Sensor Test for Android is tested on different devices and versions. I was not able to test all 13000 different types of Android devices, it´s possible that on some devices appear errors.Affected people with a not working Sensor-Test-App should reboot and run it again.

About me:
Sensor Test for Android is my technicians work I programmed in the summer holidays of my training as a technician (electrical engineering).Before starting programming, I knew just how to spell JAVA.I only had contact with LabView, a "painting by numbers" for programmers. For this application a documentation will be created, with which following students can easily incorporated into the Java programming language.

No fingerprint sensor compatibility plus the UI is plain ugly.
app didn't find any sensors on my phone. similar apps have no problem finding the sensors

Proximity sensor test doesn't work. Many other tests not implemented yet.

Not many sensors to explore on a Samsung tablet, but as the app explains, this is not the fault of the app itself. As a previous reviewer mentioned, it would be very helpful if a brief description of each sensor was given - some are obvious ... but not all. Would rate 4 stars if the language and spelling errors were tightened up and if brief descriptions were added. All in all, does what it says.
Really informative sensor testing app. I actually learned something new about my phone with this :)
Beautifully made. Simple and does what it says. Useful to test if phone features are working as well. 4 stars coz of the in progress features, 5 after they are developed.
I think the features and functionality of the app are awesome. But the UI is not up to the mark. Instead of using the list view for the available tests you should replace them with tiles. Though UI is not good the app does everything that is written and does not lags or crashes, it is a good app.
Does exactly as promised, if you need an app to test your phone's sensors, Id totally recommend this one
The app does all it says it does. Everything is simple and easy to use. In a way it turns a phone into a very primitive "tricorder" :). Great idea!

This is the best sensor, it let me know that the Samsung does not put in a lot of the sensors that most smartphones have, and which ones they were!
It is comfortable to use. And provides information about sensors. When opening for the first time, the first screen had spelling error.
Compared to other applications, this one has detailed explanations of sensors.
small in size but big impact. you can know which sensor is working on your device properly.
