Sentinel Free VPN

Would give it a 5 star if they fix the issue where you have to exit the app and clear it from the background in order to connect to another server if the server you've selected at the start isn't responding. Itd be great if an option to check which servers are responding at the moment was added, along with the option to bookmark a server once you're connected to it without disconnecting and searching for it again.

For a free app it's pretty good. Otherwise, it's just not there yet for me. I really wanted it to be good but even though its slower. Proton VPN (free version) doesn't disconnect as much as this or Velocity. Almost every 10-20min with this or Velocity, I have to restart or stop the current connection to the app/server when streaming video. Not really efficient or effective. I use this on 3 devices and they all have the same problem.

Easy to use and has a huge selection of private networks and countries to choose from. Even though it's a free app and no trial required, it's an excellent product that does what it says on the tin! As a non techie, it most definitely should be one to try. Techie guru's will no doubt conduct an autopsy on it and likely think differently, but for the 'great unwashed' it's more than adequate. Try it as there's nothing to lose.

No kidding, this is the best app I've found in a good 3 or 4 years of trying all sorts of others, because for one, it's incredibly comprehensive as far as how many servers and their speeds which are just as good as regular not even using vpb speeds, like it doesn't affect any of my websurfing, second of all, it's open-sourced, which means it literally is always going to be genuinely free to use. Like it's fast af, fr, and free af, fr many choices too of nodes.

No stable connection. Breaks up incessantly and deliver low quality videos. You can not rely completely on the self re-connection . Establishing initial connection is fast and after that it starts fluctuating to a full dropping out connection to restart searching and re-searching until interrupted to start a fresh connection. I am confident of better improvement in future. It is also damn free.

I have been using since day 1 and it's just, awesome. A few bugs in the early days, but so smooth and easy to use now. It's everything you want from a VPN with the added bonus of free. 1gb limit per connection, but if you hit it, just reconnect. Seriously guys, its an absolute dream to use.

Brilliant app I came across for the first time. I always be cautious using free VPN as they are less transparent about the functionality. I have few things to bring to your attention. 1. I chose few countries as my favourites and I want to set the filters to show favourites only. But each time when I open I still see all the countries. 2. Please consider an auto connect option when the app is started or on device boot.

Love it. Love everything about this app! You can't beat decentralized.. especially when dealing with vpns. You can trust this vpn more than almost every other VPN app on here. Just make sure you're using the correct protocol for whichever application you are applying it to. The UI is great Super simple, literally one one button press quick start available. My biggest worry before using this app turned out to be my favorite aspect, the MOST CONSISTENT CONNECTIONS AND SPEEDS PERIOD.

Sentinel is a good app. But two weeks ago, the servers inside the application were removed and there are no servers to connect. Perhaps this problem has occurred only to us who live in Iran. Check if possible. Thanks

Recent update disabled all but one NA and one French network...neither one connected at all since the forced update almost 2 weeks ago. Was a 5 star app until the "upgrade" downgraded and disabled the app functionality. What a pity. Just found a stable, working competitor's app to replace this now useless app. It now deserves a zero star rating.

Hello. Good program. Beautiful and user-friendly interface. Multiple servers, however, have problems with the mobile operator network, and none of them connect, but connect to Wi-Fi Internet and non-mobile companies. That use They are not cheap and this VPN is useless for me.

Servers which have open spots should be ranked high as to prevent unable to connect errors. Other than that, this is the best and most secure VPN to use. It's fast too and runs for hours without dropping connection for me. Edit: The issue was fixed. Best VPN around. Thanks!

I just open the app, choose a server, click on "connect", and it works. Can't ask more than that. EDIT: reduced rating to two stars since it's become barely useable now. First few days it worked, but lately it gets stuck and doesn't connect or build config properly, so you have to force stop the app. I'm about to uninstall it.

Works really good. I haven't gotten to the transfer yet. Hopefully when I get there it will be easy to do it. I haven't had any problems or issues. It connects good and keeps connecting without any problem So far it's a great device to earn extra passive income .

Thus far I've had very good experiences with this decentralized VPN but I think I've come across a bug. When I configure Android to use Sentinel as my always-on VPN and restart my device, Sentinel connects to a VPN server (my IP changes) but when I open the app to change the server it says "Attention: You have already connected to a VPN server. Please disconnect from it before connecting to a new VPN server." Unfortunately it doesn't show any disconnect button. App version: 0.3.3

It was the best & safest VPN for Android devices but But for almost two months, this VPN has not worked at all in Iran & I emailed the developers several times wrote about its problems, but unfortunately I did not receive any response nor changes have been made in this VPN! I hope this VPN works as soon as possible. Thanks so much.

How can I go back to the Disconnect screen to change other servers? Always can't go back to Disconnect screen to read the connection status and can't disconnect to connect to other servers problematically. Please don't need to Disconnect manually but automatically Disconnect the currently connected server once Connect button is tapped to other servers. Need a favorite button in the connected page. UI could be improved.

It's interface is good and is also ad free, but it isn't SPEED, which is my main reason for using any vpn. So, it's of no use for me for now. If developers could manage to make the network speed, then I would reinstall it and hit 5 stars. Till then Uninstalling it.

Very fast to connect and seems to do well for jumping around on different end nodes to use their ip but it's only one hop... still reading to see if this VPN over decentralized net is any benefit to privacy or multi hop tor VPN setup... seems this is still pretty easy to trace connection but perhaps VPN tunnel to end node is good for transport security over own net... not sure what the full context of why to use this is exactly... works well and fast. They're moving to new system for nodes

It works well and it's extremely easy to use. Unfortunately only has servers in China, Canada, the UK, the US & the Netherlands so you get a very limited choice. The download speed seems to be capped at 50 Mbps, at least for me it doesn't go any higher than that.

Fast, stable and DVPN! . A very good idea for us, in high filtered internet countries woul be adding a front proxy through which we can first connect to your node searching core. In the intranet condition we can't reach to the VPN to work. It would be a nice challenge if you could add the option to see if we could bypass intranet or not.

Good concept. Used to work well. But gradually every node has become identified and blocked by the GFW. Now it becomes useless. Their plan to add proxy nodes has taken far too long. There yet remain working method of bypassing the GFW, which is an essential thing for expats in China, but unfortunately Sentinel, which was promising and worked well for a time, is no longer a viable option. Hope the devs can step up their game, so i can change my rating to 5 stars, but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm having a hard time connecting to a server. I've done each one several times till I got to Singapore took several times.I'll try again. You have a great thing going on. If this was fixed? I would give 4-5 * still cannot access certain apps
