The random ringing people mention is the separation alarm, turn that nonsense off and it's fine. With that said, unrelated to any settings, you have to force stop the app to close it, which is garbage. I get why you might want it to always be there, but not why there is no option to stop it. Otherwise works well enough for what the devices cost.

Unfortunately the device and the app (at this time) are entirely unusable. I can't even speak to how will it works because of a glaring design flaw. As several reviews have mentioned, for serveral phone types (I use Google pixel 2) the "+" button in the app, which is required to pair the device, is completely inaccessible because it is under the home button bar. I'm just leaving another negative review in the hopes that this problem is fixed, but I'm not holding my breath. What a joke.

Worked great at first install. Tested it several hours later, won't work unless the app is opened back up. Kind of pointless if you don't know where your phone is or if the keys are missing. The device disconnects and that's why it stops working. Tried a new battery just in case, no improvement. If you bought one, my advise is to return it and get your money back. I've sent an email to the company to see if they have a fix. If the respond and have a fix, I will share it.

Wife thought she'd help me when i lose my keys . Tracker can not use the map or pgoto options. It disconnects when separated to far. and the you have to remember to reconnect it. If I could remember things then I wouldn't need it. To many bugs right now. not worth the money.. Plus side if they are right next to each other it works great. I have a Google pixel 2xl and run Android 9.0..after a month it no longer works

Neat concept, but app does not work properly. The settings option to turn off the seperation alarm for when the phone and device are seperated does not remain off once the app is fully closed. Once app is closed, the alarm switches back to the default setting of "on" which results in the phone and device randomly "chirping"each time the blu-tooth attempts to pair. This seemed to be a minimum of every 15 minutes. Had to return this to Kohls.

If I could give this zero stars, I would. I received this as a Christmas gift and I am unable to activate the fob. I have a Google Pixel 3 and this app is not usable due to a design flaw. It auto-populates the home and back buttons at the base of the screen. This is a problem because the + button I answered to connect the fob to the app. I called the 800 number for customer service and the guy on the phone was less than helpful told me to return the product since I can't use it. Wow.

Blue tooth connection volume. Momentary disconnection turns into blown eardrums because of the simplistic on/off settings for volume. Love / hate relationship with this product that is teetering towards discarding it completly because what would be essential(siren) routes into earbuds and deafens instead of maybe bypassing and coming out of the phone instead of blasting the ears. What do i know? Casual consumer. But fix the volume settings and controls in-app. As well as allow multiple safe zone

Device works perfectly. I read the low star rating reviews and it seems these customers did not read/follow the simple instructions. It took mear seconds to connect. The instruction booklet has a section giving a brief description of what each setting does; read it.

i guess it does it's main function ok. some problems tho. the camera doesn't work, just opens black screen. the map function doesn't work either, app crashes when i open it. i had to reconnect it after a reboot which was annoying. I'm never going to remember to do that whenever i reboot my phone.

Nice concept if it worked. App won't pair with Google Pixel 2XL. I've tried everything. No functions work. If I leave my bluetooth on as it requests, the app crashes and won't reopen. If I turn my Bluetooth off, app will open but request to turn on my bluetooth on. GPS, Wifi features don't work. Camera tab crashes phone. Nothing works, the device is functionless, won't pair correctly. Would be a great concept if it worked. Will change my rating if developer can offer me suggestions or workaround

Not good. Random notifications alone make this annoying which happened for me several times the first day. Sometimes to the locator and sometimes to my phone. New battery too. Not separation issues, just junk. Couldn't throw the locator away fast enough and now uninstalling.

Generally a good app/device. Not entirely intuitive, but even two years after the last update it works at least as well as expected and almost as well as hope. Now if I can just figure out how to set it up on my new phone...

Received the tracker thingy for my birthday and for the most part it works good. Connects fast and is very responsive. One thing I am not a fan of.... the distance, you walk from one side of your house to the other it disconnects an your phone will go crazy like someone's calling you, and it's a hassle to re connect it. Other than that it's decent won't complain NO ADS IS A PLUS

Figured out that the device will ring if you set your permissions to allow access only while in use, force stop the app, or your phone and the keychain get disconnected. There should be a button for the ringer to sound unless i havent found it yet. all and all pretty decent. though confusing.

Garbage Device and app work 10% of the time. I've been carrying it on my key ring for 5 months now and to find my keys using my phone I have to be within 5' the device never works by pressing button to find my phone keeps kicking off ring notification for where my phone might if anything it might vibrate but what good is that honestly don't know how major retail stores like Walmart allow for such garbage to be sold under their name. Go with Tile a bit pricey but it works pretty good actually!

when my son got this for me for Christmas the app wouldnt work on my moto x4. i contacted customer service. we exchanged several emails, and eventually their tech team basically created an updated version of the app that works on my phone. while initially frustrated that the version in the app store didnt work, there is nothing more i could ask for from their tech support. i will definitely consider their companies products in the future just because of such amazing support. thank you!!!

IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE PAIRING You MUST pair through the application. Open the application and press the bluetooth symbol in the top left, then there will be a + symbol on the bottom of the screen, press it and follow the instructions that will appear in order to pair. I was able to pair it this way. If you cant see the + symbol you may need to hide the navigation bar, I have a galaxy S10 and I needed to do this. Hope this helps people that got this for christmas like I did.

It all works perfectly. The key is to pair your phone through the app rather than pairing it while you are in your phone's Bluetooth screen.

It's fine I guess. But it has one HUGE issue: ANY TIME THD BLUETOOTH DISCONNECTS, IT PLAYS AN ALARM AT FULL VOLUME THAT YOU CANNOT CANCEL FOR SEVERAL SECONDS. I though my phone was possessed or something. It kept randomly ringing. So, sure, it works, but I absolutely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

I was given this as a gift. When I give it to pair device to my phone, I cannot. Because of the design, the add device button is below my home button bar (Google Pixel 2XL). I called customer service at 1 p.m. and there was no answer. I left a message... Obviously from all of these reviews, I don't believe I'm going to get a call back I will return an update this review if they ever fix that problem. Otherwise I have no way to know anything else.

I thought it was FANTASTIC so I bought 4 more! The only down side is the app can only handle 4 devices and I now have 5. Still absolutely love it Editing again to add I have a Samsung Galaxy S10+ Originally I had the same problems as the other 1 star reviews and had in fact left a 1 star review myself. Today (1/25/20) I had to use it since I lost all my keys and I had 1 device paired. I was surprised to see that I could see the buttons to add more devices and that it actually worked!

I got the SG tracker for Christmas . I thought it would be neat since I misplace my keys a lot. I would not recommend this product . Here are the reasons why It goes off when my keys and phone are in the same area. One night it went off every hour I thought the battery was low but it wasn't. It continues to go off at different time for no reason. I hope my daughter didn't pay to much for this tracker.
