App is on a very basic level. Not user friendly. Account History is not real time for online transactions. Only account balance is accurate. Statement of Account is also messy. Not professional. There's a offer showing in the top of statement. Credit/Debit columns and Description column is so messy. Please refer a statement of a another bank (BOC, Peoples, NTB) and make like that professional. Thank you!

This app need some improvements. Add biometric authentication for login. need to update transaction details realtime and should display clearly and sorted way. UI can update and tapping back button should work isntead of asking logout. for logout you can add new button in app top menu. need lots of improvements and should let user to change personal details also for some extent.

NOT User friendly!! For an online banking system, seylan doesn't support 2FA but prevents from right clicking anywhere on the website for pasting username, password, account numbers. Preventing right click/paste is not a security feature, it's very inconvenient!!

Several times i had to reset passwords when i was in emergency situations.sometimes i had to re install the app to get successfully log in.Do something to improve this.Using of the app makes people to think better to go to the bank rather than use it.

Worst ever interface Need to change password every month , I was using the app for about 1 year and had to contact the customer care plenty of times regarding the app Try make it more user friendly like fingerprint assess or verification code sent to email or mobile number so then we could easily reset the password 3 invalid attempts and need to contact customer care always which they will contact us only after few business days , really disappointed with the app developers , try fix it out

UI is not friendly at all. Come on developers there has to be a navigation function to go back. It is a primary function of every app. How did you guys miss that. Evertime I touch on the back button, the app is developed to "log out" from the session. It seems that bank has no interest in updating the app and come up with some fixes. This is the worst online banking app that i've ever used so far.

It's good enough considering the bank doesn't charge an annual fee for this service. The app is more or less the same as the web page. I prefer to use the web page, since it doesn't force me to turn off developer settings. Basic functionality is there in both. Other banks have better apps, but they charge 800 LKR or more annually to maintain them. Personally, I prefer it this way. I need only the basics.

Bloddy useless app, same password doesn't work after trying to to relogin. Then they lock the account and we have to call their card center and hear how wonderful their app is and how we can't even type a frickin password properly! Worst APP!

I am a long time customer of seylan bank but when comes to the experience with this app I must say this is one of the woooooo...rst app I ever experienced. Always logout citing not secure connection issues while I use most secure private wifi connections. Really sick with this app 😡😡😡

Worst when it comes to user friendliness, simple tasks like checking past transaction history on savings account isn't possible for some wired reason. P.S. I gave 2 star rating earlier due to lack of user friendliness, basically same issue I faced 1 year ago still there not a tiny improvement at all. Whole world moving ahead Sri Lanka in full speed reverse due to these kind of people.

After the latest update when I try to sign, it pops out a msg and say can't use when the developer options enabled in the phone. This is un expected, coz users choose what to enable or disable on their personal devises, that's the user's choice. It is unfair to impose laws from the developer side to users like this. It is bad example of improved user experience. Better you guys fix this.

When using facility suddenly displaying YOUR CONNECTION IS NOT SECURE message and log out automatically. After when we try to facility your attempt was not successfully reason could be message displaying.. it delay or cannot do our urgent transactions at the time.. It is not good for the bank. Please rectify the errors as customer easy without inconvenience. Other than facility is good,easy and user friendly. Easy to maintain and easy understandable

This app doesn't deserve 1 star even. Just because the UI is so outdated and is not customer friendly at all. After you log out from the app, you cant log back. It says 'the app might not be properly closed'. And the branch of the bank list is not updated. Some branches are not available. I mean why on earth are you creating an "online banking app" when you can't even transfer cash to the desired account and branch. How hard can it be? Shame that ya'll can't create a proper mobile banking app

After the recent One UI 2 upgrade with android 10 the seylan app in android is not working. There is no login interface that appears. the login window just appears and keeps disappearing. We are unable to use it currently. Can you pls look into this urgently.

Transaction history doesn't work for many years but still not rectified. The other drawback is unable to access multiple usernames from same device. Other than that the app is kind of OK to use the basic functionality of a banking app.

First of all it is possible to do banking activities through this app. But this is a never updating and and ensures the most atrocious online banking experience. This app strong rules on passwords ensuring that the password is extremely week and no way to strengthen. Keeps on reminding that the connection is insecure. It even brings me to the point wishing I could close this bank account. wish I could give zero stars.

Worst experience in a mobile banking app.. it logs us out automatically from the account and then gives the error your last logout is not successful.. All the other banks have a metrix log in system where as this bank doesn't even have a proper system to do a online transfer

Very poor app when comparing with the other banking apps... UI is outdated, once logout from the app, cant re-loggin to the app. And it is beeter if the user has a option to delete 3rd party beneficiary accounts.

This is also one of the worst mobile banking apps in Sri Lanka. Why? 1. You can't use this app if your mobile, developer options are enabled. 2. Login Name and Login Id Validation part is failed. Whether you input valid details this app will show it wrong id or password. 3. Worst User Interface. This app has an entry-level UI that was used 10 years ago in the app industry. 4. Still no option to reset your password. 5. No fingerprint login. your app is failed. Update it or change your developer

Edit: Broken. Again. Do you test the app before putting it up?! Developer settings are not your problem lol. Please fix ASAP. Why try fixing something when it isn't broken? Why force an update? Not like you're adding new features or, more importantly, are security related.
