ServiiGo
Unlike DLNA based apps, ServiiGo uses a feature of the paid version of Serviio, Serviio PRO, that works over the internet as well as at home. This means you can now access all your media using 3G/4G mobile networks and WiFi hotspots away from home.
Designed with small phones up to large tablets in mind, and optimised to work with the way that Serviio delivers content, ServiiGo is the way to access your media on the go.
This is a free and ad supported version which lacks some nice to have but non-essential features.If you like ServiiGo and find it useful, please considering buying 'ServiiGo Donate Key' as a way to say thank you and support future development. Note: ServiiGo requires the paid version of Serviio, Serviio PROServiiGo requires Serviio PRO v1.2 or greater (1.5 is recommended) which you can download from http://www.serviio.orgYou will get a free 15 day evaluation license for Serviio PRO during which time you can evaluate Serviio PRO and ServiiGo. After that period you will need to purchase a Serviio PRO license as the API that ServiiGo uses is only available in the PRO edition of Serviio.

Linux uses must compile ffmpeg with libx264 support to use the 'Enhanced' profile on Android 4.0+. If you have a low end NAS, you may need to switch to the 'Standard' profile as x264 encoding is more CPU intensive for the server.

hey very convenient app to use when you have a Serviio server at home. Keeps stopping right before the end of each song stating an "unknown" error. This forces the user to constantly have to hit the skip next button to go on to the next song prematurely before the song is ended really needs to have some work done on the error resolution or have the program retry if it hits an error streaming an audio file that way the user is not bothered by having a skip forward you if they leave the data area
It works... But it doesnt make sense that i have to pay for serviio pro and yet still get hammered with ads in this app. Serviio is definitely worth paying for but the app is definitely not needed if i have to put up with ads. Overall... Hard pass.
Doesn't work for me either, WiFi or doesn't find anything automatically and added manually on the go same problem but works fine both locally and on the go via webbwrowser so why not on this app? So easy in the webbrowser actually much easier than this
Really reliable and solid player for Serviio content. Tried umpteen dlna/upnp players first which would lose connection regularly. Even big names lake v*c player did that. Very impressed with servigo. Next step will be to see if it can work remotely on the internet, not just on my local network.
Does not work. Connects to server,but all files folders show as empty. All works fine on TV, so problem is with app.
Great app, very useful. Also really good to see the new version compatible with Serviio v2.0.
I can't get it to work on local or public networks with Serviio 2.2.1, (SSL enabled, self signed) should I downgrade to 2.1?

It doesn't show any audio files from its server. Other players are able to find them.
The app looks OK but before buying serviio pro and serviigo, does it work with chromecast?

Have now solved my issue with the app (assigning my profile to each folder in Serviio) and it works like a charm. Highly recommended.
Great streaming media server and the Android app works flawlessly. Considering it is developed by one dude it is a miracle. The cost is well worth it. Thanks

Awesome App! I've been using TVersity for 10+ years, but could never find a mobile app for it. Finally found Serviio and wish I switched sooner. Only things this app needs is a sync option (including playlists) and ability to hide more items from view.
Does what it says and allows local and remote access to Serviio. Only issue I currently have is no Chromecast support but as far as I'm aware that was due to come at some point. Well done to the developer for the amount of work put into this and the Serviio Droid apps. 4 Stars until Chromecast streaming available, other than that, a top app which people should purchase the Donate key for. EDIT still awaiting chromecast support
*Update - sideloaded onto my Asus Google Nexus Player and the browser works great except I am unable to play anything. There is no play button. I am a longtime user of Serviio Pro. I love this app so much, I donated. I just purchased a Nexus Player for the hope of using it but, I can't find it in the play store on that.
Have used this app for several years and it works great to access my audio, video and online library while out and about via the Internet. Performance over my Verizon data or some free WiFi is excellent. However, some of my recent rips to .MKV format will not play sound. And in one recent case sound but no video. Not sure the issue but would be happy to work with you (Will) to solve the problem.
