Sensi

Pretty good app. Thermostats seem to be a good price too. On occasion the app doesn't work and the error message indicates that the thermostat has lost contact with WiFi, needing reconfiguration. It's mislead and a waste of time to try because it usually doesn't correct the problem. It seems to re-establish spontaneously after a while so it is probably a problem with the remote server. In the meantime the thermostat works fine, you just can't view/change the schedules. I wonder why...

Nice thermostat. Had a issue connecting to wifi. Called customer support and they sent new firmware download to stat. Extremly helpful and thermostat awesome best we ever had. You have options in settings and schedules too. Nice when your away from home. We had a Honeywell's focus pro 8000. It was nice however this is much better and controls are heat pump system even better. Had this thermostat now for awhile and it's a nice upgrade. Easy app on our android phones

Wish I could return devices. WiFi randomly disconnects from my 3 thermostats so often you can't use app, can't change the programmed temps and then it doesn't have history of usage. These create more hassle than help.

Absolutely love my Thermostat & this app! Previously I had a Google Nest, but when we moved the Sensi Thermostat was already installed, so I gave it a shot! It was soooo easy to switch over & re-set up. The app itself is basically self explanatory, and so easy to use! While I loved the Google Nest Thermostat, I'd have to say I don't see myself going back to it ... too many issues/bugs that were continuously requiring updating! .... HIGHLY recommend getting a Sensi.

Can't even unselect days when trying to program a schedule. If you accidentally click a day you have to delete that schedule and start a new one. What a joke of an app. Simple coding skills.

I couldn't live without a smart thermostat and sensi is so awesome. I've never tried another and that's sensi has been so good I haven't had a reason. I'd recommend to anyone. I can control the temperature from anywhere. So there's no need to keep the ac or heat on when not necessary.

It has good features and gives you a lot of control over your heating and cooling. The UI is okay, not great. The connection and responsiveness is terrible. Waiting over a minute to access my *thermostat* is unacceptable. I open the app, click on my thermostat, then I'm stuck on a loading page for 30 seconds to more than a minute sometimes. Get your cloud stuff right Sensi. I'm thinking I should have paid more for Google or some other brand.

We have this Sensi thermostat at a second home. In the winter we can turn the heat up on our way there and walk into a warm house. Same in the summer! It has been 100% reliable. No glitches ever! We are so pleased with the wifi Sensi thermostat and app. It doesn't have a ton of bells and whistles. Just the basics, but that's all we want. 5 stars!

App is alright and pretty easy to setup and manage the thermostat. The only confusing part is the temperature readings in the upper right corner for the outside weather. The bigger number of the three, i assume is the outside temperature, the other two are dew point and ?? I'm not sure. Pretty confusing. There should be a way to remove these as people already have weather apps on their phones

The app works reasonably well. One thing I don't like is the interruption of heating or cooling cycle that coincides with a schedule change. If a schedule change happens during a heating cycle that is already in progress(eg say from 68f to 62f), it should let it finish instead of shutting it down. I don't like so many short cycles.

The app, when it functions, is pretty good. Connectivity to the device is problematic though. The device (thermostat) seems to be the root of the problem. In the last several weeks my 16 month old device, which was professionally installed, has worked zero days. Very frustrating.

One of the worst WiFi T-stats available. As an AC technician, I work with a variety of devices of this technology, and simply put, there are alternatives that are easier to use and will actually be functional for longer periods of time. Every single one of these devices I put in has had connectivity issues within months of installation. Do not buy these products. Not worth the money, despite being the 'affordable' option.

Nothing less than excellent 👌🏻 Since installation (also without any problem) no glitch or whatsoever. As a system together with the thermostat it's just perfect. It has and does what I want.

A former Nest users perspective: Pros Reliable Shows usage history per day and month. Easy controls Cons No darkmode No quick access to temp Does not say what times temp is changed like with nest. Opening app takes you to a main device menu. I find this frustrating as I only own one device and have to click an extra button just to be in the full thermostat home page. This is bad UI. Often takes a few seconds of saying it is not connected before it connects and you can see/ change temperature.

Temperature settings change on their own on a daily basis. That's with the schedule off. Dehumidification randomly drops to 40% even after setting it to 65%. Set the air-conditioning to never cool below 74 degrees and it still drops the temperature to 72 degrees even though there is 0 allowable offset, etc. Over all a terrible app.

Its good honestly , I had a really good review from the time of purchase , but 1 year later (my 2nd winter and I've had nothing but problems....) All I can say, something had changed in that last update , and from then on the app changed and im not fond at all of the new way to program the schedule. People at Sensi please go back to the old schedule way before the update...... I use it and it works but like the old look to the schedule and way to program it was way easier before

It is not intuitive to me to set schedules, but managed. When initially connecting sensi to internet your exploration of steps is not sufficient and omit one crucial step when you only connect one station and not many .

The sensi app is a great way to get controll of my home's temperature. It is easy to figure out, and the programming feature let's you set it and forget it. You can also places holds on your program for unexpected events, like staying home from work for a sick or snow day. There was some trouble at first with the furnace sometimes not responding to the app, but sensi did an update and it seems to be fixed. Overall, I am happy.

I love being able to control my heat and AC anywhere, but the app could use a design update. I should be able to turn it on and off from the home screen. Maybe make the ad smaller to accommodate this feature. Home screen should also say which schedule I'm on. I rarely need to use the app so I end up getting lost whenever I need to do something.

Works pretty well. Setting up was a little confusing, and I had to keep going through the same steps multiple times. Setting up heat schedules also worked but wasn't super user friendly. Changing between heat schedules is more difficult than I'd like - I wish there was a quick way to access and switch between heat schedules.

Works well... I love being able to see the AC/heat usage over the past few months. The app has a nice user-friendly interface as well. With that said, its gotten pretty slow at loading when first opening the app.. it's probably because of the updates but it's kind of annoying.

I am my family have been using this thermostat for a few years now and we enjoy it. The savings we've had over the years as well as the convenience to be able to adjust the temperature when you're not at home. It's a must-have 🙂 Getting the humidity notifications is extremely helpful. Easily connects to Alexa or in our house its Ziggy. Very well lit display. We use brand name batteries change every 6 months. With kids we love the lockout function that only allows a change thru the app.*****

Nearly useless. It's almost always off line and I can rarely connect to either of the two of these thermostats via the app. Would never go this route again. I almost always have to manually adjust them, making this pointless. Any time I want them working again I have to reinstall them.

Works as intended and perfectly on my Galaxy S9+. Had some issues at first and after days of troubleshooting, I've come to the conclusion that the issues I was having with this app were caused by my phone putting the app to sleep when it was set not to, causing the app to not be able to access the internet. Deleting the apps data and cache temporarily fixes the problem and I'm on day 3 of no problems so far. Hopefully it stays this way.

Works great! Adjust temperature from anywhere from your phone. We have ours set to control the humidity as well as temperature.

Update: This is so bad we are uninstalling the physical thermostat and replacing it with with a non wifi one! Not user friendly. Extremely difficult to understand and reach, or even edit, settings. Settings only offer you a range of temperatures, not keep a constant temperature. It's too difficult to navigate the app to change the temperature if it becomes too hot or too cold so I end up just using the wall mount which apparently breaks the app settings.Support was also terrible and couldnt help

No frills WiFi thermostat. No C wire required for older furnaces. Easy interface and easy programming. Installed in many people's houses and each are very satisfied
