No notification of a monthly fee going up from 0 to $1 and I'm not paying it. AmEx Serve is already making money off everybody's money in their accounts. I accidentally discovered this info by going all through my account, but it's extremely difficult to find, intentionally on purpose by Serve. I closed my account which requires a zero balance and uninstalled the app. Beware all !

Mobile check deposit doesn't work. It tells me to give it permissions, then gives the completely annoying "oops, this is awkward" error message. When I give the app permissions on the android side, it still won't work. **UPDATE: the app updated about a week ago. News flash: it still doesn't work. Lowering my rating one star for publishing an update without this issue fixed

Login password doesn't allow a special character. From a security standpoint, not allowing complex passwords is a potential for data breach and I'm surprised it hasn't been addressed yet. Otherwise the app itself has always worked for me without issue.

All and all it is good and I will give more stars when the app works right. The finger print login turns off all the time, very annoying. It would be more secure if finger print login worked or if the slide feature was available again. They need to fix the app it won't let you sign in unless you clear it multiple times 😏 You still haven't fixed your app, I have a credit union account that I could just switch to Serve, you should fix your app before I take my money somewhere else 🙄 ANNOYING

If you have ANY other options, use them. There is absolutely no way to talk to a live person if you have a question or problem. It's the same recorded message on all lines, regardless as to which one you try. I was expecting a direct deposit on a certain date, and when it didn't happen, I tried to reach someone to see if there was a error, or if they were sitting on it. Plus, if you try to deposit a check through your phone, they hold the funds for 2 weeks. In this age of tech, that's ridiculous

Problems adding a new credit card to add funds after my registered card expired. I constantly get the message "Oops! Well, this is awkward. We're experiencing some technical difficulties, please try again in a moment." Well, I've been trying this for 3 days. I called customer service, who did nothing and are difficult to understand (seems to be located in India). I do not understand why American Express do not keep de app updated and usable.

Update... New app doesn't work for me, maybe it's because I have an older phone. Now I cannot access or even report problems, this I've tried multiple times. Other than lousy new app. Okay promblem got fixed...but after a long period of time the app has glitches. I guess i gotta call them. It was perfect for awhile Can't add $ now

The app was so much better before the upgrade. Now you to read so much and go through so much just to transfer in or out of the main account. If you create a sub account you can never delete it. You have to look at it forever! Just horrible.

This card is terrible. Lost my card on a trip and had to purchase a card for incidentals for a hotel. Thought this prepaid was a good option, I couldn't have been more wrong! The hotel put a hold on this card in Seattle, the hotel released it that day. When I called the "worst customer service" people ever I was interupted many times by the most rude person ever, then I had to call the hotel and have them send some release info, AGAIN! Only to then be told the money won't be returned for 30 days

Horrible. I reset my password it won't recognize after it says complete go back to login page. I do and enter my new password it tells me incorrect. I've done this a least 8 times. I've even called they sent me a password reset link and nothing is working they don't wth. All and all something is wrong w my acct and I can't even see. Any of these transactions it frustrating.9

Got an email inviting me to have my tax refund deposited to this card and within 30 days I would receive a 30 dollar credit. So I did. I haven't received anything, nothing. Called in March when I was supposed to receive the credit customer service said I would get it the 30th of April. Guess what? Still nothing. Called today and was told " oh that 30 dollar credit is for the other cards not yours" ! Complete Scam! If I could give negative stars you guys would get -10! What a joke!

Update March 2022, it almost a year since my review and still no access for the sub-account thru the App. April 2021: New app...wish I could give it NO star review because I can't see it. Got update but haven't been able to login over two weeks. Receive the temporary unavailable each time. About transfer my money out.

I used this card to pay a deposit over a month ago. I am still trying to get my money released because serve has a hold on it even though the merchant released it after 3 days. When you call customer service they tell me they don' t know how to release it, even though they work for the company. Stay away from using this card and dont load any money on it. The worst card I have ever had, I got it from doing my taxes next year I will use someone else.

