Fell in love with this game. A week into it though when I basic play the pieces won't move after I throw. But great game.

Aesthetically pleasing implementation of an ancient board game. A wide selection of (unlockable) skins, several unique challenge modes, and a bevy of achievements will keep you coming back for more. I'd like to see the ability to change the game rules to match other variants out there (such as immunity on tiles 28-30). But that's more of a wish -- hardly a complaint! I have enjoyed Senet, and will play it for a long time to come.

Not bad at all. Looks good, plays well. Can be damn frustrating and feel like the dice is rigged but I read the developers article about it and that clearly isn't the case. Best version of this game (as is this developers Royal Game of Ur) on the store in terms of look and playability. Ads are far less intrusive than many games too. Only thing I could suggest updated is the ability to zoom in on the boards a little but it isn't a big issue for me.

Update... I changed setting from Hard to Normal and the AI's pieces are moving. It appears that it the Hard Level that might have a problem. I will amend my review to 4 stars for now. I was playing this game and loved it. However with this last update, when it's the AI's turn the dice are rolled, but the AI is not moving their pieces. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but no luck. So I uninstalled this game for now. I will check back from time to time to check if it's been fixed.

Senet has always been one of my favorite ancient games ever since I taught myself how to play it in high school. Please unlock the blue and black starter board in the game for me. For some reason, I can't access the rating from within the app no matter what I try. The Royal Game of Ur did it just fine. It's just that Senet absolutely refuses. Tapping the rate button does absolutely nothing even when I have strong, steady internet. The rate button seems to be broken, please fix it.

great app. Maybe instead of having to press a button to throw a number, an ability to choose between pressing the screen or shaking the phone/device to simmulate a throw could be placed in the settings as an added optional feature. it would save time when playing since the pace when 1 player only is playing the device itself can become quite fast.

It's a good game, always interested in historical games, and I love the aesthetics. My only issue is why allow for a skip turn button if you can't use unless you absolutely have no move to make? It seems pointless in that aspect. Besides that, it's really fantastic!

the previous version was a nightmare to just have rhe chance to play it. now that it got an update that meets the ur standard. it wayy better , though i feel like the tutorial forgot to mention that in the 14 square (the one before the ank square you play again. i don't know if it was forgotten to be mentioned or it's just a glitch but it is there. Also i can wait for the other games in the series.

I want to like this game. It's well made. The musical atmosphere is nice. But even on easy mode, the AI cheats like crazy. It's utterly ruthless and obnoxious. They ALWAYS get the rolls to win. I played 10 games and won 1 time. It's not a hard game. The number generator is evil and will always favor the AI. If you're down to your last pawn and on the Ankh you WILL ALWAYS roll a 1 and slide back to the previous row. The RNG is not random enough.

This could have been better. You have to fix the dice throwing issues. I'm playing at "Easy" difficulty and the COM is always in favour of the dice. Whenever i throw the dice, I got "2" for almost 10x consecutive turns. That's really unfair. You really have to get this fixed.

This game is awesome! Challenging and strategic but still simple enough to learn! Runs smoothly, online and offline options, minimal ads - only appear after a game ends and they're very unobtrusive. Highly recommended!

the game is very fun but could get boring, it doesnt in this app though because the game creator works hard to create events and challenges that add interesting features to the game,there are also tons of customization options that make the game even better. everyone should try this game! thanks to everyone involved with making my favorite game: )

Pity there is no option just to remove adds. Unlimited costs are horrendous, even taking account his other games. Why can i not just remove adds and then work to unlock other items. Way to costly for what it is. Was better before he moved off google play save and matching. Other than that the game is great but his pricing policy is bizarre.

Nice app, good looking, but $6 to remove ads ads is a bit steep. Also could use an option to auto roll, and a variant where three player takes all his rolls at once and then decides how to use them would be interesting. .

Game doesn't follow the agreed on Robertson Rules completely. Pieces are supposed to clear the top row before exiting, can't pass a 3 piece straght row, etc. I teach this game regularly but other than that it is nice. Other issues are bottom tiles are supposed to be protected from jumps and passes.

Awesome but I don't think the dice are fair. The AI tends to get the same outcome as you after you bring back one of its pieces. However, I will perform a statistical test in case I'm biased and add the last star in case I am. Anyway, this guy is one of the best developers! A few tweaks and this game will be smashing. Thanks for the hours of fun!

Every time I try to create my account and it asks for a display name, I would try a different one but apparently even "vfurbcjdbcjbh" is already in use? It would make sense for my first name to be used, but I tried at least 15 different names and none worked, I tried restarting my phone, deleting and reinstalling the app, and closing and opening it back up but it didn't work. It was overall just very slow and not even functional.

Good game and fun. Good graphics. I like that I can play against other players. There is an option to play against the AI if I just want some practice. Ads not intrusive.

While I really enjoy learning and playing this game, AI algorithm is kinda unfair. You can actually predict the next number that will be drawn by the AI esp when it's a close fight or it's about to win.

Pretty great. I love the Royal Game of Ur too :) Offline gaming is really good and asthetically very appealing. Both these games help me unwind before I go to sleep. I kind of wish there was an "undo" button, but I don't really mind that much.

Could be fun but difficult controls. It is difficult to press on a single piece. Often I am pressing the screen and nothing happens.

Fun! Easy to pick up. Played first only with board, then with friend. Stayed on phone to comment back & forth. Still getting clear on every rule, but enjoy it. Sound is meditative. Truly enjoyable.

Have to say I'm hooked! Also have to say the dice rolls are a little sketchy when a die is lying flat on the board and suddenly flips over to make the count whatever is needed. It's also killing me that I can't figure out where Ive played this game before years ago. 😊

Fantastic game! I started with the Royal Game of Ur after watching a YouTube video and then found this. i really like both. These ancient games are really fun and lasted thousands of years before backgammon replaced them by the Romans.

Bot Favored, noticed in the settings that most of my games were paired with bots and rigged in their favor, I guess it's to get you to play more for coins, I'd rather play myself on a real board when chance is fair and equal, uninstalling

The game cheats. The random number generator isn't random. It gives itself high numbers (or the number it needs) with bonus roles and then gives the human player 1s, 2s and 3s of which only 1 has the bonus roll.
