It does work. I sent a word doc to , pdf and opened via this app in kindle. Without it it would have encountered an error. I am impressed because i didn't even know it was possible to get what was originally a word doc opened in kindle so 4 stars. Only thing is is doesn't save the file in my kindle library. I have to repeat same process if I want to open the booklet in kindle
I couldn't get anything to transfer to either of my kindle devices. It only allows really small files. Considering most ebooks aren't large files to begin with, those were all too big. I advise setting up the email features instead, you just attach the file and send it to the kindle email address.
I tried to send one article and reached my limit. There was an ad interjected in every attempt to send an article. It should be called push to pay. It's a poor way for Amazon to treat kindle users. I love my kindle but hate how Amazon continuously wings my neck for money. I would give it zero stars if I could.
I love this app for it's ability to take my web serial chapters and get them on my kindle. I rated it 4 stars because it turns every instance of two lowercase L's and turns them into one lowercase L. It makes for funny reading. Otherwise, I love it and am super grateful to the developer.
Good app for sending articles and documents to kindle. But ads and monthly limit of sending articles to kindle is a little bit disruptive. Two in-app purchase plans are confusing.
I like this overall for the ease of use, however, 1 thing bugs me. Articles don't include the byline or name of the website they are from. I send a few articles at a time to my Kindle, and read them later. I don't remember who the author is, and it's nice to know. That is really my only gripe.
Works great: it creates an actual Kindle file, not just a pdf so the layout and text is like a book. Could save a step by sending the email automatically instead of opening the mail app. It would also be nice to tell if I've already sent an item before. Found a few bugs: 1. sharing directly sometimes doesn't work, I have to copy and paste the link instead. 2. The big + button gets in the way of the send arrow if you have a long list of items.
This is really tidy app. The UI is little difficult to manoeuvre in the first attempt and the speed is not exactly supersonic. But, the job is cleanly done. I do miss the ease of not having to access any email client in the sending process. It very seriously destroys the flow. My last point: the size. Agreeably, ten megabytes is not a huge number. It still is large for an intermediary client. This app still is pretty cool and best of all in working condition.
Works sometimes. Not the best UX design, and not the most reliable.. even if you pay the full price. Since paying for the full experience of this app, i've learned that if you log into your Amazon account and find your kindle account in the settings, you can then find your "kindle email address". Once u have this, u can email that address anything from your email thats linked to Amazon & it goes straight to your kindle without the need for using this app. Haven't needed to use the app since.
Not intuitive and extremely difficult to use! Not good if you are trying to load documents over 24mb! I wanted to send a book to Kindle which was in MOBI format, but was too large and gmail would not send it as an attachment, and loaded it to Google drive instead. To get the document, you need to send a link to the file on Google drive. It only has minimal information about how to accomplish what I wanted - I tried a few things, but was told I reached my limit and pay $2.99 for more tries.
Poorly designed, poorly localised buggy app. - I tried to add a pdf file on my smartphone. Copying in Kindle email was hard and didn't work properly. Uploading a file shows an animated bar, with no indication of what that bar means. Once I uploaded a file, it didn't say it had been sent, or what to do next. There was a share icon, but no option to share it to Kindle. When I clicked it again, it told me I was out of shares, even though I hadn't shared anything. Easier to email it myself.
This is perfect I can only really like this because of Kindle however. It's really reasonable in price for a function that enhances my Kindle experience.
Suboptimal, but not many other options available to transfer articles from Android to Kindle. I reached my "sent limit" immediately after sending only one article, and there is no indication of when (if ever) that limit gets reset. Can I send one article per hour? Per day? Forever? The sending process is pretty cumbersome, but that's largely due to Kindle's infrastructure. The layout is simple, no frills, looks nice. Cannot uncheck all items. Article I sent looks great on Kindle app though.
I don't understand everyone else's poor reviews? I've been using this app for a long time now, and have sent and enjoyed many books thanks to the conversion this app offers. Sometimes, the odd pdf may get scrambled on certain pages once converted, but I haven't found another way to convert pdf and put onto the Kindle so it's the best that's out there right now, not worth knocking down a star for though. My expectations are met, despite some improvements that could be made.
I love this for sending all my "read later" long PDFs to my Kindle. The barter option is very sweet as you may want to try it out longer than a week (like most trials). You get a few free sends then either watch a video ad or buy ad-free. Sweet!!!
It's by far the best android app I used to send webpages and books to kindle. But it sometimes fails to sync the images on the webpages and instead puts a thumbnail of a camera, I am unsure if it is a problem with the webpage itself, because it manages to do it just fine on other webpages.
Easily the best app at what it does. Developer was quick to respond to my comment on file size; sounds like it's a limitation of email clients more so than apps. Some quick googling and I found an epub compression site that solved my problem. Great UI and ads aren't invasive. Highly recommend!
As good as the amazon app on Win10. It doesn't do pdf's very well but the app makes it clear that it is designed for web pages and, frankly, the Amazon app doesn't do pdf well either. For web articles, the formatting on this is top notch; more often than not it is cleaner than the Amazon app.
So far so not so good. It converted a perfectly usable pdf, which I eventually emailed separately to the Kindle without using this app, into a different format the Kindle couldn't properly read so turned out to be a complete waste of time. I'll try again with another document but so far it's not been worth the download.
Great app. Easy to use. Do the job as expected. A great feature would be to be able to edit the title of the ebook before pushing to Kindle. Some websites use very generic titles and, when several pages are pushed to kindle, all doc titles look similar.
A brilliant solution to get long form articles on my kindle, where I can read them without wanting to gouge my eyes out.
Great, easy-to-use, intuitive program. I use it for any pfds I want to send to my Kindle. It works much faster than just sending a normal pdf to your Kindle email address with "Convert" in the subject, which is the default way of doing it.
Useless! You send something with it thinking that is on the device, move on with browsing and at the end of the day you have nothing on kindle and also dont't know where to find the articles because you thought that the app will take care of it and didn't bother to bookmark them. Basicaly, this app is so bad that if add to bookmarks will be an app will be much better than it. But you can watch ads in it, in case that you're bored. Ads work perfect!
I use it to send articles to my Kindle when I don't have time to read at the time. It gets the job done very well.
Works well. Attaches Web page to an email that you then send to your kindle address. So not a straight sending app but works very well. Doesn't seem to work with Web pages behind a password / private account, is there a way round this? Overall very happy with the app.
Useless! I can't send anything anywhere. The app wants to connect to a device and there is no way to change where or how you send anything cancelled sends still result in using one of the 3 tries. No way I would pay for an app that doesn't work.
Simple yet effective! Love that it converts links very quickly and emails them to my Kindle. Only wish I could convert and email articles in bulk, rather than one by one. But otherwise does the job. The $2.49 is worth it to remove the ads and have unlimited sends!
The last three times I sent an article, as soon as I switched to another app, I received a notification warning that it used screen capture. I'm afraid there might be privacy issues. This had never happened before today.
App deleted my documents from my phone, I've lost them forever now, I could have just sent via email to my kindle anyway, the app converts to a format Kindle does not support, kindle uses mobi not epub, increased to 2 stars due to receiving a refund but does not bring my deleted documents back though. Since removed the app and downloaded an app which converts to mobi.
Works, although fancy it's not. I have only tried webpages, not PDFs. It's nicer than other ways of sending webpages. The how-tos could be streamlined and translated better - maybe 1 how-to instead of 3 or 4 scattered into different menus - also, what's "Select All" in the ... menu for? Has a bug where article shared to the app will be listed repeatedly in the Home screen, each time you press Home it adds another copy of the article recently shared to the app to the list shown there.
