I installed this app and bought a VIP subscription in 2021 only to watch formula 1. In 2022 the VIP subscription which I renewed is not working anymore. Yiu need another subscription VIP Sports which costs double. I didn't know about it when my subscription renewed automatically and I didn't agree to pay this much for 2022 because I found cheaper alternatives. I asked for a refund but they refused and invited me to pay the upgrade. Already uninstalled Shahid application. Terrible experience👎
Overall great except the connectivity crashes... enjoy the fact that we can choose the video quality which helps with the smooth display almost without long buffering. On the other, the ads are quite intrusive and the VIP option doesnt give us a greater range of choices in terms of available TV shows either... :-( Update May 2022: it's much better now with the latest release, thanks a lot for the changes!
Not bad, definitely not like Netflix experience. I really wish we can control the subtitles (add background or choose the color, as whenever am watching a show and the background is white... I just can't read the subs)
The app has many shows, series and movies but it does also have many bugs, here they are: 1: you can only play the downloaded episodes while you turn off mobile data or wi-fi or else you'll see an error messages. 2: new episodes can be seen on episodes count but they are not there for a while. 3: bad download management as you don't know if the episodes are there or not even when playing the episodes online; episodes keep on loading for a long time though I have a stable internet connection.
For such a big platform I expect much better. Subscribing was a hassle with no reason as to what the issue was. Never encountered this problem with any service I subscribe to. The interface needs work and is not user-friendly. I re-subscribed after years hoping to see an improvement, but it is actually worse. Do not appreciate how little they care about viewers experience.
The user experience is very primitive (in the comtinue watching, the episodes do not update with were I stopped watching most of the time, and I have to start warching from that old position and skip to other episodes while watching). Also the TV enters into endless loading loops rewuiring to endlessly stop casting and recasting. It took me 15 min to continue watching an episode I had already started because of a sudden endless loading screen.
The app is only working on my smart phone. The app on my tv, there is always an error and can't play any video. And the app in my tablet doesn't work. Whenever I try to login there is just a blank page and nowhere to write my email and password.
The worst customer service every experienced in my life. Subscription very complicated I have subscribed to VIP to watch the formula 1 and was surprised that I need to subscribe to another package which is VIP sports..... there is no option to change payment method or upgrading. I opened a ticket with the customer service a week ago. Everytime I sent a reply a different person answers and i have to explain my self again as if they don't read their emails or they don't even care!!!!!!
Overall delivers on its promise. I wouldve loved to be able to cast to my TV (similar to the YouTube and Netflix app). Also, I used to love to watch live tv from multiple sources (like LBCI, MBC4, MBC2, etc...) unfortunately now that's no longer an option. Shahid is a great platform especially for expats to stay connected to original shows and TV series coming from the region
Just paid a year subscription, TV app keeps showing trailers infinitly with no mean to skip, then tried ti contact them through their Android Application from contact us, fields to fill the data are frozen and there is no other way to contact support 😀
This app will take advantage of your card and steal your money. don't give this app your credit card. There refund policy !!! if you make a mistake like I did, your money is gone. I called them one minute after I made a mistake to get a refund and get my previous subscription plan, they refused and told me to enjoy the plan that I don't need.
I'm writing a quick review and let's call it a legit demand, regarding the content, first you said in your ads and newsletters there's live TV and I see no live TV channels in the section in my region which is Morocco, You force us to use a vpn in order to watch live tv, the second thing is the content your library is very poor of western movies, TV shows regarding the genre, I personally not convinced and so many in Arabic countries that we may still subscribers.
Bad video with black screen when casting with Xiaomi 11 T pro. Update : after one week of correspondence with Technical support team, they advised my Xiaomi 11 T pro is not supported and they asked me to used another phone !!! NO SIRS , YOU HAVE TO UPDATE YOUR APPLICATION WITH THE NEW PHONES . I will unsubscribe to Shahid 👎🏻
The app was great on both TV and phone until last week. Now it doesn't work at all on TV, which is very disappointing for a paid service.
I love the app. The only thing I don't like about it is that you can't remove anything you are watching from continuing to watch list till you're watch it fully. For example, I might watch a series but didn't like it . it has to stay there forever fix that issue, pls
I don't understand why the application keeps showing the message "there is something wrong" or "the content isn't available" I've contacted customer service and they requested some screen shots that can't be shared by mail due to the privacy policy. I need a solution as I pay to watch series not to get angry.
The worst streaming app in the world! First, most content is VIP. Second, when you subscribe you always got a stupid message saying that content is unavailable right now whenever you try to watch anything on it.. Like what the heck!!
That fraudulent app unlawfully and prematurely renewed my subscription! I tried reaching out to them about it, but they had no answer to that fact, and refused to refund me. I am not going to let that fraudulent activity go.
Sometimes i got the error 3014 on my mobile and can't watch some shows. I restarted my mobile and reinstalled the app and still have it. Android system. Please help. Thanks.
I was happy with my WWE app and watching the old episodes from the 1990s in order and suddenly I found out that they partnered with this trash app. I used to pay monthly subscription for WWE app 10 SR / MONTH now I have to pay a FULL YEAR which they call ramadan offer 360 SR to access these videos again which is VERY OVERPRICED and they only have up to 2014. I will only give it a try after they have uploaded the full WWE library. Until then, 0 stars if possible to this scam.
I can't access my subscription since the last update, also I can't see the message that appears, it is a blank message with one button for ok.
4 months and I can't log in through the application and the customer support didn't give any solution or effective help and no follow up . I waisted 5 months of my subscription. The app stopped to open on my mobile phone, Shahd must find a solution on this repetitive problem
I cant believe WWE chose this for their streaming. Pathetic app. Pathetic customer service. I subscribed to the wrong package, they didnt let me refund. When i asked to upgrade, i couldnt avail it on offer and asked me to pay standard full price. These guys are theives
Unsubscribed because it is not working on my Mi box and untill now it's demo which is so annoying. Developers contacted me via email and I sent them all the information needed still problem is not fixed, so there is no point to still subscribing
Everytime i download an episode , it just dissappears in the same day . Also can't watch a downloaded episode without switching off all source of Internet.
The app is very bad, since I subscribed to Shahid I could not open it from my phone till now I called them but they told me remove data from app manager but still not working then they ask me to remove it and install again to get the latest version and this also is not working
Terrible streaming quality, stops every 2 min or less, Live events even worse. When it works the actual video quality is far from HD , heavy compression with artifacts everywhere. Works bad on the app and the PC. Save your money.
