I have used this app for many years, I loved it. It's so useful to be able to store your favourite stations URL and link directly to them. But when I recently upgraded my phone I noticed that whenever I use the app it has a significant drain on the battery. So unfortunately I have moved over to the Internet Radio Player app. Which doesn't drain the battery and is equally good.

when given a url for an mp3 file over http, this app could play it. However, it would not rest metadata, instead displayed the first part of url. Since all my url's have the same first fifty to one hundred chars, that's pretty useless. Even after being told to read and display metadata, did not. Insists on taking up 3/4 of the screen to display a non existent album cover.

It doesn't send tons of data to Google nor Facebook. Thank you devs! BTW, I'd like to see a dark mode and a direct way to add URLs from some open batabase of radio stream addresses (this is the main reason why others don't use this method). Finally, sorry to report de that streams often abruptly interrupt without any apparent reason (the app is not battery optimized and can freely operate in background): this is why I only give 3 stars.

Finally an app that allows you to stream URLs directly. I realize VLC handles most URLs, but I have login credentials and VLC doesn't handle without me re-entering the username and password. This app doesn't have that problem and so it's perfect for me.

I was able to stream using wifi only. when I switch to mobile data and try to reconnect, suddenly could not open url Edit: seems its not the fault of the app, as I've tried another app and the problem continues

I spent an hour looking for an app that would just look up a url and play it and then let me find that url in a list with a tag so I wouldnt have to enter all the data again. This app met my needs perfectly.

Love this for my nerdy icecast projects. Just have to remember to stop it when you are done listening, as it otherwise does not seem to clear the buffer automatically next time you launch. Would love Chromecast support.

Cant get past the spinning wheel and opening URL. I know the URL is vaild because it works on another similar app. Emailed the developer a while back and have gotten nothing. Please help!

A nice app to add Shoutcast streams. I've tried many other apps, and this is the best so far. I'm on a Pixel 2, and no problems.

Easy to use, well laid out. Main drawback: some unlabeled graphic controls.

doesnt work. i keyed in an ip address (which is more valid than any dns name url) and the app told me to key in a valid url. if an ip addr is not a valid url addr, i dont know what is! Useless...

Awesome application! Exactly what I'm looking for 👍, but sometimes didn't work with mobile network.

Was good a time ago, now do not work with some https and extentionless stream names. Now using CustomRadioPlayer instead.

Awesome app for streaming Shoutcast. Minor issue: can't really open/load .xspf file.

Does the job of internet streaming client. No lock screen controls though :(

Drops connections. A lot. Easy to use, otherwise.

Buffering is kinda slow, but otherwise works well with icecast streams.

Hard to use but works well. Worth it. I use it everyday.
