2. Review Cart and decide if you want to remove any items.
3. Hit checkout on Cart Page.
4. Check out and print your free shipping label out from your computer.
We send payment via Check or Paypal once books are received.

quick, reliable I've sold books via the Sell Back Your Books app twice in the last month. Both experiences have been quick and easy. I was given a fair price on my books, shipping is free and I was able to schedule a pickup so it wasn't even necessary to drop them off somewhere. My PayPal account was credited for the full amount within 14 days of shipment each time. I highly recommend the app. EditDelete Share
I love the concept of the app. I was curious if a book is scanned and not found, I think it would be a nice feature if we could manually enter it into the app to log with a cover photo of the book and the barcode, someone can then research it.
I had to uninstall it. The business itself is fine, but the app has a long way to go. Worked well the first couple times, but became unresponsive and had to quit/restart. Threw an error about being unable to connect to the server, which made my phone go black and lock up. Also, there doesn't seem to be a way to remove items from cart in the app. I had to sign in on a browser to do that. It'll automatically add items you scan, but no removal option.
App sucks! Created an account (on the website because the app wouldn't work!) after scanning all my books so I can send them off to get money. Says no email by that name. Try to make a new account, says that email is already taken. I reset my password, still no luck. I put in my PayPal email to get paid, says email is wrong. Put in my wife's. Said hers is wrong too...I guess I won't be getting any money after doing all that work to scan all these books! Total waste of time and effort ðŸ˜
No problems here. The scanner doesn't take a snapshot, you need to slowly move the scanner over the barcode in one direction. They accepted the majority of the books I scanned, which was more than other book buyers. I had a question after I shipped the books and heard back the next business day. I received payment 6 days after shipping.
Barcode scanner is horrible and takes forever to scan a book, the whole reason to use the app, quicker to type in manually which is a hassle and pointless to do a phone, might as well just use the computer.
This app works just fine but they are very hit and miss when processing your order. They get ISBN numbers wrong and claim you sent them the wrong book and once returned, you discover the book was correct all along but all the sudden they are "no longer buying this book." Use at your own risk.
I'm giving 5 stars because the customer service is very efficient, helpful, and friendly. I would recommend contacting them via Facebook messenger. I've reached out to many secondhand bookstores, this company actually accepts more books than others. Would definitely recommend!
Smooth process! Scan your books, create a (free) shipping label, pack everything up and drop off at mail carrier. get a check in the mail. perfect! I got between $0.12 and $3 per book. I sold mostly self help/non fiction and none were rejected. Turnaround time was less than 2 weeks.
Almost every book I scan sends back a message that says something like "...we are not buying this title at this time..." (I can't think of the exact phrase they use, but it means they will not buy the book) & those that they will buy are not worth the effort of scanning them because anything that they offer more than $1 for is less than half of what I'm offered by several of their competitors... They need to step up their game if they want to stand a chance against the competition.
Legit. I was a leery bc of the low rating & bad reviews. I decided to give it a try anyway. Like someone else, I had issues creating an account in the app (won't work). I went on my computer & created an account there. I contacted support & they took over a week to respond back. I had to manually enter the ISBN numbers of 20+ books on the website (very inconvenient). I shipped off the books & prayed. They received my shipment on the 19th & 4 days later, I received the exact quoted payment. 😊
I have emailed repeatedly about my order that you recieved last week. It now says that the payment has been issued. Issued where??? Not in my paypal that's for sure. I did get someone to email me back yesterday but as soon as I kept asking where my money went they stopped replying. I feel like I'm begging for my own money! You have your books and I want my money. It's $10.21 not a million dollars people. I use this app regularly. So you see how they treat ppl. No loyalty in this app. Fix it!!
This newest version gives a connection error problem before we even get to use the app. When we click ok to acknowledge the error, the app closes. Previous versions were great!
First off I was like heck yea to the thought of The app because I have thousands of perfect condition great books. Then scanner hardly works u got to type in number of book for a crappie 17 cent I scanned 30 books 4 where found for my offer of 49cent then u got to reach 7.50 to proceed yall better have over 1k books or u will not reach there rip off of 7.50 wish I didn't have to even click a star this apps only good thing is the idea of being able to sale a book I'll send mind to Amazon
Barcode scanner is very bad. Even when it does work the app will lists a price for the book (usually under 20 cents) but doesn't actually add the book to the cart making it impossible to sell.
Complete waste of time. Scanned items packaged them, created account. When came time to complete cart, would not let me log in to app. My info works on website but not app. Reset password numerous times. When try to create new account says email already registered but app will not let me log in. Can access website using same info
Giving 4 only bc I've barely started to use it and need to find out more, but I think it's way better than the other apps so far! Easy to scan, quickly gives value.
Junk. App doesn't work. Would never let me create account. Says "No internet connection" but I did have internet. Says "something went wrong" when trying to scan. Waste of time.
wanted to give me 12 cents for a $30 book, perfect condition. another 18 cents for a $50 book. id of taken 10%, which is fair. but the people of this app are crooks apparently. also a lot of books were not even available for selling.
I followed all the instructions (scanned in my books, packed them up, printed my shipping label, and shipped my books with UPS) Weeks later, the order still says "order not received". That's total BS. Don't use this company-it's a scam!
horrible the scan doesn't work had to manually type in every book only to be told not buying. i gave up don't believe they are really buying anything . wish I had read the reviews before I wasted my time
My paypal account wouldnt link but usually this program is awesome i just have a new paypal so some issues there. Contacted support and was answered and assisted very quickly.
Smooth process I had no problems.....I scanned my books, printed out the shipping label and sent them off. I received 154.00 dollars (I sent in mostly textbooks from college) in my PayPal acct. In about a week or ten days.
app works ok however do not send your books to them if you need money anytime soon. mine took almost 3 weeks to have them pay me and the check is still in the mail.
Easy to use and the staff is very informable and I truly get questions answered quickly. In a matter of moments!
I have checked over 23 book. Not one of them were bought. This is a book selling app and they should at least buy a book
DONT USE THIS SERVICE 0 Star if possible. This service is the worst they tell you a quoted price but if the quality is not new they dont want it and will find a way to charge you to get the books back. The site itself is shady with some spelling errors and it refuses to connect to your paypal. Absolutely terrible experience. I recommend using the service that Chegg recommends on there site.
it wont let me scan, it wont let me log in, and most of the time the app shuts down....😬if your looking for a disappointment here you go
they are out there giving my text books 20 CENTS???? like ok i was expecting it to be lower than the usual price but 20 cents????? really??????? im hollering back to ebay i guess
No doubt, in my opinion, The best way to go. Has always contacted me via my Gmail and messenger for shipping details. Have more then 6 full boxes in less then 2 months. Have been able to add on to orders and also subtract books from my orders that I forgot to pack. The movies they buy back program is on point to. The worst is,,,,they only buy "1" copy of that title. Don't matter, They are the " go to on buying back your Books, videos, ect.
