For the most part I love the app. convenient and easy to use, but like the comments I've been reading I have the Samsung S9+ also my phone did updates and now I cant use it. I've unreinstalled and installed again and still doesnt work! I'm annoyed and frustrated because I use all the time. the app itself had not been updated since Sept. 13 2017!! really?!..... ggrrr....!!!!!
Needs work This app will get the basics done but it definitely needs some new updates. The look of the app looks like it got barley worked on needs to look more organized and user-friendly. You can't name accounts so you tell which one is which. There isn't a transactions section so you can't look at the activity on all accounts you can only look at individual accounts. Other then that it just needs more work.
Typically, the app is great. After the update that rolled out Feb. 22 (for me and my Galaxy S9+) the app no longer loads properly, recommending a reboot, telling me the service is temporarily unavailable. until an update of the app happens, I will be unable to use it.
Good app, running it on Galaxy S8. No real issues with the functionality at this time. I appreciate the steps sffcu is taking to catch up and stay on top of technology and data security issues.
i keep having to go to settings to restablish fingerprint access. Sometimes, remote deposit photo is rejected, no matter what I do. This seems to be an intermittent problem; the last few deposits were accepted the first time (same phone).
As stated by another person -- on a Galaxy S9+ here -- after updating my phone to the latest OS and the app fails to open and there is no way to move toward authentication. I'm further alarmed by the fact that the app hasn't seen an update since 2017.
Always thought the app ran really well until I upgraded to the Note 9. Now the app won't open and it seems like I'm not the only one having this issue. Update: As of March 5th, 2019 they have fixed the above issue.
Did most present software update and now app will not work. states temporarily unavailable if problem continues restart device. well I have restarted device I dont know how many time now for same warning, have even tried uninstalling restarting and reinstalling nothing. use to be really helpful now just worthless
For the people who are complaining about name change, what's the problem? The Branch wants to expand farther out and it would be a little more difficult to with the name Sioux Falls, which most people that don't live here even know how to pronounce. The app still works exactly the same, the people working there are the same familiar and friendly people we are used to seeing. Thank you kindly to them.
I've been very impressed with the service and I will recommend you to anyone. Case in point, there was an attempted fraud on my week old account and it was resolved very quickly.
I find it a slap in the face as a customer that my bank didn't even give me a heads up, that their name was going to be changed. No email or massive text sent out. Just happened over night. Kicked me out of my app and I had to deal with BS for 2 days before my online app started functioning properly.
the only that bugs me is how often you have to reset your password. we don't have a computer and just use our phones so we have to call the bank just to have them reset it. what doesn't make sense is I use my thumbprint which is never going to change
Huge glitches, cannot even log in to check my balance. So frustrating. Have uninstalled and installed several times and still does not work.
Very interactive. Works well for my business. Samsung had problems with program. sffcu fixed problem in a few weeks. Missed not being able to log on. Great job for a small bank to compete with the big boys. Proud to be a member of this credit union.
when it works it's nice. for some reason my account seems to get frozen and it's a nightmare to get logged back in. temporary passwords dont work. then pin numbers are emailed that never get delivered.
Completely unusable with Android Pie. Doesn't look like they plan to fix it either. Update: Newest update fixed everything, great work guys!
Stopped working after update. SFFCU seems slow at reacting to the problem. It has been 3 weeks since it has stopped.
app fails to open after Feb 4th verizon update update on Samsung galaxy s9+, tells me it can't connect to service and to reboot device, rebooting does nothing.
Very Very unhappy with the new name and app! Is it "Venmo", "Emu", why not SFFCU? Very difficult to navigate the bill pay. Not happy! Really? Your responses say everything will be fixed by 2019!! Ridiculous!
Update: without being able to link the card to apple or Samsung this is less useable for me. it's a pretty good app. It would be 100% better if we could use samsung pay.
pretty good. wish I could add payees for epay on app. all other functions, mobile deposit, transfers, etc are great!
Super easy to use and transfer money. Wish my other banking app was this straight forward. Love the fingerprint login - so quick and handy.
I absolutely hate how tou have to change your password so often! The rest of the app is alright but nothing compared to USAA or and of rhe other large banks.
no access, galaxy s9 user. this has been a known issue for a month and its not fixed yet. what about your customers?

This app does the job for the most part. It is missing some features like viewing graphs based on expenses for all accounts and how the charts react to touch can be annoying at times. Another thing that I wish was available is being able to view transactions further back than one year. This isn't possible from either the app or the website unless you consider the PDFs a solution which is far from ideal. Something I personally would like is a dev log to see what updates are being made.