I've had unauthorized charges on my card n I've not received any of my money back on my card. I've called them over a dozen times about this issue n they said that they're gonna dispute n put the money back on my card but they haven't yet done so. There's over $100.00 of transactions that I didn't do n I can prove it. I'm receiving packages from places that I've never ordered or purchased but my card was charged for these items that I didn't order.

I haven't been able to use the app to login in over a month, seems to be a known issue with absolutey nobody addressing it. It just says "The Serve App is currently Offline". The moment I open it thats all it says and ive tried every type of troubleshooting, this issue is definitely on your end. Can only login on a computer. At least give us a real answer as to whats going on....

Horrible! They keep locking my card ! An email is sent to unlock the card after it's locked but it doesn't work! This is the 4th time in a month! Then you can't get in touch with a customer service representative to assist you ! Do Not ! Do Not use American Express Serve!

This is the worst card ever my whole experience with Jackson Hewitt and this card was the worst customer service, I had a hard time using it, allot of places just don't except it, I do not recommend this card I've never had so much trouble accessing my money as I did with this card.

By far the worst if a problem occurs, you are basically locked out . No way to talk to anyone and they give you only three options when you call . I have never felt so helpless ! I have money that I can't get to . Serve= Never Again if you have a problem and you need to call and talk to someone or try to get the problem fixed you'll only have three options number one set up direct deposit number two balance in previous transactions and that is it number three activate a card , you report a lost

Can't get daily balance anymore, I cant ,txt bal , to serve and get a balance it just stopped all of a sudden, I cant update anything. I can't update phone number to get anything even though I've had the same phone number with them since I started with them

Love hate relationship with this vendor...Don't get this card if you go to wally world. Fraud alert every time. But you can just check your text alerts and acknowledge transactions. I like the convenience for what its worth. $6.95 mo fee... What sux is it has an account and routing number that are completely useless for bill pay. Direct deposit works though... I get paid like 5 days early most months!! Hard to reach customer service 😒 have to spam your keypad and hope you get a human 😱

Well, American Express really outdid themselves here! Just completely copy the Bluebird app, but make sure it *never* actually works..... Seriously, I don't see how in the hell the C-suite saw this turd and declared "This is wonderful, it's ready to be released to the public". And the *really* sad part is, I've come back after two years and it still can't go without force crashing at least 5 times when I want to do anything. Come on guys, I know y'all can do better than this.

Flexible card. I like card benefits, offers, multiple ATMs access. The app itself it's a mess. It keep saying, oops we got a problem it takes forever to load. I'm staying with the version on mobile browser, its more user friendly than the app anyway.

Customer service is practically non-existent. Call the CS number and input all the required information, be prompted to press 0 for a customer service rep, and it hangs up. Every time....for weeks now. Sending me a replacement card that I didn't ask for.... UGH !

I got this card from dollar general after looking through many others. I will have to say this has been the easiest card to use and setup. It is reloadable via the place you bought it or you can save money into your card, transfer from your bank or another serve user. Deposit your pay check or government check. Get one for your kids etc. Really NICE

this is the worst prepaid service in existence there customer service is non existant if you try and talk to them there rude and just make it immposible to achieve anything. i put 20 dollars on one of there "pre-paid" cards i cant use it any where somehow how i only have 12 dollars left whenthe cards been declined everytime i tried to use it. and yes i registered it, made the mistake of stiring the hornets nest in there little serve dungeon,got called everything, but late for supper.

DO NOT recommend. Their customer service is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! My card has been locked twice because they suspected fraud when there was non. Only way to unlock is to call. When I call, it's a pain to get someone. This current time, total time on hold is 4+ hours and counting. They are complete garbage with a hint of decay.

1/28/22 still doesn't work. While the old app worked fine, I was forced to update when I went to check my balance to buy gas. Since then, I'm unable to log in due to "issues" & unable to check my balance. Less than a week after release? I'd bet the design team failed to actually beta test IRL. 6 months+ later, un & reinstall & still not working. Thanks Serve.
