I *almost never* get notified about tickets being created or updated or assigned within my environment. Occasionally for some unknown reason I will get a few push notifications, but the majority of the time I do not. This makes the app basically useless for me if I can’t rely on it to send me notifications. How do I get notifications to actually work? It has all the requested permissions granted. Edit: Why are push notifications defined on the server level for everyone and not by the app user individually?
Updated review: After reaching out to support, was able to get resolved. Appears I was affected by an internal SSL change. Still fully recommend product and other developer software/services. Previous review; No longer connects to the server. I can access everything else in the world, but not this application. I used to be able to access the list of tickets anywhere, any time, wireless or cellular data, it would always work. Can't get past the "Could not connect to the server" error.
Just started working with service desk plus. I will post back with an update after I work with the product for a while.
This is an easy to is helpdesk application. That's about it. I really wish they brought in some basic asset management like asset creation and recall. I have seen a lot of other apps tie in bar code reading, and if an app that can take inventory of my fridge can have a bar code scanner, I dont understand why this one can't have it. I mean tying problems to an asset is basic trend analysis and a barcode scanner and basic asset management would be really helpful. ***Asset management is in 5.2*** Thank you for the information. The app never notifies you through push notifications. I have everything turned on but it still does nothing. My whole IT team has this issue on android and iphone. So instead of just being notified while on call, you have to peroidically check for new tickets. I even contacted their support and they were not helpful.
The app seems pretty good so far, it shows me everything I need and syncs up well. It would be handy to be able to sort the requests by priority so maybe a feature to look at in the future
Experience is good I have an issue that in mobile version when we close the ticket it don't show error by which the ticket is not able to closed .
Suggest some big improvement on mobile app part. 1.GUI shall be make little more user friendly n modern look. 2. it should allow to open ticket for all templates/ service catalogue and not only default incident only.
poor modifications. copy paste functionality removed. UI is not at all user friendly. Dropdown takes too much time to bring up the options. Very Poor Modifications.
One of the all purpose apps for doing the best at your job for troubleshooting and successful IT Help Desk. Makes your job a lot more efficiently and quicker on finding the problems and making you a pro.
The website input fields and the application input fields are different. This is a major issue.
Logged in on old phone. Now I can't get in to see tickets with new phone. Terrible.

This app has made my life at work so much easier. Super fast to submit a ticket, I can input plenty of information, plus I can see all updates, added notes and even who is holding my ticket up from being completed. Takes 20 minutes to submit a ticket on the website.
Navigation and replying to tickets is hard to use, poor editing capabilities, misplaced cursor and text spacing issues, sorting tickets is bad, overall is not fast to use
Better, but still trash. Replying is better, but much of the rest is painful to use. Not all views are available as they previously were or are currently available on desktop. I cringe when i have to use this app.
Unable to create new requests or access templates. I must go to the one, single, thread I created and reply from there to ask a new question or to report an issue. Of course our education department would choose an application that doesn't work.

Terrible and useless. I can't submit any tickets. Once I select the final category, no matter what it is, the app crashes.
Needs performance improvement! UI seems good but without speed, not worth using the app. Browser is faster.
Just updated to most recent version. Trying to see what a ticket says is impossible now. Text is to small and I can no longer zoom to read it.
I wish it were as up to date as the website. there are some options that are not available on the app but it works great for creating tickets in the field.
Can't even see the correct Request Filter... Why can't we create our own like we do on desktop... Also you can't even unassign a ticket... Very limited functionality..
App works great on my Samsung Tab6. One little quirk. The repky listing in a ticket is not sorted chronologically.
It is against Google Play stores rules to force a user into rating your app in the application. You are seeing this because that's what your app just did when I tried to complete a ticket.
Works fine, would be useful to be able to setup more than 1 account that we could switch between.
Good but simple. Wish that work logs had more function. Start. Stop. Make it easier for field tech
Been using for a year never had an issue. As an IT engineer I really on this when away from my desk/laptop.
Horrible. The worst app I have ever had on my phone. None of the basic features I use work correctly, and many do not work at all. The desktop version is largely pretty good, and so the only way to access a functional Service Desk Plus is to bypass my phone and connect remotely to my desktop through a personal laptop.
