Sezzle - Buy Now, Pay Later

I have found different debit/credit cards and they only accept one of them. The rescheduling of payments is grea!!! however choosing that option causes you to not be able to place another order until it is completely paid off! Reporting to the credit bureaus is FANTASTIC! Honestly, no others do that. so I would say 2 and a half stars is fair because it is both positive but negative! If they fixed the negative things...instant 5 star! But still would recommend for those trying to build credit!

This app is great and straightforward. You have a limit and you shop and pay based on that. If it would get more merchants, I think it would match the likes of Affirm of Klarna. Definitely better than so called Zip(QuadPay). One minor drawback is you can't pay more than the amount due. Unless I missed that but definitely worth it still and thats just a small thing. Look forward to more merchants.

Sezzle is the 2nd best pay in 4 app next to Klarna. It gives you a much higher balance off the rip. $600 for me. Making payments on time or early is key to get the most out of this. As with all apps like this, you won't get much out of them unless you have a few hundred in the bank already. What separates Sezzle is the initial high limit, no credit check and ease of use. It works as it should at the shops it says it will. And it works well. This makes getting a new Xbox a breeze. Essential app.

So much better than putting on the credit card and then you find yourself not paying it in full monthly, adding interest. With Sezzle you can get your purchase, interest free, and pay it off in 4 payments. I have almost completely stopped using my credit and pay with cash. I highly recommend, the relief of not having a credit card payment with interest is fabulous!

I've been using Sezzle for over a year, loved it & recommend it to friends. Not anymore. Lately so many glitches in the app and website. I keep having to call them to fix issues with rescheduling. On free reschedules I get charged $5 everytime. And the option to reschedule remaining dates appears and disappears weekly. It's not just me, all my friends having same issues.

The app does not allow me to make a payment. As the number of fields available to enter the 'OTP' is more than the number of digits in the 'OTP' itself. This is very annoying especially considering I've been using the app for quite some time now and also am unable to reach Customer Support to resolve the issue. Even though I have as of now made the payment along with the 'Late Fee' the entire experience was bad enough to actually get me to write a negative review. This is really disheartening.

Update: Your response is unacceptable. My payment was NOT "failed."All payments have been taken from my checking account yet the sezzle account shows one payment still processing for almost a month and after all payments made they reported to the credit bureaus that I have a late outstanding balance for the payment they have left in limbo. Payment was withdrawn from my checking account March 23rd. Get it together! They are hurting my credit. My score dropped due to their false reporting.

I loved this platform- until I had a tech issue. One of my payments has been stuck in "processing" for a month. I chatted for 3 weeks with customer service, then the issue finally got "escalated" to the tech team. That was a week ago. I asked for an update today and was told it could take weeks for tech to resolve the issue. I'll be closing my account if that's the case. Afterpay/Klarna/Zip have much faster resolutions.

I really like these split in four companies. Sizzle is one of my favorites. It keeps it simple easy to use & easy to keep up with. not sure if it reports to credit bureaus but my credit has gotten better not worse so that's a win! I definitely recommend them. just make sure you don't over spend. if you can't actually cover it with what you have don't do it.

**I would like to see the in app search work for searching for items instead of store names** I have spent 1000s using this app. It's a great service to have. My latest purchase gopro hero 10 Update: I use this service alot they make it so convenient and easy to use. I have purchased so many items that I normally wouldn't afford. Got great gear for my backpacking this year. great service. the only thing I'd really like to see is 4 monthly payments. I'd be able to use it more often

I did really enjoy this app and even gave it 4 stars at one point however they seem to be removing the stores that I shop at for things like door dash and Uber Eats. I live in a rural area and these are things I just won't use or need. It has become extremely frustrating trying to get through to their help desk you wait for 20-30 minutes and then get kicked out without help 😡 If you call you have limited options to select from. Very disappointing 😞 that I haven't gotten an answer in 2 weeks!

Decent app, recently because less transparent and more sneaky. They used to allow you 1 free reschedule per order and you could also at the same time reschedule future payments as well for free. recently they have jumped on the money hungry wave and now you cannot reschedule future payments @the same time. it's an extra $5 a peice. I'm a little disappointed in you guys.

Constantly been pissing me off lately. Figured I'd try adding my bank account and seeing how that worked. Big mistake! Not only did it attempt to take out same day but one of the transactions failed and it makes me unable to purchase anything! I cannot purchase anything until it's finished "processing" It's already freaking finished so let me clear it up already! Now I'm being told I have to wait another week! So freaking stupid!

Useless. No way to tell what your limit is. Decline message just days make smaller purchases. The whole point of a deferred payment service is to make larger purchases. ***Update***. BAD TO WORSE! As requested I reached out to customer support. Automated response said I would hear back in 24 hours. After 72 hours no response so I sent another message. I got a response in a little under a week that was more useless than your app. Telling to try again in 25 hours. Still not working.

