Ever since the last update it keeps disconnecting from the internet/data. No other apps my son have are having this issue. He can even stream Netflix and it runs perfect. We have an extremely good wifi. Never have issues on any other app or device. But since the last update, this app on my son's pad and my iPhone has constant issues. Please help me fix. My son cries every time it stops working because it happens so much.
my 2.5yr old toddler LOVES this app. its easy for her to navigate on her own for the most part. it has a great selection of really fun games for ages 2 & up. her favorite is "ernie dinosaurs". it has alot of videos & songs. this is the best free sesame street app i have ever downloaded. it can get a little buggy sometimes but all you have to do is restart it. i havent had consistent crashing issues.
The games are great, but every single video 4 seconds in crashes and won't play. Support told me this happens sometimes when traffic is too high, but it happens every time, every video, every time of day. About to just delete it as it's very disappointing
My severely autistic son can't live without this app. He somehow manages to navigate it , though it eludes me how this is even possible. Where there's a will there's a way I guess. We had an error on this app after the July 2021 update. For some reason this update hadn't propogated to our devices. I posted a bad review about the issue and the dev responded within 24 hours. The downtime caused a crisis in our house, but the dev responded quickly which is great. Many thanks.
Worked the first hour now it doesn't work at all. Says "the server refused the connection". Literally any time I click on something I get that message. We tried it on 3 tablets and 2 phones and each got the same message.
my young lad loves sesame street and it's cool to have an app that is so accessible. The cast feature is really buggy though and almost never works and couldn't find any support options in app. Show is great but app needs work.
My son loves this app. He plays is mainly on his Amazon Fire Tablet. However, recently none of the videos will play and im not sure how to fix it. The games load and play but none of the videos. Please fix!
I kept getting "unable to start/play video" error messages. I've gone through numerous TS steps and now I can't even redownload the app. I'm starting to think this app is no longer compatible with my Note9. :(
Very well thought out app fix these minor issues and stars will move from 3 to 5 The videos skip at beginning, some of the games work, and not all the sesame Street videos are on it, i.e. dance like an animal.
Can't even create an account. Keep getting an "invalid response" notice. Tried 3 different emails and names and none of them worked. Disappointing, I was really looking forward towards this app for my 2 year old.
I like the graphics and how to characters do sound like they do on the show, but the minigames freeze during gameplay. there are a lot of games on there that look like theynwould be fun for me to show my daughter but this needs some work
The app is amazing and my son loves playing with his favorite characters. He's learning so thats another plus. However, it would be nice if the game with Cookie Monster, the Cookie Games, was able to be played. The game is in need of an update to work with current Android devices.
Doesn't work! I've installed it twice and it won't load. Everytime I open the app it gives me a loading error and says aww shucks. I can't Log into or sign up for an account it just says error.
Although my daughter likes the games in this app, she also gets incredibly frustrated as every activity and button you press takes a long time to load, esp in the interactive storytime. Speed it up people.
My daughter loves this app! She loves watching the videos and is just starting to play the games. Unfortunately, the app has stopped working because it doesn't work with the new android updates. Please update the app!
Lots of good content, but also lots of broken content. Recommend removing content that is oldest or least used to provide only quality content. Also removing or fixing broken content as many games don't launch.
I would LOVE this app. however, my toddler has discovered the in app volume button, and why does this exist? the volume I have already set is appropriate. I don't need the app to decide that top volume is something anyone in the room wants to happen.
I want to rate this higher but there isn't a Chromecast version and I no longer have a Firestick.. I am really sad about this as my son is really excited about a lot of the content.
Can't get this app to work at all. We used it faithfully with our roku tv and downloaded today to our tablet because it stopped working with our tv. Neither are working and provide an error message. Is there any support for this?
My kids love this app. Started at 1.5 up until 5. It does not force you to watch advertisements or download other things.
Only a handful of games work. Most freeze on load screen, characters are replaced with black boxes, or sound works and the screens frozen
The app works great on my phone but the videos will not play on my tablet. I don't want my kid on my phone all day. Can this be fixed. I kept getting a message that read "unable to play video aww shucks". Other than that this is a good app.
This app constantly crashes, freezes and restarts my tablet. Son loves it if it weren't for all the issues ... would be a grest 5 star app
Hit or miss with most of these games. Some days they work, other days only some of them work, and most days none of them even load. Wouldn't recommend for any parent, save yourself the headache of having to tell your kids to wait for a neverending load screen.
Its a nice game my siblings love it but my mom keeps trying to get into the partents thing and it never works she puts her email but it keeps saying invaild email can you just make this work?? I mean the glitch is just a waste or time for the game
My child loves the app, but I'm wondering why there is not a character icon for Julia (who my child truly enjoys). It is important kids get to see a neurodivergent character as often as their other favorite muppets outside of Autism Acceptance Month.
Volume should be a bit more stable; some videos and games are significantly louder or quieter than others. Often, we have to turn volume nearly all the way up for one thing, only to have the speakers nearly blown out by the next. Another issue is the awkward places most videos cut out, and how the endings are almost all jarringly abrupt. Games don't always load either, and when they do they sometimes have important UI buttons under the "heart" button. Bad design, there.
