the thought promotes negative self talk - throw it away by dragging it on-screen. If the thought promotes positive or neutral thinking, accept it by dragging it towards you.
The more we train, the more automatic this process becomes.

HOW MUCH SHOULD I TRAIN EACH DAY?
To feel better and improve your thinking, start today! GG Apps are designed to be most effective in short training sessions. You are advised to complete up to 3 levels per day, which should only take between 2-4 minutes.

LEVELS AND TOPICS
The app's many topics and themes are broken down into more than 40 levels. Each level has a pool of self talk statements (or thoughts).
The topics include: belief in change, self criticism, negative thinking, hopelessness, helplessness, positive boost, being active, loneliness, feelings, self blame, comparing, perfectionism, emotions, social fears, fear of abandonment, trusting and more.

I find this app useful: it asks you what your mood is and then tries to tailor statements to where you are. The statements are a good balance of constructive positivity without sounding like glib motivational posters. Unfortunatly, lately the app just keeps taking me to the daily assement over and over. I'm not sure how far you can advance without a subscription, I am still in the same section after a month. That said, I still rec this app, it's subtle but it works.

works very subtly but surely to reduce negative thoughts and increase more productive thinking. use it consistently and follow the instructions for best results. i noticed challenges to my thinking in the first several weeks but over a few months i have noticed a noticeable shift. recommend.

Fatal application flaw - second launch just displays an empty solid green screen that does nothing no matter how long I wait. Close process, relaunch, same thing. It's literally unusable on my Galaxy Note 4
