Pop-up ads after every "level". This game would take 5 minutes to finish if it weren't for the ads... instead it felt like I was spending as much time clicking no thanks as completing the levels. Because of this intrusive programming I have decided not to purchase any games from this company.
Really good idea but if an entire game is only 5min long its not ready for the store. I should also mention that 20% of that time was spent saying 'no thanks' to the pop-up ads. The tiny amount of gameplay that was there was great though.
Although I agree with some of the critics (but not all), I think you winy little brats should start appreciating excellent efforts such as this one and take it for what it is: an early effort and attempt at a very promising, very original application. And it's free, even though short and ad-infested, quit bitchin all the time,
It has its ups and downs. I can be a really good game if you try harder. I've kept an eye on this game for a while now and I don't see any up dates or any work at all. And the demand that I can submit my email, name... etc. I lost my hope for this game and I still can't wait for an update. I love the graphics and the mechanics are amazing. But my say on this game is I can't recommend the game until it's done.
Asus Nexus 7 - I like the low file size, be sure to keep it low. Graphics are great. Colors used are awesome. Gameplay seems smooth but may need some type of tweakage with the control, it seems a little laggy. Maybe change the look of the tiny yellow thing, it needs polishing. Other than that, this game may get really addicting. It's like combining Operation with those Limbo escape games and it definitely works for me. Keep up the great work.
the objective of the game is to move a spark thru a cave (a narrow twisting corridor) while solving some "puzzles" if you chose not to register the game a #$% pop up keeps asking you to, every single screen or level if you wish... about every 10 seconds, uninstalled it after 10 or so levels... very repetitive and boring
The flaw in the game is at the end of each level, the exit is to close to the edge of the screen it can be frustrating on some levels. If the exit was further away from the edge it would be a lot better. I don't know if anyone else has encountered this. Still it is a good game, with lots of levels that make you think about every move.
"Gabriel" your review is riddled with grammatical inconsistencies that lead one to believe you're trying to appear intelligent, thoughtful, and creative. But in fact, deliberate use of big words do not necessarily make an intelligible sentence. It's unfortunate, because some of what you said in the review is intelligent, but just as quickly it's regaled to nonsensical rambling due to incorrect word usage.
4 stars, you play as a dot, moved by dragging your finger across the screen and you have to go into the light...simple right...not so much...there are gates and monsters complicating your journey. overall a game worth downloading, and I think the developer has done a great job :)
While graphically this game is enjoyable, it is rough everywhere else. Slow touch controls that can't keep up with your finger movements, glitches and force quits, and the biggest offense of all: between every level it tries to get you to share your contact info with the developer (email, etc.). No thanks. Doesn't reach the source material it aspires to be. Play once (takes about 5 minutes) and then uninstall.
Beat the game in 5 min or so. Hate the pop up asinking if I want to sign up for an email..no means no bro but other than that was pretty cool..stop annoying me with the email sign up, add some.chapters I might even be tempted to throw down for it
I had no lags or stuttering with my LG F6 OPTIMUS. The fresh styling with great graphics all combine with a very playable simplicity to keep me playing whenever I have time to kill. Now if only I had a second chapter to play...
Im rating the game thus far. If i were to take off stars for the massive let down at the end of ch.1, i'd give it a 3. Prolly shouldnt put a game this short on the market. Super fun game. Super massive let down. And an ad after every level is only a LITTLE BIT annoying. I mean, really..... C'mon.
Fun to play, good graphics; I love that it's part puzzle/part side-scrolling runner. But as u might assume from my rating, there's a few problems.. Well really it's only 2, and they'd be relatively easy to fix, in which case I'd instantly change my rating to 5*: 1) The ball is too small. U can't get very good control, which is really important in some areas. 2) The "finish-line" area (which is just a light) is too close to the edge of the device, so much so that u often have to attempt to drag it thru multiple times. So were the ball a little bigger and the finish-light out a little farther, this game would be a lot less frustrating and a lot more fun than it already is.
This game was fun. And I liked the platform. I didn't like how it ended so quickly I wanted to play more. Well I guess the people who created this game have a great start for them, and I think they know how to make addictive and fun, yet also challenging games.
I like it, it has a fresh look and sound. But the subscribe to Appy email thing is annoying as it never goes away. I even tried to subscribe but it wouldn't accept my Canadian postal code w letters and numbers. PLEASE FIX. I'd gladly pay a buck for an ad-free full version.
Would be 3 or 4 but only if there wasn't an interuption between every round by an ad trying to pressure you into signing up for some non-descript "service". The 'no thanks' box is greyed out to imply registration is compulsary. Ad's in games is ok, but not if they become as intrusive as this. Because of this I wont even pay for a non free version of the game, the developer does not deserve it.
Fun concept. The graphics are dark, in a good way, and the background doesn't distract from the game play. Yes it is only 1 section of levels and a "boss battle" but u gotta start somewhere. I hope that in the future there are enough levels to make it deserving of a paid version. I think it'd be worth a dollar or 2. Until then the occasional ad after a level is alot better than having ads during the game play. The only suggestion I have is to make the goal area a little larger.
The only purpose of the new update is to promote his crappy new game Shane Reaction. Uninstalling shadow cave (i gave this 5 stars before), and rating a 1. Boycotting all releases from Artbit as well. Great job jackass.
Super short but wow what a brilliant yet simple concept. This should be its own category of touched based games. Seriously I can't believe this type of adventure game isn't done more frequently. If you can make a full-fledged game based off this concept I guaran it would give mass appeal. My only quam with the game was that I suggest on certain levels (aka boss) that you supply a small ring that demandsyour finger starts there for less confusion and frustration. Wow huge potential here bud, take advantage!
When installed thought it would last longer than 30 seconds. Lol that didn't sound right uninstallin it
Game is maybe 5 minutes long. You have to cancel out of a nag screen between every 30 second level. No way this game has a 4.5 star rating.
Love these types of games and this reminded me of one of my fav games which was Limbo which was also too short of a game. If this game came out with 100+ levels it would be an epic game and it would keep people coming back for more. Heres hoping!
A nice and beautiful game... Needs a little work on the player character. Enjoyable and the sounds are absolutely fantastic for setting the pace and atmosphere in the game
This game is fun but I just downloaded this game and played it for 5 minutes and it was over (don't download unless your board)
The game is honestly a 5 minute game. The concept is great just way to short. I would give 5 stars if the game was longer and actually could play. And after each level it asks for your email and home address. Very annoying. Uninstalling
The game is very good. Graphics are fine. It first took me 10 minutes to understand what I have to do exactly and then it took me another 10 minutes to finish it. The game is ridiculously short like one of those TV Shows which have only 6 episodes in the entire season. Fun game, the HARDEST level of all was the last one which consisted of racing the dragon and dodging the rocks. Brilliant concept, well made.
