Sensy India TV Guide & Remote

I bought ir cable to use only one remote to change channels. It worked well initially but now it keeps asking me to choose dth operator, language everytime when I try to change the channel and at last end up on same channel and no switch (to selected channel) happens at all. When I click on channel once again same thing is happening. It's too irritating. Can you please look into this. Update that created bad user experience.

It is an awesome app. I can control both my tv and set-top box. Moreover, support is incredible. I got the resolution in 10 mins. Kudos to the team. Just few suggestions, 1) D-pad is too small. We need to keep an eye on the mobile screen when clicking here and there. Please make a bit large. 2) There is no back button for Mi tv. I always end up by clicking on the home button. Please fix this. Superb work. Keep it up !

I have recently started using this app for my smart tv. But I don't find cable operator provider for my locality. I just wrote an email to them. Within few minutes, I received reply from them. Within a day everything resolved. Now it's easy to handle set-box with one single remote. This review is not for the mobile app, but for the Sensy app for Android TV - the virtual remote and channel switches on Mi TV 4X is totally messed up. Even after enabling digit delay, the numbers do not type sequentially - one or two digits are left out and not signalled to the Set Top Box ( we dont see them appear on the screen ) - I have tried positioning the Mi TV sensors in many different oentiations securely mounted with tape right in the line of sight of the Set Top Box. Exasperating !

Superb App concept.. Displaying capabilities of digital platform. I would've rated 5star had there been Google Home support Just like Alexa. Developer please add support for Google Home in near future. Also they have good customer care support for any issues that shows their commitment to the application development. Thumbs up for that. Google Home support is badly needed.

Useless with local cable networks. Most channel databases aren't synchronized. I understand maintaining a database of every network provider can be pretty overwhelming for a small company. Would have been handy to edit channel numbers manually and allow the user to set preferences. The database gets some channels right but opens up the SD channel instead of hd inspite of enabling prefer HD channels setting

Edit: the response from support has been outstanding. Rectified the issues. Great App. Channel numbers are wrong for Sun Direct HD in my mi tv 4a. It was working well in d2h. But after changing to sun Direct this is pretty much useless. Not sure if it's a problem of the android tv app.

Amazing Technology to sync Set top box with Tv via using IR remote connector using this with Mi Tv 4X pro. Issues : whenever I shutdown the Device then restart it, and open tv guide app it take some time to recognize the IR connector device and settings notices pops up Feedback: 1. Many channels and program schedules needs to be updated 2. Needs a button support to change language of the channels which provides multiple language audio.

i am finding this app to be highly unpredictable and hence un dependable. The technical support provided by the group has been exceptional and clarifications were provided for most of the issues. i am waiting for their next update, but it is quite usable as it is.

App is very nice. I am using sensy in MI TV 4A pro. I had enabled an unwanted setting in the HDMI settings and it was causing unexpected issue in the sensy app. Sharan from the Support team was very helpful and found the issue in a matter of a hour.Special thanks to him. I was really irritated as was not getting the best experience using the app on mi tv.

Most of the Tata sky channels are not updated.. Channels are not visible in the list. For few listed channels numbers are not updated. Customer support is not that effective. Sensy team doesn't have frequent channels cross check across all operators.. At least if some one reports the issue they could have corrected it but no improvements.

Seems promising. Just started using it. Previously was using Peel remote but they discontinued set top box support. Sensy supports all major DTH set top boxes in India and provides the channel guide which is amazing and convenient. Will update review after using for a while

Good app to select channels and to get rid of TV remote even UI is very friendly and great customer support too. They will make sure the issue is resolved you just have to drop a mail rest will be taken care.

In my 30 years of IT experience , nobody supported like what Sensy team supported. I bought a MI TV and sensy infra remote. My set top box was not compliant and when i reached support, they immediately added support in the remote database and i am started using one remote at home instead of two. I hoghly recommend Sensy remote for anybody who has android tv and looking for a single remote and manage thier set top box . Sensy also has another solution to get your Air conditioner be controlled.

I had a issue regarding channels located on wrong number. So i contacted them via in app chat and they responded instantly and managed fix the problems in several minutes. I wasn't expecting a real person responding it was pretty good. very good service

This is a Great App!! I am enjoying the app with my MI TV Pro. I really appreciate the team for their wonderful support. Here I want to mention, this app work all DTH/Cable including tamilnadu arasu cable tv setup box. I hope voice based channel searching will come in their next update for MI TV.

fantastic app..along with the sensy home device, it gives an seamless experience.. changing channels and scheduling programs is a breeze..keep up the good work..cheers team sensy.. one suggestion though..if you can add in google home functionality just like alexa..this app would be best in business.. :)

Very useful app.if your phone have infrared sensor You can even control your AC with it. It can only change ac temperature and on off with my Samsung ac. Swing direction options are not clickable. That's a bummer.

It would be better if users could have filter option in on air categories too That just saves users preference Many users may be having packs without hd support. Their should be just a small slider with hd and sd option or something similar.

🚩 'Sensy' is one of a kind of App. Though this 'App' is of grea convince, the team who ever handles updating the oft' changing 👉 Channel numbers of different Dth operators ➡️donot bother to update them in the Channels List and the Program guide which totally ⏩takes away the worth and usefulness of this App. ➡️Right now Tatasky has totally revamped many of its channel numbers nearly a month back and Sensy app hasn't reflected them yet.. too bad..

Positive Points – Excellent app interface. 👍 Support staff is good 👦 and give proper and timely reply and try to resolve every problem. Negative Thing – The app developers needs to add many channel EPGs which the support staff says is not possible at all now or in near future and this is not good at all for the app.

excellent of assistance.. 24x7 Nice UI. first of all I will give 5* out of 5 EPG , CHANNELS GUIDE IS MIND BLOWING.. I USED SINGLE REMOTE FOR both TV and setup box with this Sensy App.. this app i had used in both Mobile and TV (Mi 4c pro).. best performance.. and finger tipped assistant always available to serve while I have faced small issues.. I strongly recommend to all TV users.. my special thanks to Saran Dev for solved my issue with good effort and patience..

Updated: Had an issue with the Blaupunkt 43UHD smart TV interface after installing the Sensy App and trying to use it from my mobile. I reported it to the Sensy team and they responded in an instant inspite of it being the wee hours at 3:00 A.M. Next day morning Sensy team calls me and instructs me step by step to restore the TV back to normal. Never had a consumer issue getting resolved this fast. Appreciate the brilliant service and back up.

1.Can you please add a feature in which we can watch whatever is going on the tv on our phone screen through your app (reverse miracast). 2. 2nd feature required is that we can hear the audio of TV program on our phone or headset connected to our phone. So that we can watch TV and enjoy sound on our earphone without disturbing others( alternate to Bluetooth earphone)

Excellent Support and Followup guidance. Etsy team (Mr. Saran) ensurer the issue was resolved and followed up after business hours. Look forward to the upcoming feature updates. newest update is amazing. excellent app on android tv makes the stock UI or patchwalll look ancient.

With all set top boxes moving towards bluetooth remotes, why convert Bluetooth signals to IR. Is there any option to connect with Set top box via Bluetooth instead of IR.

Go for it...... This app is really wonderfull !!! No tv can be called as 'smart tv' , without sensy. Conventional remote and searching for channels are now replaced by real technology. Need to upgrade UI. It looks very old and needs to upgrade the UI. Otherwise, it's feature rich. But, UI needs to upgrade.
