Shadow Era - Trading Card Game

New here, but how can you not love this game! Gives me an MTG fix even though it's a different game style. Challenging , fun, gets the brain cells pumping, has variety. The deck building feature is one of my favourites. Teaching me to be a better deck builder and strategic player, though I've still got much more to skill up on. Can't wait though :) Everything's straightforward no mucking around, easy to navigate and not impossible to upskill or earn rewards/ buy cards. Nothing goes to waste 👌

For a random dive, I've thoroughly enjoyed this game so far. A little pay-to-play, but not close to most games *coughs* (yugioh). Haven't seen any AI issues or weird glitches, running on a Samsung S10E. Could be a little more rewarding, but I like the slow struggle, so that's your call. Give it a go! I love this game!!!

Been playing since 2011 on and off, game is very well designed and balanced. Updates are not that often but for the most part that is okay. Would give it 5 stars but the devs decided that implementing Blockchain was somehow a good idea. Have never used it and will never use that feature and my experience is still good.

Very good game love the mechanics, took awhile to figure out how to cancel adding a card to my deck when I looked at it but once I figured it out I was set. All together great graphics as well as storyline. Love the game and wpuld definitely recommend playing and trying it out.

I have enjoyed this game over the years and it's newer interface is slick. I recommend this card combat to people who want a fast paced yet thought provoking strategy game. I enjoy the art and abilities per hero card. The graphics during ability use are also a nice touch.

Unbalanced game needs to be fixed. There isn't 3 modes there are in all honesty two. Difficult and Impossible. Easy mode was to me hard mode but fair. Here is example of unbalanced, fighting Logan at level two as the AI has a tier 5 card brutal minotaur ready as his first draw. Doesn't appear game dev thought about these details before the games release unfortunately.

Game is ok, some things don't seem to make much sense or are glitching. They don't start you with good enough cards and make it seem pay2win. Also campaign is only 2 sections? Yet the map looks way bigger? Not sure if there is more or DLC? Also why did I have a ally that stayed on my field and then don't have her anymore?

An underrated card game with storylines and multiple choices of Jobs/Classes. I would recommend this game. However, some issues for this game: 1. This game is quite slow and unflexible of viewing cards. you have to click the card to see and back. Suggestion: Make it as "Hold" the card to view cards instead of click. 2. Make the battle screen vertical. Doing Horizontal make the tiles too small and hard to click the target or hand. Therefore, 4 stars for now.

Super fun. Better than Magic and I'm addicted to building decks. But please release more cards and heroes! Part of the addiction is finding more creative decks and I've already pretty much maxed out the game

Fun game with a multitude of cards but unfortunately to get a good deck you must pay cause the rewards threw quest is far from profitable for card packs. I love grinding as much as anyone but dam.

Awesome Although some of the art of the cards varies in quality, this game is very well balanced and tactical. Winning isn't as random and there are a lot of cards/decks to choose from. Very good.

Great game with very fun and diverse battle mechanics/heroes. Makes it new and interesting every time you play. There are a few glitches but otherwise it works fine.

Only just started playing a few days ago but so far seems like a good game. Strong opening story line, lots of different cards (that seem easy enough to get) and plenty to think about while being relatively uncomplicated when you know what to do.

This game has potential. However due to the owners/developers locking cool features like pets etc. Behind an NFT/Cryptocurrency wall. I no longer have respect for them or their game. All the money they earned from their community they are not giving back. They are instead using said profits for their own crypto nonsense. Also in terms of balance, their is not to many viable builds to use in this game. Overall just a really poor experience & such explains why the game isn't popular.

Sometimes when playing with AI, especially when they are on disadvantage, they do not end their turn that all I can do is to quit the game or concede. please fix this.

I stopped playing this game after only having played for a short time but forgot why. Then i decided to play campaign to re-familiarize myself with the cards and rules etc. Well, campaign is un-freakin-playable because the code is so trash that it takes X amount of time for the AI to make a move. X equals about 10 seconds for EACH card on the battlefield. AND they just added a major update to the game. UPDATE YOUR CODE PLEASE! Everything else about the game is FIVE STARS

I love the game so far, it's pretty good and me being a magic the gathering fan I find this very similar and enjoyable. But just because it is similar doesn't mean it IS MTG, this game does have it's own kinks that make it worthy of having it's own title as its very own game. If I find any improvements needed I will update this review but so far nothing

The game is well thought out. There Are a variety of cards to choose from and the game play is simple to understand and fun. The art style on each of the cards also looks well thought out.

I used to play this back in the day and used to love it! Having come back it definitely feels more challenging, but that just makes a win feel more satisfying!

To be a card game I did not that I was going to like it but then whenever I finally started playing and understanding how it is put together it is one of the greatest games I ever played yeah so many different card characters there's too many to mention but I really like the Wolfpack cards

The idea is good. Game seems smart. But it is difficult to play cause the cards are very small, you should zoom all the time and the duel realm is very slow, even when you set the quick mode in the options. Played for around a two hours , didn't enjoy it. It is not complex, actually that part is pretty good, but it is not playable in a way. To bad, if they make several changes could be great

As a card game it's good but the overall quality of life is not up to par. The filter to search for cards doesn't include the description text, so you must know the exact name of the card. It would be nice to have an actual in depth tutorial because it feels like a waste of time going in with no knowledge and just losing. The free to play aspect of the game is okay, my reasoning for that is because you can individually buy cards with gold, but to get gold you must win, but when you lose, you get nothing besides experience. It's frustrating because games are about 10 mins and if you lose, you basically get nothing from it. I suggest at least getting half or a quarter of the gold you would earn from a win.

A fantastic game. gorgeous artwork, smooth gameplay. Really enjoying it. The only problem is the layout, there's a lot of empty space on either side of the playing field so the filed itself and the cards are unnecessarily small. I wish they'd make the playing field take up the full screen so that I'm not squinting to see what's going on.

So far it's not really enjoyable. You can only do so much in campaign before getting stuck. Cannot really progress unless you buy more cards to become competitive. Rank is kinda unless unless you have decent cards. The system pairs you with someone who will dominate the field. It is not beginner friendly unless you spend money. This game is probably God enough to pass time. Will update if game improves.

It's alright. I can't seem to get the pace of play to stay consistent. The animations are so slow and when I adjust the slider it doesn't seem to do anything, sometimes if I put it on the slowest setting is when it seems to go the fastest. It needs an automatic stop for using cards as resources because when I'm at 7 I don't really need to sacrifice anymore cards

- Bugs that got reported 8 months ago are still present - Errors crashing the Game with no option to rejoin - It takes forever to get new content (nothing changed since 8 months ago) This Game could be fun but it seems like very few ressources are used to keep it alive. Meta is stale for months and noone seems to care about bugs. Competition looks better, sounds better, gets new content way more frequently, offers better system to compete. No idea why you would stick with this one.

There's a serious bug with my favorite card (antimatter). Normally you are supposed to be able to select a card to discard after drawing, but 50% of the time the game will not allow you to select anything. At this point the game is over because you locked into a selection the game won't let you make and the only option is to forfeit. It's extremely frustrating to be in a great match only to have it abruptly end, all because you wanted to draw a card. I'll change my review when this bug is fixed.
