Crashes on startup on both me and my wifes phone. This started today. Usually we are kinda happy, but today it's unusable for both of us. EDIT: Clearing the cache seems to have solved the issue, atleast for me. We do how ever have the same issues as others. Eg. Slow connection times etc. Which is why Im changing the review to only 3 stars. The app has not been updated in ages.
I share my room with housemates but this app would only allow single session. What happens is if someone leave this app in their background after using it, no one else is able to open the door and "BUSY" sign would be displayed within the app. To CANDY HOUSE - You guys sure do have solutions to solve this issue. Regard the latest access to the app as valid and invalidate whoever had the app running in background. It's a nonsense that this problem occurs when using it with several people.
[After 4 months of use] It is a good device and has worked as expected most of the time. App is simple to use. Once the app stopped connecting with the lock and had to reconfigure the whole thing. Support is almost nonexistent, only forums where the answer is pretty much to always reset everything. Make sure TO ALWAYS HAVE A KEY AVAILABLE BECAUSE YOU MAY GET LOCKED OUT *WISH LIST: 1.Improve Reliability. 2.An external keypad (like the august one). 3.A WearOS app to unlock from smart watches.
The latest Android version is complete rubbish. I keep receiving the error message "Token Expired" and I can't get rid of the message to log back in. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling. Turning BT on and off, nothing makes a difference. Where can I download a previous working version?
It really needs a one touch unlock widget. The device is kinda useless without the wifi adapter to begin with, after I get one of those I am sure I'll like it better. I dont really like the geofencing auto unlock thing, a one-touch widget to unlock would make it worthwhile.
Clearing storage/data did the trick. Great app. Our keys were cut bad, but we haven't bothered getting it fixed with this app. It's great. Customer service is best in class. Friends may call you iron man.
There should be widget or shortcut buttons implemented that we can add to the home screen to lock/unlock the door. Right now, I have to rely on 3rd party apps such as stringify,ifttt,google home etc to do so, which adds latency to the lock reaction time.
this product is absolutely great for apartments & senior citizens & people who have Falls . excellent for 911 to get into your apartment instead of waiting for the key man!! unfortunately the only bad things I find our network issues( out of control of candy house) I like to see add widget & shortcuts to open & lock. plus maybe a hardware Bluetooth keychain dongle button so friends family can get in without installing an application $25+ add a 911 Google voice feature that keeps the door unlock
I'm a Kickstarter backer and despite so much criticism which I read in the internet, I never had any issues. Not the hardware, nor the software. Great device and software! Does what I expected. Thanks guys!
Using Sesame Mini, good for first 2 month, but after latest update cannot connect using bluetooth anymore, tried to use other android device but no success. now I can only lock unlock using web API.
ever since I updated the app the lock disappeared I tried reconnecting it and it will not reconnect it says it's registered to someone else which is me! Now the app is useless to me and the lock is too!
The app is slow and flakey. I've given up on the wifi dongle. Now, the app started generating open/close notifications every minute!
My lock suddenly could not connect to my phone. Till now I have followed all kinds of instructions ie reset., unlink etc but yet It could not work. Pls help.
randomly unlocks my door throughout the day. no unlock features are turned on. i don't have WiFi module. this thing is scary bad.
Can't unlock the door with Google Assistant. Sesami Google Assistant provides worse user experience just looping the explanation...
The best smart lock but would be great a feature that let you to schedule the open action.
"Disconnected" too many times during connection. It's too slow. Still same thing
You may have to add guest three times prior to the app accepting your guest. Come on guys fix this. Its a pain for us owners.

Sesame hasn't worked properly in over a month. Says "Sesame Found" but wont connect or do anything. Even though it won't connect, it still makes sure to send me a battery warning everyday saying the level on my NEW batteries are low.
Recently upgraded to Android 9 and then the lock doesn't work anymore. Updated(10 May 2019): After upgrading to Android 9, my phone could not connect to the lock at all. I tried to re-install the app but still not working. Eventually I needed to reset the lock. Then re-config and register the lock with my phone again. Now working fine. However, I would need to authorize the guests again.
