Shady Contacts

So it for the most part does what it says. Problems include: - MMS messages show up in regular text messages. - Does not always lock itself (I have set to lock after 1 minute, but I'll open the app a day later and there are all my messages, just sitting there for anyone to read) - Does not always show icon in notification bar when a text has been sent (with notifications turned on)

Does exactly what it should. Only thing I haven't figured out is it masks my incoming texts, but my outgoing still appear in the stock text message app. Anyone know of a fix for this? I'm on a galaxy note 3. Edit: fixed it, works on the licensed version perfectly, just not on the free one at the moment, sure they will fix that. So 5 stars to you!!

Auto destroy should work on patterns too. And its hard to delete one message at a time. It lacks feature to delete whole conversation.

I can give the app a 5 if the msgs stored in app are displayed as a thread as like in the messaging app.. Now all msgs from sender are shown first then all msgs from receiver are shown later..

This app keeps crashing as soon as you open it. It worked good for a little while, but now is messed up. Don't install

Would have given it 5 starz but only hides messages. Ur picture s will show. It's a cheaters dream app.

When I text someone it still show up in my original message inbox...

Just installed on my Gs4 and sc keeps crashing over and over again. Had sc on my gs3 and never had any problems.

I have used this app for over a year. Never fails. Keeps nosy peeps or of my mail. Thanks sc. You rock.

I hardly ever give apps 5 stars but this thing does exactly what I want. Hides my text without going through some other program and you can even make the app completely invisible!

so far this app is great! i even bought a licence but it needs an option to enable call blocking so that theres no surprise calls. and it wld be amazing if it cld do secret whatsapp msgs too :) great job guys!

I hid the app icon but I don't know where to enter the code to un-hide it.

Doesn't hide texts like it's supposed to. Outgoing Texts still shows up in the inbox until an Incoming texts comes in. Defeats the purpose of having it.

Ok yes it hides my texts but even when I disabled notifications it still shows I have a message and says what the message says too! That defeats the purpose of me hiding my texts if someone can still see I received a message in my notifications bar! Fix that and I'll give it 5 stars

Very good.... but why not adding abilities of backup and restore contacts, send and share contacts, and interface need for more arrangement

Works great on my samsung gs3, the only thing that prevented 5 ★ was that it doesn't receive mms msgs. AND the fact thay i downloaded it in google play

Nothing has changed other than now I can see texts both in my default app and this app as well..... pointless

When you add a contact to hide and you text them then your text shows up on the regular inbox. Is there a way to have it show just in the app and not the default msg

Terrible. I'm still able to see the messages in my general SMS application. I thought it was built to hide the messages? Perhaps I configured it incorrectly. Bottom line, it is not hiding the messages.

Constantly stops. Cannot send or receive images. Very unstable.

Great concept but the messages are still showing in my regular inbox. If this is not fixed I'll have no choice but to delete it.

Doesn't work on my device because it's "post kit kat". Kit kat was late 2013. Why does this app still exist? I gave it two stars because at least it opened with a screen pretty much saying just that.

The only thing I can do is add to contacts and they are still in the stock contacts. Pointless!

Something really needs to be done about this! All of my contacts, recent calls and messages were deleted. I don't have it set to auto destroy!! It's bullshit and I don't know how it happened.

I do but having the problem of not beong able to add contacts to it..

everytime i open this app it just says shady contact has stopped working. cant access the app or restore any of my messages. worst app iv ever installed!
