Shadow Deck: Magic Heroes Card CCG

The gameplay part is alright. But it has a very steep difficulty curve, as it becomes super tough to level up your cards. And you have to watch a ton of videos for just a few rewards. If you're killing time and on a WiFi connection it's passable. I'm changing my rating to 1 star. It's only playable if you have WiFi, you spend more time watching ads than actually playing, and once you start leveling you have to lose roughly 3-4 matches before winning 1, unless of course you want to pay to win.

I've only been playing this a short time. For someone looking for an in depth tcg this is not really you. This game is basic atack/initiative/health, and then each card character has a combo skill you do not control. Despite this I still give it a solid 4 because its smooth running, f2p is a valid option, and even though its basic as far as a tcg, Im still able to enjoy it for what it is. I would recommend to a casual player.

This game has potential: good graphics, good concept and gameplay, easy to play, and i like it since im a TCG fan. The only problem is the unresponsive and snail server! Even opening chest, readying for battle, and playing ads for rewards took minutes before they start. It really annoys me! Worst server of all online game i've ever played! Fix this or your game will die. I'm uninstalling this for now and a 1* rating for incompetence..

Game is good, but lacks certain aspects. Timer on turns would be good, notification about when you are able to change name, only shows 1 guild to join. I like how missions in the compaign are designed, the 3* pass is fairly easy to get, needs an option for extra energy for compaign missions. Needs card sorting function and faction indicator.

A lot of fun, great graphics. A little glitchy with treasure chests not activating and the battle system needs work. I should be able to attck whomever I want and not just those adjacent. But having said that, overall this game is very good.

has a lot of potential, but i really dont see the point of timing the switching..it just doesn't add any strategic value to the game,also the game could use new modes,a survival mode for example or more frequent events at least cuz it gets stale. other than that great work,keep it up

This would be a really solid game if it wasnt for the fact you're basically crippled unless you pay excessive amounts or spend an eternity watching ads. Pretty much every single action has an ad attached, and sure it's optional but the game is literally unplayable without them, as you get minimal resources. Uninstalled as although I lile the game itself, I'm done with spending 75% of my time in the app watching the same three ads for other games.

Customisation guys, the only thing that could make your game different. And you don't have it. Copy past auto-battle card game. How could y make it differently? For example each card has different massive skill tree and lots of loot items which are fully customizable. Look at path of exile skill tree and think about it. People who pay are not children, we need complex games.

First off I'd like to say this is a pretty neat free to play game with just enough new ways of combat with a nice amount of free options to gain premium currency (diamonds) to keep it interesting. My only problem with this game is the 'special offers' which pop up from time to time which really make this game look like one big scam (I'm sorry to say this, but it's true). When you reach a certain amount of premium currency, you get a popup which let's you buy a premium chest, but the offers are always just a few hundred (2-3 euro's of currency) away from what you currently have so you'll have to pay a little bit and these offers return until you've almost reached the required amount for free... I would really like the devs to rethink their strategy for these 'special offers' because that is going to be the thing that is going to drive me away from this game.

Well . . . Overall the gameplay is not bad , verry verry basic gameplay .The graphics and artwork are well designed and give the game a " quality " feeling . But with that being said . The adds to get a bit annoying and are the most offsetting of all , the creators are trying to force watching adds with clever "box hilights" and word play . For those reasons i would have to give Shadow Deck no more then a 1.9 rating. "Acid"

👍I do not like the system of progression as far as 2,400 to 3,000 . seems to be where , you spend a lot of money to gear up . If you don't you fight over powered cards in the. 2,800 + and loose until you can play same as you or close , to get back to where you started 2,440. Totally frustrating I think.

Good game "IF" you like watching ads. There is no way you can progress without spending, because you will only get common cards over and over. Acquiring coins and gems are very very slow. Youll get 5 coins per chest and you need to watch ads just to double those coins. I spend MORE TIME WATCHING ads (just to get more coins needed to level up cards) than playing the actual game. I installed the game to "play a game" and NOT watch ads.

Needs alot of work. Firstly, it's not really a game: Two cards are automatically played (two more slots unlock as you level up, up to 4 cards). You the proceed to click "next" till the outcome of the battle. It's got the normal card progression system. get award gems and cards which you need to upgrade and evolve.

Great premise. Not enough execution. This game needs more to do in it. All you.can do is Battle and hit the Arena. Nothing else. Needs more ways to get cards. Gets boring really fast and ut gets REALLY hard to advance even early in the game without TONS of grinding. and what's with not being able to target a mob when other troops can?

Uses way too much RAM. Which is odd because the game itself isnt graphically intensive, or pleasing to look at. Game board is extremely basic. Not very innovative. Card images are great though. The artists worked well on those.

Too many ads and less play time , also it would be cool if there was a free gem gift chest or treasure pile , where there are like variety of different things example : cards , coin and gems from which we can choose.... Also a major setback for the game is that when we get similar cards but of different levels we cannot substitute it for the higher one , so becomes a redundancy , it would be cool if similar cards are added to the ones of higher level for faster levelling up of cards..

takes years get further without paying hundreds of dollars. Plus their offers for free gems do not even work, completed 2 and still haven't received the gems or even a response from the dev after I sent a message weeks ago, total waste of time, don't bother downloading. I've played alot of games and this one is easily top 3 worst. UPDATE: Even after multiple attempts of trying to contact the devs over a month after completing an offer still nothing. One star rating is one too many.

the concept of the game is alright but it is way to slow to play and progress after initial levels. To get anything done you have to watch commercials, in one 15 minute play session you have to watchat least 5 videos. Their in game store is pretty expensive. So try it for game play and decide for your self

I don't see why this is so great. Upgrading gets harder, mostly pay 2 win, and the lack of a helpfull tutorial. The only other thing that bothers me are the troops and gameplay. Attacking only troops on front of the card? What about the upper left side? And the lack of emersiveness. Seriously. 1 stars.

Love the game. Love the cards. Don't like the weaker versions of card that become useless(Vampire vs Mighty Vampire). Also please fix the wooden chest so that i can open it by waiting, instead of forcing an ad on me. Ads should be optional, not mandatory. Fix the chests and i will give 4 stars, 5 as the game improves.

Very shallow game play and the sheer amount of adverts not only optional but forced on you is eye watering. Very little to do but grind the same battles again and again basically facing the same decks every time. Gets very dull very fast. Many better examples of this genre available.

So the game itself is 4 stars. Fun enough to kill time. Simple enough to grasp easily. Fun but could use some more variety or even a storyline. Free to play BUT with that being said, its a 3 star game due to the EXTREME amount of ads present. You dont HAVE to watch them but they are spammed everywhere.

Still too early in the game to do a complete review, but overall it's interesting but a bit to straightforward. Maybe as I unlock new heroes it will become more strategic. Nevertheless it's a very solid 4 for me! Good job guys, will keep playing and see how it will evolve!

Great game, but... It one of those games that you realize you should have done some things differently in beginning. I would love to give it 5 stars, but there is no way to reset your account. I've become stuck with no way of fixing, so I have to stop playing. I will update my post to 5 stars if this is fixed

Very straightforward, simplistic game. Easy to learn and advance quickly. Nice graphics and controls. Only gripe would be the overly simple battles that involve little more than choosing a target pressing play.

Ok game, there are way too many ad videos vs actual gameplay. The ad rewards are small. You can't level up unless you get cards, you can't get cards unless you get good chests, you can't get chests unless you win battles, but you need cards... You are severely limited (by trophy points) what cards are available to you, which makes building a viable faction team difficult. I played the game for a week, spent about $10, and was not impressed.
