Video function freezes everytime. And the pictures never saved to camera roll. My two years loves taking the picture but sad that he can't look back at them. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I gave permission to keep pictures and videos but it still does not save. I really hope this gets fixed.
I think the concept of this is so adorable! However it does not work. The character only appears if you match up the circle on the bottom with the circle on your phone perfectly and disappears as soon as you stray to far from the circle. I got it to work once. There is no way a toddler will stay still long enough for the character to appear. And I was just taking a normal picture, no one was holding the cup. The phone would also need to be on say a tripod to stay still. Way to much work. Sorry.
the app is worthless because you have to tip the cup upside down to get it to work. Then it only shows a picture of Mickey or Mickey and Donald on your phone but if you move it off of the the app circle on the bottom of the cup the picture disappears. It's not worth it at all even being free. don't take my word for it try it yourself.
I have installed and uninstalled this app 3 times now, in hopes that there is just some sort of glitch, but each time I try to open the video option, it freezes the entire app. I have a Samsung A20, so it may have something to do with how upgraded of a phone people have.
Downloaded it once on my android phone to help reinforce potty training, THEN realized i needed the 3-in-1 potty in order to use the app. My bad. I uninstall it from my phone. Decided to get the potty mentioned in the app info bc my kid loves Mickey & I NEED the child to start using a toilet already. I chose to download it on a spare Galaxy tablet that she can use. Takes a full minute just to open. Once on the home screen, I can't go any farther. That's strike 2.
Don't waste your time. Video mode freezes up. Camera mode won't save pics to my phone. Also images that appear fro. The app are too small, cannot be moved or resized. As I said, don't waste your time.
Sippy cup scan works but I wish you could move the character around on the screen so it isn't just centered on the bottom. Also can't save pictures and when I use the video function it freezes and shuts the app down.
I was really excited to download the app and try it out right away with my son because he is a hug lightning mcqueen fan. We scanned the code on the bottom of the sippy cups and took picture after picture just to find out that nothing was getting saved onto the camera roll. I then got on here to read what other people have been saying and wow its truly disappointing that everyone is experiencing the same thing especially when its the little ones who are huge fans of these characters! Change it!!
The concept is great for kids, but the first time I used the app the camera froze. We restarted the app and reversed the camera, when the character appeared my son was super excited, then it froze again!
I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+, & it downloaded quickly, (over wifi, gigantic app!), & worked flawlessly. Very cute, but takes up LOADS of space, so may not keep it. Allowed me to take pics as well!
I got this app for a booster seat that I bought for my two-year-old. Setup was glitchy, it doesn't seem to want to work with her Galaxy A tablet, but it's a blast on my phone. A.R. characters pop out of the tray. Very cool.
really cute idea.. but requires you hold the cup steady, with the image upclose to the camera.. kinda hard to do with a bouncy toddler.. but got a cute reaction out of it.. so worth the time to play around with the app.
I was super excited when my in laws bought this for my daughter.. I went to take a picture but it never saved it to my camera roll like it said! I'm hoping they can fix this! If they can't, this app is useless!
Pretty clumbsy, silly, and cheap. It's a good marketing idea without funding or planning and research. Feedback opens email on submit.
The video recorder freezes every time so I have to close it and start all over again. It's frustrating...
What is the point of a camera app that won't save your pictures?!?!? There isn't one! If it saves the pictures you took, it'd be a 4 star review.
Photos and videos do not save to camera roll. Please fix this would be a great app otherwise!
Got the sippy cups for my son and took photos but they don't save to my camera roll 😥 where do I find the photos or is it just fake!!!! Unhappy
Seems silly to have a feature to take pictures when you can't save them.
Picture does not work, there is no camera icon to take picture. Real disappointed.
does not work, i finally got the circle perfectly lined up, the princess appeared, gave my daughter the cup and the princess just sat on the bottom of the screen thereafter. I also have no idea where the pictures taken went... Russians probably have my daughter's picture now.
It didn't work for me. I couldnt get it to focus on the sticker for potty training. Disappointed.

Really fun idea and the AR works very well. But it won't capture pictures I try to take. It'll allow me to save the videos I record but not any pictures I attempt to take. I think this could get even better if the characters animated just a bit as well so when someone is taking a picture they could get something a little more unique, but even without that it looks very good and is very responsive.
