Shapefile over Map (Demo)
With this GIS application, you can select and load a shp file or load an entire folder automatically. You can select one of these shp files and mark it as the active layer and if you do a long press over one of them you can change its coordinate system, its color or make it invisible.The map will display a series of icons, belonging to each of the records in the active layer, which when pressed will allow you to view and edit information from its corresponding attribute table.
The application also allows you to view your current position via GPS and center the map on it. You can choose between several online map servers.
This is a demo version, some functionalities are only available in the full version.

Keeps crashing but has great potential would buy if I had more confidence in it. Its intuitive and functional, not sure if works offline i dont get that far..
Used this to open and search mining datasources. Worked where many much more expensive options crashed or failed to read the file. Dev helpful and responsive regarding problems which stemmed from excessively large files. Reduced with GDAL (on PC) and all is good. Definitely buying the paid version now for multiple layer support. Definitely try this app on your data before downloading any other shapefile apps... especially as most others are rubbish and don't work!

The show info shape icon and access to the dbf doesn't show up the majority of the time. When it does work this app is great. If this can be fixed I will purchase and give 5 stars.
An awesome aplication, a gis man should have this. An easy interface with the amazing view.
3 minutes after installing deleted. There is no functionalty in Demo version, push you to buy the full version while I don't know anyhting about it. Don't bother to download. Thanks
Using a Samsung Note 2 and Android ver. 4.1.2. The demo version did not allow me to load more than one layer and it didn't display the single layer that I could add. I can change color and make it visible but it doesn't display the layer on top of the base map. I couldn't find any documentation so that I could determine what I was doing wrong. I'm not willing to spend $7.50 for the full app unless I know that it will meet my needs. Other similar apps provide online documentation. The vast majority of options say something like Sorry that option is only available with the full version. A free 2 week trial of the full version would be helpful.

Balloons are too big. They overlap even at the highest zoom level. Make them a little smaller and also allow higher zoom level (independent of the map).
I used the pro version. It works fairly good but I tried to load some data and it keep saying me that memory does not support the shp that I added. I have no idea what is the source of the problem and how I can solve it.
It is really good app, much efforts taken. Too Good
- Initial loading of a large shape file is very slow. (I know it could be much faster because I've been messing around with the Esri geometry-api-java. Loading from a memory mapped direct ByteBuffer is at least four times faster.) + Drawing is reasonably fast, even when hundreds of shapes are visible. - The shape file has to be reloaded if you rotate the device! - There doesn't seem to be any way to set multiple colors based on a column in the dbf.
