semperVidLinks (free)

I used SemperVidLinks to easily watch YouTube videos through BubbleUpNP. (Share the video with this app and send it to your DLNA app.) BubbleUpNP now natively supports YouTube links, however, but I'll keep this in mind for anything else that comes up.

EDIT: although I am going to leave my previous post below, this app has since improved and deserves a better rating (there is always room for improvement so 5 stars are unlikely from me) started working again after figuring it out on my own (clearing the default app, uninstall sempervid, then set the preferences again to launch default app - this time round it successfully found bubbleupnp and streamed to my tv) Previous post (if you have a similar issue try as I did above): Used to work perfectly on my note 2 without any problems now doesn't work at all on my Samsung S5 - in fact even scrolling to sempervid in the "play to/share with" option in youtube crashes youtube altogether whilst if I get the app open it fails to correctly associate with bubble and crashes again. Then after I post a comment here saying as much, it gets deleted, not helpful, don't get me wrong; when it works it's brilliant, but if it doesn't work once then it never will... A fix would be appreciated instead of just ignoring and/or deleting user's comments

Great app, suggest you open utube vids with semper first if having trouble with bubbleupnp, this solved my problem.

Doesn't work. No matter what URL you enter, you end up with "no result". Without the result the app is pointless. Worked for YouTube, failed for dailymotion. I can send directly from YouTube to upnp, not from dailymotion, and the missing functionality isn't helping as specified.

Some youtube videos,like vevo videos,don't work anymore after update, pls fix this. It was perfect before!

Never found another like it well done developers streaming Internet videos to TV couldn't be easier and the options are superb

Copy URL of YouTube video then open this app to paste will prompt to play using any of your video players !!! Slick way to watch YouTube using MX Player which allows you to screen lock to save battery

Great when standard function dosnt work. Gteat when pared with bubble upnp

Solved my issue of playing dailymotion videos to smart TV.

E.g. vevo videos don't work anymore? Works after switching Renderer from AVR to TV.

Turns the idiot box into something quite useful!

I deleted my previous comment and increased my rating from 3 to 5 as promised. But wow, size increased from 100kb to 10mb (because of Python?). Who cares it works now. Thanks a million.

Ability to select video quality at runtime is lost. Really need that back.

Ratings are increased as dailymotion videos are started working but 3 out of 8 times it crashed the app. Hopefully it will get fixed soon...

It's a good streaming app, but I find with music videos on YouTube I get the "cannot find mime-type" error. Any chance we can get a fix? Otherwise this is a great little app.

This has got to be one of the most useful apps on my phone! Allows me to watch our Dowland with other apps easily. :)

Any chance for this to support live streams via youtube? Also can you make it possible to skip the quality window. Make it pro option, I don't care, just make it.

Always get "cannot get mime type" on bubbleupnp.

Works great with Bubble UPnP and ADM but needs Multi-tasking/accept multiple links at same time

Must have app if you own a smart TV. Some great feature, I love the ability to queue YouTube videos.

Works well with YouTube, but not so with Vimeo. Not tried it with anything else... But it would be really cool if Vimeo worked.
