Sell on Etsy

Really love this app, it's great for sale notifications and dispatching. However, there is a glitch on the shipping and etsy often swaps my pricing around meaning I have to send items at a huge deficit to me; I would love this to be fixed! I would also like to be able to cancel orders from the app and issue partial refunds instead of using the desktop version. All in a great wee app, just needing some adjustments.

Overall it's a good app. It makes listing easy, sales and messages show up as notifications, you can easily view traffic through your shop... The downside is that you can't do anything for shipping out an order! You can "mark as shipped" but you can't print labels or enter any info. Then when working on the actual website from my phone (which I always do) it constantly wants to redirect me to the app. It's decent but doesn't eliminate the need to use the site which one would think is the idea.

It's just ok. It's missing a lot that you can do in the site for listings. For example, I can't choose a digital listing for a product or upload files. It's also flawed when it comes to alerting you of messages and when someone purchases, sometimes not coming in for hours after, yet they stat you on how quickly you respond or get orders out. I can't tell you how many times I get an alert 4 hours later for a message. It's in desperate need for an update, esp since they take 6.5% of sales now.

I had this app for over a year and now all of a sudden I wasn't getting my notifications, thus missing sales. Then it stopped altogether and kept saying, uh-oh, something went wrong, try again later. Couldn't get past this for two days. Uninstalled and reinstalled and can't get past sign on. It keeps saying it sent me a security code, but no could to be found. Tried this numerous times, still can't get into my shop through this app. Only desktop, which runs great, but need to be be mobile.😥

At first quite easy to create and post your items. However I've been having difficulties with opening amy part of the app such as finances, my account, shop as it just comes up with 'uh oh!', so I'm not able to amend any of my items and cannot go through the finance hub even though I'm being sent emails saying I have to pay for my ad space. As I can't even see any views going up on my items I don't even know if they are being advertised even though I'm paying for them to be advertised.

I've used my correct login info repeatedly (yes I confirmed) and reset my password. It gives an error when trying to login using Google. I had to make an entirely new account to access the app at all. Editing shipping profiles is useless, because it will give an error for an "invalid zip code", but there was no option to provide a zip code on the "create shipping profile" form. At this point it's easier to just edit listings from my browser, because this is just sad.

Great, but critical flaw. With the app you can only do flat rate shipping. This makes shipping internationally impossible. Calculated shipping is only available on the desktop. However using the desktop site is not nearly as streamlined as the app. Also, my pictures are all on my phone. I am aware I can use the desktop site on my phone, but again it is not easy, especially on a very small screen. This has been an issue for many years and it's ridiculous that it hasn't been fixed. Unacceptable!

Great app... When it actually works... Seems like more often than not I get the "Oops...Something went wrong" screen. I used to do most of my work in this app, but now I have to go through my computer which makes listing and updating a huge hassle. I take most of the pictures on my phone, so having to go to my cloud account, save, refine, post...just adds a lot of unnecessary steps that the app should work to alleviate. Too bad...

Downloaded this to hopefully make managing my Etsy shop on my phone easier and being able to do it on the go. I wouldn't waste the time with it unless it's just basic things you'd like to do. Tried posting a listing today, it was impossible to select the same shipping feature I already have saved on the website, wouldn't allow me to select free shipping, doesn't allow you to attach a video, and I have free listings but still wanted to charge me a fee to post..... Super inconvenient!!

Still terrible. Downgrading to one star. Terrible UI with ambiguous messages and instructions. For instance, "Finish Later" implies you're saving a work in progress. Nope. Deleted forever. Also, won't let you save a draft listing without a "Shipping Profile", but doesn't recognize any existing shipping profile. And not finally (as they can hire me if they want this awful app actually fixed), but you can't do fundamental image editing in the app. Ridiculous for 2012, much more so for 2022.

This Sell on Etsy app hasn't been update since Nov 21 2021. In the 2 years I've been using it, there have been NO substantial changes that I can tell - little to no fixes, enhancements, upgrades, nothing. Now there is page auto-refresh issue where the page jumps to top while typing in the description text box. OMG, this is insane!! Beyond frustrating!! Previous: Bad->Limited shipping profile options using the app; shipping profiles setup via the web doesn't sync w/ the app. A PAIN in the fanny!

Please allow sellers to use a past date to mark their orders as "shipped". Sometimes, we dont the have time or we forget to mark the item as shipped on the actual day it was shipped. So if we can go back on the calendar and choose the correct date that would be awesome, so that it doesnt look like we shipped the item late. Other than this issue, I love the app. It helps me to stay organized and manage my shop well.