I've updated my review from 5 stars to 3 because I used to be able to reschedule an entire payment schedule for free in one go, and now I have to work with each individual payment and then charged $5 for each one past the first payment, instead of being able to move my entire payment schedule back by one day for free. That's was a brutal surprise.

I love this app!! sezzle makes any purchase, big or small, super easy to complete. Their customer service team is great, I had an issue with my account and Eloise was able to not only get me squared away with fees that had unfortunately incurred but also was able to help me set my new payment method up with zero hassle!! she was the absolute best, I told her if I could give her 10 gold stars I would but the review only let me do up to 5. I highly recommend anyone use Sezzle!!!

After using sezzle for quite a while I tried to change my expiration date on my debit card. There is no option for that so I go to add new card and it tells me it's not supported. Well that's funny because it was supported a few days ago when I bought something and all this time I have used sezzle. I'm not sure how you plan to support yourselves a payment out my account now for all the orders I currently have but I guess lmk. It's supported on AfterPay 🤷‍♀️🚮

Ever since the end of last year I have been having issues with sezzle. I've spoke to so many different agents, a lot of my emails got ignored. They just don't care and their customer service is trash. It's been since December of last year and I've been arguing with them about a refund that they owe me and they still have not given it to me even with proof of the amount that was refunded. Afterpay & klarna are so much better, their agents actually help and can process refunds.

When you need to reschedule a payment they only do one payment where before it would just push that one and all future ones. Now if you reschedule you end up with 2 payments due at same time. It's like they are trying to get you not to be able to pay!! Once my last few are paid off I won't be using sezzle anymore!!

I used to LOVE this app. I could shop whenever I wanted and then go into the app and (for free) change the remaining paydates to mu paydays. Now you can only change one payment for free. To get the remaining two on my paydays would cost me $5 each. I could have lived with that. But to not let me place a new order because I changed the dates? Well I guess you're going to save me money! Thank you for making it more difficult to pay AND for not wanting my money! Peace out!

I'm not exactly impressed with it yes the option to pay overtime is great but the the virtual card that was given to me does not ever work. Yes I I have made all my payments and been using sezzle for well over a year. Not only that but not all stores carry the sezzle feature at checkout. Which creates hassles at checkout. This why only give 3 stars.

I have used Sezzle in the past and thought it would be beneficial to download the app. It's very handy and am very grateful for the option to pay in installments. I don't however have all of the options available. When I do a search on certain companies, they don't come up, but they come up on my husband's app. I've tried to uninstall and install again. Even tried to see if it's an update issue.

A life saver in many ways, easy to use and if you set up with your bank account for auto payback you can't miss any payments. Highly recommended!!

I believe I figured out how they scam people. Since my payment date is close, they've logged me out of the app and when I try to login, it says unknown error occured. No matter which credentials I try with, the error is same on app, website and everywhere. Basically, they charge INR 40 per day for late payment and it'll eventually be added in my total bill. Never shopping or using Sezzle again in my life.

Declined me for no reason and said that I didn't provide the "correct" information and to recheck it.There are plenty of buy now pay later apps that I use successfully all of the time and have no issues with approval and pay them off early all of the time. Only reason I wanted to try Sezzle is because it says it reports to credit bureaus and I wanted credit for all of the loans I pay off. I don't need to mess with one that is obviously glitchy. Uninstalled app. Waste of time.

So helpful when buying from the US but godawful at fixing errors. It keeps telling me my debit card is expired. I go to check what's on file and....no the right date (years away) is fine. Tried emailing them and the person didn't seem to understand what I was saying. I suppose you can call it a convenience tax. It's maddening.

Love this app! Love this feature especially for someone with mediocre credit, I was able to make purchases I wasn't to before! Also as you earn your way up and keep up with payments, your allowances increase. This also helps your credit score too!

Run!!!! Truly Awful experience. This will hurt you more than help. Predatory business that wants your money and doesn't care about you as a customer/client. Since I have been using sezzle it has charged me $35 late fee when the payment was paid. Or it takes the payment, then gives it back in order to charge the late fee. You don't know they reversed the payment until its too late. This is against business practices legally! Livid!!!!!

My debit card was stolen and cancelled. I tried updating my temporary card to avoid late payments, but sezzle wouldn't allow it because the experation date was in 2 months. Scandalous BS. Customer service/Help did nothing to resolve the issue, I just had to pay the 10$ fee and have not been refunded.

Seriously with the changes the past couple weeks, I'm not happy. The limits now are crazy. Also, when I go to make early payments, it declines both cards on file and I have the $$ in my accounts. (or I wouldn't be paying early)
