GAMERS: This is NOT A MATCH-3 GAME. I installed based on that promise, and the game itself just wasn't for me after I tried a few levels. It's just too simplistic, sorry. I wanted a puzzle, a challenge. Good graphics and sound, and an interesting plot, though. You might enjoy it! DEAR DEVS: your game has potential, but I suggest changing your description and trailer to not be so unintentionally deceptive. It's not a match-3. I wish you all the best in its development though. It looks good
So far ain't too bad. Runs pretty good on my phone and I like it ain't a connect 3 puzzle. Simple UI to navigate and the actual game part isn't too hard to figure out. But if I have to give cons, I feel like summoning is a bit too expensive for the randomness of getting items and that your monsters carry over damage after each match. So then you'll be forced to sit and wait for your favorite monster to be ready to go. Overall though, a fun experience if you want a change of pace.
The monster card art is nice, the gameplay is far too simple, if you don't make a move within a few seconds the game prompts you on the next best move. Becomes pay to play in under and hour. Shame because I really like the art style. Not worth it unless you want to play for a few minutes a day. Uninstalled.
After playing it for a while, when selecting a 4th fighter (henchmen) in the fight loadout screen, it's really annoying to have to plan my entire lineup of characters around 2 random selections (Facebook is dumb, and I have no intentions of connecting a currently non existent account) with a single refresh, (given you watch an ad) I wish I could watch more ads for more "spins" or be able to chose the henchmen you want to bring from the syndicate, or an in-game friend system, maybe?
Hey so I'm happy to say I came back after some issues I found in this game...I been play for a few hours. Turns out I was very wrong about my first review. This game is balanced but becomes reasonably difficult even if you approach from a strategic point. But...if you use your tactics that you learn from losing will can over come it's hardships. In other words you should be matching your monsters in accordance to the enemies you're fighting, upgrade every single chance you get. Good game!
If I could give zero stars I would. It's so obviously pay to win. I barely made it past the 1st area and I'm constantly losing. You can only play with monsters, but they sustain their lost health after the fight and it takes forever to recharge. You start with just enough monsters to make a team without paying any money. The enemies halfway through the first section one shot your monsters without a type advantage. Then there's in the two round stages they maintain the injuries. Plus other things
Interesting game but too quickly got into the unwinnable situation at end of first area. Need powerful units but you cannot get without summoning. Also as stated before the enemy gets too many "free" hits in so your underpowered troops are wiped out each round and multiple rounds = at least 1 unit gone at the start of the next round. Also cannot play previous areas too level up so only way is to wait for "free" items to give you enough for a summons or pay to get them.
Really great game, this from a very picky guy who only plays slect Android games. Game type is a bit common, though not much - heroes cards combat, with gems matching, but definately doesn't feel that way. Feels nice, looks great, artwork is really nice, characters are really nicely polished, they work well in a lot of combinations, only 2 places where adds play and those do when you choose to for rewards, feels rally rewarding, sindicates and raids arenice, even spent cash in-game, no regrets!
i don't normally review games, but I need to for this one. Best puzzle RPG I've ever played. No limit to playing levels because of energy, not pay-to-win (although you have the option of in-app purchases), challenging without ever being impossible. This is definitely worth downloading.
this isnt a game, its a highly polished trap designed to get you to start spending money from the second you download it. they dont even let you finish the "tutorial" intro levels before throwing a brick wall in your way to stop all progress, while reminding you for a low fee you can pass!
Solid theme with a lot of thought put into how it all works (eg. why you can fight a monster you already 'own') and cool artwork (I really like how every monster's primary colour is its element, which enhances readability). Only 10 levels into it so far but at the moment there're no PTW shenanigans and the only ads I've watched were optional.
The monsters are interesting, so far it's a heavy Egyptian theme which works with the story-line. Not very far into the game yet, but it shows great potential. Looking forward to seeing how the game progresses.
A very good game, they responded to my email as soon as I sent it, and the game itself is addicting. However, I think that you should add more monsters, since there is so many more monsters that could be added. I gave it a 4 star because the teams we could use are very limited since there are not too many monsters.
Pretty Epic Game, it keeps you Entertained with lots to do. Great graphic and lots of monsters. Had an issue with a glitch contacted tech support they resolved issues almost instantly. I was impressed. I'll be sticking with it for awhile.
Even though other players encountered the pay to win problem, I didn't find it hard to master this game. I had played this game for years and I never put in any real money to buy anything in this game. I have a good team of monsters which can defeat most of the levels. I guess is it not pay to win, you just need some effort and time. Keep up the good work PikPok, I love this game!
i love it, tight @$$ Monster/Monstress/Vigilantants heroes puzzle rpg. Y'all need different artworks for backgrounds on the levels, I jyst played a Motel lv, and I was thinking it'd be hella sweet if this background had like some trash and rats running around behind a dumpster landscaped out back of the motel.. y'know, to keep it out of the public eye an all... thx 4 tha game keep it up
The game is amazing! It stands out from all the other generic match-3-rpg-puzzle games out there. I really love the concept art style, the story is intriguing and it actually requires tactics, skills and planning. I will surely support the devs by purchasing some their premium currency.
This would be fun if not for the fact that without being able to return to previous fights you cannot gain enough xp to level up and survive new encounters unless yer willing to spend real cash. Not everyone who plays these games are wealthy. For this reason I am regrettably forced to delete this game. Devs should consider this one flaw thats discovered early in the game play.
I generally only play cell games for about a week before they're boring or pay to play. I've been playing this for over a year. probably the best game I've come across for mobile. wish you would add new levels and make the new monsters available in daily/weekly. I'm probably near the end of my play time due to there being nothing left now. I've also searched your other games and found that they are all pay to play, you should follow this model, I actually paid for VIP for a bit because of it.
I like the concept and the dynamics but too grindy meaning you have to get off of the game for long periods of time to try again. The monster selection is limited. The evolutions are not that impressive skillwise or looks.
Engaging, creative and unique battle system. Actually requires some strategy and thought to progress! Very much enjoy playing and look forward to acquiring more advanced and powerful monsters.
Love the concept, easy control. But some starting levels won't let me get 3 stars because of the monsters health. The enemy monsters are always overkilling at least one of mine. It definitely need an update for giving users more obsidians or make free gatcha options.
Really cool game! Nice way to pass the time if you aren't that into monsters. But if you are, this game is hella kickass. Smooth and easy to understand. Quite addictive too! Puts puzzles and strategye right together.
In general terms, the game is great. The only things that bother me are that you have to pay to make more powerful monsters or to get more creatures. I can deal with it, but sometimes there is just no way to win. Too powerful enemies and the monsters the user has are too weak, even when combining different skills and elements. The consequence is: the game becomes boring too soon.
