ShaderPaper - Live Wallpaper Designer

Very good app, so far i have encountered no problems, however i would like them to add an option of making the animations even slower, at least half of the minnimum speed. The max speed seems too high. I am new to the app, so i may have been doing something wrong, but if it is possible i would like an option to make it slower. Also, could you make a new background: rgb rain? Effectively it's the same as the snow, but much slower with random coloured rain drops instead of snowflakes. Thanks!

this is easily the best LWP out there. only thing I wish were the ability to directly control colors; sometimes I just want to darken it or make it one or two colors instead of a whole rainbow. also I'm having a weird issue where it reverts back to an old setting and I have to go back to my preset to get it back. minor issues in an otherwise perfect wallpaper option

Glitches otherwise amazing! Presets don't work. After you click Apply, it may or may not apply. If you click lockscreen and home wallpaper, sometimes it works, sometimes not. Worst thing is every time you turn your phone off, it goes back to its default wallpaper. Your choice doesn't stick. I love the fireworks, I would give them a 5 if the glitches weren't so annoying.

By far my FAVORITE live wallpaper app. Its pretty to look at, and can be very calming for anyone with anxiety. My minor issues are that if I have a previous preset saved before I start a new one, it will just default back to the first preset a day or two later after I apply the second one, or the screensaver will disappear completely, leaving my wallpaper as a default android photo. I have found that clearing the data and starting with only one preset helps with issue #1. Unsure of issue #2.

It's a totally awesome live wallpaper app. It's insanely versatile and adaptable. My only issue is every time I turn my phone off, when I turn it back on it resets to a specific setting, no matter how many times I change it to something different. Uninstalling and reinstalling didn't solve the issue.

It's great but IT DOES NOT REMEMBER YOUR CHOICES. This is a dealbreaker for me. I keep running into a bug where whenever my phone restarts, my background switches to a previously applied preset, not the one that was applied before my phone restarted. It's annoying enough to take it down two stars. It should only remember my latest wallpaper application and not previously applied ones. I will update my review if this gets fixed.

I really like the app, but it's pretty unusable, after restarting my phone it switches back to default, and there are resolution problems, sometimes it looks fine, and sometimes it seems flipped with a black line through the middle, if this gets fixed I'll re review :) UPDATE: The problem is fixed, I have no problems and this is one of my favorite lwp apps.

Hi there! I love the concept and designs in this app, but over the past month or so, no matter which design I pick / edit / set as my default, before long my home screen and wallpaper automatically change back to the "Geodesic Tiling" setting (still cool, just not a favorite of mine), can this be fixed? Also, sometimes when returning to the home screen, the wallpaper will be squashed and only in a small portion of my screen (often the lower bottom right of it, to be specific). Thanks!

Love the apps and shaders. The one thing I can't figure out is how to get my selection to stick after a reboot. I have to turn my phone off every day for work, and it is annoying having to go and repick my selection every time. Edit : I've been using "apply" but it always reverts to default after a reboot.

Tons of programs. Some of them have bad colours, some have a black spot in the center, some don't line up with themselves, some glitch through the time scale, some of the originals aren't here. But chances are you'll find one you like. Edit: Looking forward to the new update!

This is a fantastic piece of work. Thank you for so much rich customization options. Though, I wish there was a way to change the FPS on the wallpaper. If there is, ignore that last statement. Maybe changing the time scale isn't reflected correctly in the FPS counter at the bottom of the screen. But that is only a very small thing to worry about. Still functions as described and best, no Adds. Thank you. If i could give you a small donation for your work I would.

the walpaper does not apply on the lock screen. this is pretty much the only reason i wanted this app. The app works on the homescreen. Another bug, if you try to place a wallpaper on both lockscreen and home screen, then you decide to change the homescreen with another wallpaper, it will cause the homescreen wallpaper to change from the second one to the first one after a while on its own, as if it was saved as a preset. tho it shouldn't. To avoid this i reinstalled the app.

