SEPTA Transit Watch
The SEPTA Transit Watch App offers the public a quick and discreet method for reporting suspicious activity directly to the police. The app can send pictures, text messages, and locations of suspicious people or activities. From the home screen, users have two easy options for contacting the SEPTA transit police:
* The “Report a Problem” button allows users to send text or photos directly to the SEPTA Transit Police. To ensure discretion, the camera flash is automatically disabled when photos are taken through the app. When reporting an issue, users can select locations and report categories to assist the SEPTA Transit Police. Riders can also send reports anonymously if they chose.
* The “Call SEPTA Police” button will connect customers directly to the SEPTA Transit Police.
The application is designed for SEPTA. If you send a report in an area without cellular connectivity, it will be stored and sent when connectivity returns. The system is also designed to send text messages before pictures so that the SEPTA Transit Police can get app reports as quickly as possible.
Additional Features
BOLO (Be On the Look Out) Alerts. BOLO Alerts on the app may display alerts from SEPTA Transit Police about specific persons of interest. For example, the app may display information about a missing person or child, such as where they were last seen. If you see a person from a BOLO, immediately call 911 and send an app report to SEPTA Transit Police discreetly.

This app is terrible. It would not let me send a video because it stated it was too big. It then stated to me to trim the video and wouldn't let me trim it.
Could not use video. Better not to use. Better to be removed from Google play.

Instant contact with the Transit cops. You need that when you ride the El as much as I do. I probably reported like 5 overdoses already
Very helpful app and safe app
Washington DC, Baltimore Chicago New York if you go to any day bus Depots or train stations they have Transit Police on site. SEPTA lack security at a lot of is bus Depots and buffoonery occurs where citizens are being attacked and assaulted this is a great way to get to the public but SEPTA has to be out on foot patrol as well. We don't need to name all the transit center SEPTA operates but we do know it lacks security and motivation for the citizens to be safe so a lot of people use Uber in 2017.
Just downloaded the app. I will update. I do like the way it looks so far and I like the alert feature.
Worthless when no service. When subways underground and no one have signals, then this app is worthless. Don't be a snitch

It Actually Works!! I reported a problem at 7:58AM and by 8:01AM septa was handling the situation. I also received a real time response from a live person! I definitely reccomend this app to those who use septa, specifically those of you who ride the el.
