SG USB Mass Storage Enabler
This application allows you to enable USB Mass Storage mode on select Samsung and Sony devices.
This will export your microSD card over USB as a mass storage device, this will NOT work with your internal memory due to hardware and software limitations.
You can also create shortcuts to easily toggle between UMS on and off.
Tested or reported working on:

Please support Xperia z5 compact, rooted with BusyBox and usb gadgets built in. the bug is that when enabling UMS the usb transfer is automatically changed by nougat to charge-only mode, not transfer files. so drive shows up on pc (as UMS!) but sdcard not mounted.
I Think This Works For Samsung Rooted Devices. I had used this and when i connect usb cable. It shows Connected is an installer!. Thanks!
Needs to be no root or I'm not installing (i can just copy the usb mass storage on my 2013 android 4.1.1 ematic egm 002 tablet to my 2016 android 6.0 LG K8 and 2017 android 7.0 LG K8 smartphones)
don't waste your time to install it, is not working tell that you have to reboot your phone
Doesn't work, phone is rooted but this app says it's not.
I can see a "removable disk" but it is not accessible "please insert a disk into removable disk"
total waste of time and effort
Tested on rooted Moto G2, G5, Xperia C and Xperia SP, worked on none of them
maybe you can enable mass storage after buy pro Version but this free verion is for nothing ... one Star is one star to much

"An error occured while identifying the SD Card..." I have a 32 gB SD card installed. The tablet is running Android 4.4.2 and it is rooted; I had SU grant full access to the App. Guess it just isn't compatible with my tablet :( I so wanted this App to work. Being stuck with MTP is horrible: I can't use TeraCopy or any of my usual file sync tools, MTP is slow as molasses on big video files, and unstable as well. I hope the developer can extend this app to more models of tablets and phones!
It worked under my previous 4.2.2 Android. Doesn't seem to work now under kit kat Gummy. Anyway hope that this gets improved. But having said that and used this for quite sometime, this is a very good app.
S3 III i747 Confirmed Working CM10.2 Nightlies N3 N900A 4.3 OTA rooted not When i finally moved up to the 10.2 nightlies, i noticed that the app functioned properly. It partially functioned to the point of mounting as UMS, but would not properly "prepair sd card" when changed back to MTP on anything up to and including the 10.1.3 Stable. The only thing that could make this better is an added service to enable UMS automatically when connected to USB, then move back to MTP once disconnected. Update: Note 3 AT&T 4.3 rooted not working...
This app is great overall on my AT&T S4. Having weird issue where after I enter mass storage mode, and then unmount I get complaints of corrupt packages on the desktop.... weird.
ERROR MESSAGE : An error occurred while identifying the SD Cars. The card is either not ready or not properly inserted. If there is one inserted, please exit the application and try again, if it still doesn't work, please contact the developer via e-mail. Please go through it.
Hi there, I saw one review where one user managed to get the app to work on Kitkat after all, so I was hoping the best, but had no luck... We use smart phones to do assessments in a Non-Profit context and some of our procedures do not work anymore without Mass Storage Mode..... MTP is not refreshing fast enough and often requires reboot to display all new files and hence one looses too much time with it.... Happy to pay/donate for a working version! Thanks.
Works great on Jelly Bean but not KitKat. Widget icon always shows UMS Off regardless of current state. Hopefully it can be made to work on KitKat soon. Did the upgrade to KitKat and regret it greatly. Please get this app working on KitKat. Regards.
Requires root & busybox installation. After I installed this application I restarted my Verizon Ellipsis 7. Upon reboot, using this app I was able to successfully mount my 32gb SD card via USB Mass Storage. Thanks for the great functionality! I've missed my direct UMS connection.
Superb, exactly what I was looking for. I *never* use the MTP mode, and rely heavily on connecting my Galaxy note as a Windows volume. I was getting sick of the procedure to manually put the device in mass storage mode every time I connected to the PC, and this app makes it a breeze. Thanks!
It doesn't work on the note 3. It only comes up as a E:/ CD-ROM drive. Is there anyway to fix this. I would really love to use the sd card as a bootable for ubuntu.
I used to depend on this app, buy now that I'm running a kitkat ROM it no longer works.
In order to use this you also need a compatible kernel that permits the use of ums. In my case for the note 3 it's the compulsion kernel.
Not a good app. Didn't work for me. Kept saying phone isn't rooted even though it is. Every other app recognizes my phone as rooted. Appatently this one is good enough to determine that simple fact. Also, SuperSU asks for rooted permission for this app and still nothing. Now that is just stupid! lol