Sorry but really wanting to like this app but constantly locks up my p30 pro when changing options or trying different visiuals. Often the screen comes up asking me to Wait/Close app etc. Quite a few selection's dont appear to be available as they're just a black screen despite changing the settings. Cant work out what colorize does apart from nothing. There seems to be a fair vew visuals to choose from but Ive only found a few that work for me. Wish all had the option to zoom and change colour

I was looking for a good live wallpaper and was super excited when I was able to put together and customize my own. I love to show it off because I feel it is super unique and the only one like it because with this live wallpaper app, you become the creator. ShaderPaper along with my own personal touch, helped me design my live wallpaper. I love it and can bet it's the only 1 of it's kind. TRY IT OUT! You have to see for yourself all the possibilities even with my old slow phone!

Lots of different wallpapers, each with great customization. A few take some time to load, but maybe my S7 isn't as new and shiny as I'd hoped. My main problem, is I can't set an animation as lockscreen only. This is an Android bug, rooting device might allow.

Great app! But... When looking at some of the shaders in the list, some appear just black when I click on them. Unknown if it's my phone (p30pro). Configuration seems a bit clunky and is it possible to change colors at all? Otherwise great app so far.. Much more options than hex shaders.

Brilliant app with a few issues. 1. The playlist time setting has a slider and declates its units as '(seconds)', but does not display the numeric value that is presumably set by said slider. 2. The developer has abandonded their domain, so you cannot email them.

This app creates some really awesome live wallpapers and I love discovering new patterns. My only complaint is that the wallpaper doesn't persist across reboots properly (an old one I selected is the one that comes up every time, regardless of how I select and set it).

Literally a free live wallpaper maker with no ads or in-app purchases. The developer also actually responds to errors. Anyone who is complaining about lack of features or templates can go find another app, I garuntee you won't find anything better for free with no microtransactions or ads.

Very fun to use, had a great time customizing the type of design and time for the live wallpaper, but I have a question, when you look up clock you get a widget for 8 bars, 2 of the bars in the middle, what are those? And what unit of time besides seconds, minutes, and hours, is it counting? Edit: they are orange, and there is i think 3?

So far the app has been working amazingly. There are a ton of presets that you can choose from and then further customize to fit your needs. If you value a high level of customization and trippy aesthetics this app is perfect for you.

this is amazing! i only have one complaint that keeps this from a 4 or 5 star review. ot would be amazing to get the fps to match my 90hz screen, but it doesn't even reach 60. edit - thanks for your reply! i know it will drain battery, but that has never been a problem for me, which is why it would at least be nice to have as an option :) edit#2 - awesome! i appreciate your responsiveness :D

It looks very nice and uses very little battery, I'm only giving 4 stars cause I'm running into a bug where when I set the background no pixel shade effect it reverts back to whatever setting I had it set to previously, maybe I'm doing something wrong I don't know.

I was not a fan of the other shader live wallpapers but this one is fantastic! Just a want, but I do wish there were more options for some of the screensavers an presets.. but even with just a few options for some of em, this is definitely deserving of 5 stars

This is real nice! Would like to be able to slow it down a lot more tho, even on minumum time scale many patterns move too fast. And being able to dim the pattern on homescreen would be nice, preferably only certain pages.

Very nice looking and efficient. The only problem I had was a preset that ShaderPaper kept defaulting to after every reboot (even after I deleted said preset). The only thing that fixed it was clear data, uninstall, and reinstall.

Incredible, beautiful wallpapers and to my surprise, I saw zero ads and no paid premium, getting the free version doesn't limit you. It would be cool if there was an option to pay, like just to support you guys because this is really cool.

Congratulations; you had me complaining to myself that there was too much content. Only critiques are that 'Colorize' is unintuitive, and can work differently for different shaders, and some respond to touch input but aren't labeled as such.

I love the walpapers but each wallpaper keeps getting reset to default after a few hours and its super annoying. Even with shader paper set to never sleep it resets the wallpapers to default after a few hours Im on the s21 ultra. The wallpapers are nice but unreliable.
