I think it's dreadful!! Access being denied unless you update the app discriminates against so many Australians who either can't afford or choose less technologically advanced mobile phones with minimal storage capacity, don't have 'cloud' storage, or laptop/ computer to transfer their photos and files to, so want to keep them all on their phone. So their phones don't have enough space for 'updates'!!! They have to delete files, photos, videos and other apps before can update Service NSW app!!

No issues until today, when I logged back in and found my digital licences gone, also no vouchers. I reloaded licence and certificate and when I tried verifying the last card, it said it was duplicated on another account ! How does this happen ? I followed the instructions to deactivate the new account but don't know how to find the original one ? Any suggestions apart from ringing Service NSW ?

I can't use the app because my phone is rooted, which doesn't actually affect the security at all. Please consider removing the requirement for a phone to be stock, as I'm running a legitimate version of Android. At the very least let me accept the risk.

Nice had Government App. But all the updates, but my phone old. Got new phone and easy after my old device can't do it. Thanks NSW Government for easy access, event sometimes hard for my self because I am not experienced with Technology. Cheers

Took me 2 days to get it working on Android whilst travelling interstate. Wasted a week trying to get it working on a Huawai phone uses Harmony OS. Even with OnePlay to download from PlayStore whence it will seemingly install and work, it fails when first used and needs identity check because of some Google feature. Contacted the developers and they won't release an APK to allow side loading. So you must have an up-to-date American approved phone to Covid scan. Total sell out to USA as usual.

The concept of having easy to access government and essential services is delivered here in this app. Once setup it's easy to use and get into when you need access to these. The main damn problem is the process when adding identification or adding anything in fact here. The app does this weird thing where it switches around from the browser to the app, and not registering sometimes, even with putting correct information, and it doesn't tell you that it didn't work. It's okay when it works though

Still trying to update the app, so far it has taken well over 2 hours and Still hasn't loaded. Why fix something that's not broke? Makes it hard when you are trying to check into a hospital and all you get is you must update the app. Now going on for 3 hours and Still hasn't loaded, getting pretty pissed off.

Keeps telling me to update, but when I go to do that it sits there saying 'pending' and going round in circles forever. The existing app only works 50% of the time, I can always log in, but sometimes it will access my fines or rego, other times it tells me it's not linked, basically useless.

Too hard to negotiate the technology everythings aimed at the younger generation. Too hard to try to negotiate websites. You go down physically to get help 3 hours wait then you fill out another stupid rating how do u rate service once you get there the people are great but you don't get tobrate the queues and wait times All us working oldies miss out on all the handouts because we can't do the discovery vouchers etc cant apply for job keeper.. floodbreleif . Fingerprint unlock is good. Face recognition was great until a recent update when someone thought that forcing users to tap the screen to confirm what was already verified was a good idea. Sort of defeats the purpose of face recognition. Please remove this redundant step. Otherwise, great app.

Unable to re-add my vaccination Certificate after removed it (for updating with booster). 9/3/2022. I changed my rating to 5+ stars (from 1 star) after the Digital Channel Team trying left and right to help me re-add my vacvination certificate on "my phone" for over 10 days. They asked detail questions, tried to give step-by-step instructions (but i was still confused), then step-by-step screenshots. Amazing patient and very professional. THANK YOU!

To complex! Far to complicated and hard to use. Still to complicated in all aspects cant even remember the overly complex passwords it asks for, nor can it just automaticaly update once the vouchers stop I will be deleting this app

This app is very useful, but after releasing an update, a notification is sent to All users saying that the current version of the app is out of date. I update apps twice daily and I always receive the notification After I have updated the app. Surely, this notification should check that the version of the app is out of date?

Now that we're travelling again, and after being caught out unprepared in Brisbane, I've installed every state and territory check-in app. Congratulations NSW on having the clunkiest, worst, most convoluted app of all. Throughout this pandemic your leaders have enjoyed piling it on other states, in particular those with Labour governments. Here now we see evidence of how incompetent you really are. Imagine having to create an account with a password just to scan a QR code! Others just want your name, phone number, and sometimes an email address. So far I've logged in and typed in my password three times. I shared my vaccine certificate from the Medicare app and the Service NSW app wants two documents to verify who I am! Absolutely useless. If I find myself unfortunate enough to have to travel to NSW, which I'd try to avoid in any case, I'll simply have to avoid any venues that require a checkin and certificate if this is ever required again in the future.

The developers should talk to the Victoria app people. Linking my certificate with that app was seamless. I have tried several times to link it with the NSW app and I just go around in circles. I have asked others and the same thing happens to them .

Was happy to go to Google Play and update Nsw service app with not too much difficulty so your instructions on hw to do things on this app are improving out of sight. Covid app download was a nightmare and I had to get help. I'm happy this update was a better experience. Thanks!

You know, the covid check-in option should be at the top of the page, front and centre! I shouldn't have to scroll down past fishing licence applications to get there. Academic right now because I keep being told that I can't check in right now. Thanks for the additonal feedback. Problem was internal to the app. Update: now am being told that my PIN is incorrect but I am using my fingerprint! No PIN involved. And well done on moving it to the top of the page.

One of the worst app i have ever used. Tried updating my vaccination certificate and it wont update. Tried deleting the old certificate and still it wont work. Now i have to show my vaccination certificate seperately when i go to the doctor's appointment. I have the latest version already and had tried varies times but to bo avail.

At idle uses too much battery pointless waste of time, I have it optimised but YouTube or email apps useless battery at idle. This app uses similar sort of battery to apps like fb and it shouldn't. The fact that your suggestion was for me to optimise the app on my device rather then the developer fix this issue reflects poorly on apps development team as your goal should be to minimise issues like resource hogging or bottle necking and battery drain hence deleted and opt for browser use instead

App will not allow login due to 'non standard software' That non standard software turned out to be the Waze traffic app that lets you report (among other road hazards) speed cameras. Good to see you're moving to protect the revenue of your good friends at Macquarie bank and their speed camera fleet.

Hi, the App seems useful but i would like to ask if ServiceNSW have increased their 'Data security' storage for customer personal details? Why? It seems relavent to me, as my identity (Drivers licence) was accessed and stolen (on line) from a ServiceNSW database, about 2 years ago. Then 3 months ago i get another email stating that my identity (Drivers licence) has again been stolen from the 'Transport for NSW' database. What has been done to protect and secure our personal details?

The app UI looks like from back then when people start developing apps. When you are in the app and the app takes you to NSW website, you have to login again. Some links are not working!!!

Very easy to use with the Dine vouchers, But cannot use the discover vouchers as live over 400kms round trip from any picture thertures or anything that can use them, why can we that can only travel for medical appointments and treatments not be able to use them for at least meals or for petrol that would help so much more than anything. It's only good when it works, it took me a week to try n get my Covid 19 cert loaded into it, issue resolved. It might b my fone? I wish I had money to buy a new one, One day.