Its relatively easy to find your way around the app, although there are still some things that I haven't figured out, but all in all a good experience. Note - if you're adding new listings use the web page as the app doesn't offer the same options to add certain things to listings e.g. personalisation etc.

What's going on, Etsy? This app is a headache to navigate through when it's working. I've had to delete and reinstall several times. After this last reinstall, every time I open it, it says something went wrong. Can you guys please fix all the bugs and update the app so the features on the app can match the features on the site?

I run my biz from here and as much as I love it there seems to be a few issues that need fixing. I do a lot of custom listing but more than half the time it says I can't make a peivate listing for this person. It's really frustrating as it means I need to put a customer's listing up in my shop for all to see. The other thing is when I have a return customer I'm not able to see what they have brought in the past without messaging them first.

Sell on Etsy is junk/trash. Tried for 2 hours to add a listing from my phone. I kept getting an error message about my shipping settings. I tried troubleshooting using some steps I found online but got no where. Finally found a reddit post where people mentioned the same thing is happening to them and it's been months of frustration and no resolution. My experience so far is disappointing. I expect better.

Unable to log in. I tried changing my password and was still unable to log in through the app with a new password. I also use to have an account with a different email which I deleted, and the app tells me that the email is still in usage. There has been no response from support, yet. Also, there seems to be a weird interface between the etsy buyer app and the etsy seller app that is confusing and glitchy. I will be in one app and be transferred to the other without warning or meaning to switch.

I have downloaded thos app more than twice. I go to sign in, and it tells me incorrect password. I request resets (plural). New passwords. Nope. Why on earth once in you have to re-enter a password to sell. Frustrating! The fingerprint thing only comes on once, then need to exit and repeat. Trying to do my 1st sell but this is not easy.

Have attempted to log on to the app for 3 weeks, and am like so many others getting a message saying incorrect password. The password is not wrong (works on every other log in option for etsy). Even created a second account to get around the bug, but get the same message. Have reached out to etsy support, but keep getting sent in a loop of generic help desk messages, so posting this to help gain momentum for resolving the issue.

Lost Changes...If you make changes, specifically to variations, they never save, when you hit save, it pends and seems complete, but never saves, hit save again, same thing. So many lost listings and changes. "Wait! This listing has unsaved changes. I.e. variation Images. Also the images in the listings are shown cropped. So you can never be sure how they look to your shoppers unless you go into the shopper app, search for your store (bc you cant favorite your own store. Errors Galore

Very convenient for uploading product photos from your phone. But! the app doesnt import your shipping profiles from the desktop version. I have 2 different shipping profiles on the desktop app, but the phone app tells me they dont exist, and I have to make a new one from scratch. Also, you can't save drafts or create listings without making them available. So if I wanted to make a draft of a product and save it for later when I can input the correct shipping profile, I can't do that on the app.

Makes it really easy to see an order is waiting for processing. Without having to check emails and the website. Easy to use and all in one place! I only wish the notification of an order made went away once it's fulfilled. It zeros out each month.. could be I need to just fiddle around more with buttons. But all in all simple to use and makes it easier for sure.

Recently downloaded this app, thinking it would help me manage my business easier. I was wrong, as I can't even get past the login screen without errors. I initially thought my phone was out of service or something similar, but after a few days nothing has changed. I've restarted the app, redownloaded it, restarted my phone etc. nothing seems to fix it. Very disappointed.

I miss the old app that allowed to you sell in person versus the new app that makes you sync to the square app. It complicates things and slows down the process. Your sales do not show up in etsy until the end of the day which does not show an accurate representation of your quatities. Someone could purchase something that is already sold. Other than that, the app is great. I would also like to offer automatic payment subscriptions as well.

I use this app multiple times a day. I find it handy but... it needs a real update. Added features like video uploading. I'd like to send more than 3 photos to a customer in messages, and upload them all at once. The listings tab shows items in drafts that are no longer drafts. Just needs a thorough review and update.

I keep getting repeat notifications for the same order throughout the day. I click on the notification and then close it out. Hours later I receive it again. And this happens over and over. Please fix this glitch, it's really annoying and makes the app unreliable. It used to work perfectly, but now it's gone bonkers with repeat notifications.

This app is severly limited in it's function. Not all settings needed to run your shop are even on the app. For instance, Need to upload the video Etsy pushes you to use? Can't do it here. So if you use your phone to record like most people, you can't upload directly. So many basic settings missing that it's more of a pain to see what the app will even allow you to do.
